Logan asked: "How is General Darwin’s side preparing?"

Natalia brought up another screen and replied: "The decoy force is in place. According to the plan, we will leave a gap in our defense to lure so enemy troops in, then..."

She didn’t finish, but Logan already understood.

The Death God of Love nuclear bomb.

One of the Federation’s last cards. It could clear a large area of living units, but at a high cost. It would not only kill the enemy, but also pollute the land for decades.

"I hope we don’t have to use too much of it." Logan said quietly. "If possible, I don’t want to destroy the Federation’s capital."

After saying that, Logan frowned and looked into the distance.

At this mont, the battle was going beyond expectations.

The rebel forces did not advance slowly like a regular army. Instead, they launched a full attack at the sa ti.

Fifteen thousand soldiers rushed toward the wall like a tide, without any formation or tactics, just overwhelming with numbers.

It was like a beast tide.

"Fire!" The order spread through the communication network to the whole army.

The heavy artillery fired together, and shells rained down on the enemy.

Explosions lit up the black flood. Each shell cleared a large area.

But the rebel soldiers showed no fear.

They were controlled by Shadow Beings, and had no fear of death. Those in front fell, and those behind imdiately took their place, stepping over the bodies of their comrades and continuing to charge forward.

"Out of the gate! The familiar tar unit, go!"

The city gate opened, and the Federation’s familiar troops rushed out of the defenses.

These familiar tars were all key mbers of various associations. Their familiars were all different, and a large number of them rushed out of the city walls, directly clashing with the rebels.

But the rebels were simply too many. Ten thousand Shadow puppets and five thousand puppet familiars – three tis the number of the Snow Dragon’s forces. The gap was huge, and the pressure on the defense line increased greatly.

An agent reported urgently: "Principal, there’s an enemy attack on the left flank of Saint Heart City!"

"Indeed!" Logan frowned and ordered: "Tell General Philip to send troops to reinforce."

At that mont, the old Corleone sighed beside him: "Kid, your judgnt was right again. They really want to attack us from both inside and outside."

Logan nodded and said seriously: "I’ll go to Saint Heart City to send so reinforcents."

With that, Logan vanished in a flash and appeared in Saint Heart City.

As soon as he showed up, he didn’t say a word. He just dropped the Spirit Palace and Ghost Palace at the foot of the wall.

Soon after, the heroes’ forces rushed out, flying into the air. More than a hundred semi-transparent spirits flew toward the left flank, passing through the walls and entering the battlefield directly.

The heroes fought differently from living people. They had no physical bodies, so physical attacks had limited effect. But their mind attacks could directly destroy the core of the Shadow Beings’ puppets.

Captain Marx led the charge. Though his spirit body was ghost-like, the energy spear in his hand was solid and real.

With one thrust, three ters ahead of him, the rebel soldiers all froze. Their soul cores were pierced exactly, and the black light in their eyes went out instantly.

Officer Eleanor provided cover on the flank. With her hands making gestures, her ntal Power spread like a net, locking onto the Shadow Beings puppets trying to bypass the defense.

Each target that was locked was tied by invisible mind ropes, and their movents slowly slowed down.

On the wall, a soldier muttered: "This is the power of the Spirit Palace, huh?"

General Philip floated in the air. Every ti he fired his cha cannons, a wave of souls spread out.

The waves swept across the battlefield. The Shadow Beings puppets that were hit fell to the ground like puppets with their strings cut.

But the heroes’ forces also had a weakness. After fighting for a long ti, they needed to return to the Spirit Palace to recharge their energy.

As ti passed, Captain Marx’s figure began to fade, and Officer Eleanor’s ntal Power network also started to waver.

Philip imdiately ordered: "Fall back and rest! Bring in the second wave!"

The heroes retreated like a tide, returning behind the city wall. The second wave of human familiar tars took over the defense.

But just as Logan was about to turn and leave, heading back to Snow Dragon City to take control of the situation, the right wing of Saint Heart City suddenly ca under attack again.

Garen City Lord’s shocked voice rang out: "Logan, the right wing is detecting a high energy reading—at least thirty-five stars!"

Logan turned to look at the right wing. The sky there was completely covered in darkness, and five figures slowly erged from the black fog.

The first was General Lol—but he was no longer the one Logan had known.

His body was an unnatural gray-black color. Black patterns flowed across his skin. His eye sockets burned with two dark flas. In his hand, he held a long blade completely made of shadow energy.

General Lol spoke, his voice chanical and emotionless: "This is the land I lived in before I died? I just want to drag it down to hell with ."

Behind him, the other four figures also appeared.

General Sean no longer had a Spirit Palace shadow behind him. Instead, a twisted Ghost Palace stood there. From inside ca ghosts corrupted by shadow energy.

