"Then I’ll be careful and try not to interact with it too much..." Lin Yi said.
Boss shook his head slightly, "Not necessarily."
"Oh? What do you an?" Lin Yi pursued.
Boss paused slightly, "If you are about to summon the Ark and set off soon, whether you interact with it or not doesn’t seem to make much difference. In fact... given your characteristics, perhaps it’s better to have so interaction with its breath first."
"Huh? Why?" Lin Yi was puzzled, about to speak when Tian Bufan’s voice suddenly echoed in his mind, "Boss is right."
"You’ve already encountered the ’Angel’s’ breath in the ’Ti Exile’, so now if you can co into contact with so sparse breaths, it’s like getting a vaccine; it can help you start ’adapting’ early. When we set sail, you’ll be facing its full might..."
"By that ti, it won’t just be the ’Angel’, but also... the ’Root’.
The ’Root’ is akin to a god over the whole world and the entire ti dinsion.
Lin Yi suddenly felt a gasp but nodded solemnly, "Okay, I understand."
"Alright." Boss said, taking a long step out of the Safety Passage, entering the vast Gymnasium Giant Do.
The Gymnasium’s auxiliary structure, ’Giant Do’, was still looking the sa old way, under the huge LED lights, green turf, vast tracks, and playground. The do wasn’t closed, resembling an oversized soccer field.
Inside the ’Giant Do’, the two-tiered platform was empty, only the three of them, entering it solitarily.
In the vast and silent Giant Do, a pin drop could be heard, the wind swirling around the do, despite being afternoon, gave an indescribable eerie feeling.
Lin Yi instinctively glanced at the ti on his watch.
14:06.
The delay through the Safety Passage had slowed them down sowhat.
As Lin Yi looked at his wrist, Boss’s attention was drawn, and he asked imdiately, "What ti is it?"
"14:06." Lin Yi answered truthfully.
However, for Boss’s question, Lin Yi was incredibly surprised; since enrolling, Boss was the only one who could see the watch on his wrist.
Li Huiyuan also glanced at Lin Yi’s wrist and widened her eyes, rubbing them in surprise, "Eh? Lin Linzi, how co you have a semi-transparent watch? It’s odd, you seed to have it before, but I couldn’t see it then?"
Previously overlooking, Li Huiyuan now seed capable of seeing Lin Yi’s watch, though in her eyes, it wasn’t quite ’concretized’.
"Yes, there’s a watch." Lin Yi nodded.
"It should be the ’Ti Compass’ dial, the other parts are in the Library." Boss seed to know it like the back of his hand.
Listening to Lin Yi and Boss’s conversation, Li Huiyuan silently puffed her cheeks, feeling a bit resentful inside.
So infuriating, what on earth are they talking about...
She actually wanted to join the conversation but found it challenging to naturally interject into their apparently coded dialogue.
"Don’t be disheartened, little platypus." Lin Yi gently patted Li Huiyuan’s shoulder, comforting, "You’ll know everything eventually."
"Ow!" Li Huiyuan pouted unhappily, suddenly flaring up, "Who’s calling who platypus?! How dare you compare the lovely Huihuizi with a platypus?!"
Boss folded her arms, watching the two, a hint of elusive envy flashed in her beautiful golden eyes, she cleared her throat and said, "Alright, stop fooling around, listen to my final points before starting to run."
"Especially you, Lin Yi."
Both imdiately quieted down upon hearing, like two students nad by the teacher.
Seeing this, Boss continued, "Lin Yi, this should be the last training I give you."
"Over the past few days, I’ve noticed your position recovering constantly. Each ti you recover from near-death, your upper limit increases slightly, and the closer you approach the limit when near-death, the greater the improvent after recovery..."
"So this ti, I’ll have you feel death within the maximum extent I can pull you back."
Boss’s calm words gave Lin Yi a sense of facing a death surgeon.
Lin Yi asked, "Can just running lead to a near-death state? Or do you... need to kick ?"
Boss always wore pure black yoga pants, with two sky-blue lines symbolizing Sports Student’s identity along the thigh’s outer side. Lin Yi’s gaze slowly landed on Boss’s feet following her nearly perfect line.
This ti, Boss wore stacked cotton socks beneath a pair of pure white running shoes.
Suddenly, Lin Yi seed to think of sothing, his gaze returned to Boss’s yoga pants.