General Duerer was surrounded by black "Soul Bond" runes. Each rune gave off a suffocating pressure.

General Solomon had his hands raised. Sixty-four "Deceit Light Gates" opened in mid-air, each pouring out dark energy.

General Xavier’s fists were covered in black crystals. Each of his breaths released dark mist.

Five Federation generals, mbers of the Military Committee, had all been turned into thirty-five-star star-puppets by the Shadow.

They stood in the center of the battlefield, their presence making the air thick and heavy.

With every trembling of General Lol’s shadow blade, black cracks appeared in space.

Behind Sean’s Ghost Palace shadow, countless twisted faces cried out in pain. They were fragnts of hero souls polluted by shadow energy.

General Duerer raised his hand. Black runes, like chains, wrapped around his body. Each rune was connected to a rebel soldier. He could use their lives to power up his attacks at any ti.

General Solomon opened all sixty-four light gates at once. Inside, only pure darkness remained. Any attack entering the gates was swallowed completely.

General Xavier’s feet caused the ground to crystallize. Black crystals spread like vines, withering plants and leaving the soil lifeless in their path.

The battlefield fell into an eerie silence. Even the charging rebel soldiers stopped, as if waiting for the generals’ orders.

On the city wall, General Darwin’s face was pale. His hands, gripping the railing, turned white from the pressure: "Lol... Sean... How could they...?"

"It’s the Shadow’s secret art." Logan said coldly. "She intercepted the generals’ soul fragnts before us and reshaped them with shadow energy, raising them to thirty-five stars. Now, their strength is even greater than mine."

Darwin asked urgently: "What about our previous plan to lure them in?"

"Continue it." Logan cut in. "But the target has changed. It’s not the Snow Dragon anymore. It’s these five generals."

Natalia turned sharply: "You an we’re going to use the Death God of Love nuclear bomb on them?"

"It’s our only chance." Logan said seriously. "Against thirty-five-star power, we have no chance in a direct fight. But the nuclear bomb’s area attack can hit all of them at once."

Natalia argued: "But that will also hit our own forces!"

"So we need to calculate precisely." Logan said, bringing up a tactical map and quickly marking coordinates. "Point X-734, Y-892, five kiloters from the wall. That’s an abandoned industrial area. No civilians, open ground. The nuclear fallout can be controlled there."

Natalia’s face turned pale. "But our forces are still fighting over there..."

Darwin’s voice ca through the radio, mixed with explosions: "Understood. A crazy plan. This ti, let the old guys handle the trap."

Natalia hurriedly said: "Old man, are you crazy?"

"It might be the only way. I’m joining too." Logan said, cutting in before General Darwin could refuse. "Compared to destroying the Federation, the five generals are after . If I go with you, they will definitely follow."

Darwin stayed silent for a few seconds, then his voice turned firm. "I see. I’ll adjust the plan. But Logan, you must promise—our group can die, but you must survive."

"I will. We’ll all survive." Logan said, but before his voice even finished, he had already floated to Darwin’s side. "Get the others. Let’s go."

Darwin looked at Logan and reminded him: "There’s one more thing. The Death God of Love nuclear bomb doesn’t explode instantly. It needs ten seconds to charge, and during that ti, it releases a high concentration of life energy. Shadow puppets are very sensitive to it. They might notice at the last mont and try to run away."

"Then it’s a race. Who is faster?" Logan looked toward the battlefield, his eyes full of determination. "When it cos to speed, even the Shadow will lose."

"But you’re still hurt!" General Darwin frowned.

"The injury doesn’t matter." Logan said coldly.

With that, Logan turned to look behind him.

At that mont, Generals Monet, Philip, Dominic, and Claude appeared one by one.

General Monet stepped forward and patted Logan on the shoulder. "Kid, the grudge we old guys have, we’ll settle it ourselves. You save your strength. Your opponent isn’t these five idiots."

General Claude nodded and took out a cigarette, lighting it for himself. "When we act, just watch. We old guys might not be as good on the stage as you, but we know how to fight better than you."

Logan looked at them and wanted to say sothing, but General Darwin placed his hand on his shoulder first. "Kid, you’ve done enough."

Logan nodded seriously.

There was no need for more words.

They turned together and ran toward the distance.

The five shadow-transford generals sensed Logan’s movent and imdiately started chasing.

"Logan? You want to run away?" General Duerer’s voice was rough, and his eyes were burning with purple fire.

Logan let out a cold snort, and quietly used the Red Feather’s [Refraction] skill and [Space Sealing] to hide the presence of General Darwin and the others.

It wasn’t until Logan and the group reached their destination that he changed his shape and faced the five shadow generals directly: "Co on! Old guys! Let see what you’re made of!"

Logan landed in the center of the battlefield alone, facing the pressure from the five shadow generals.
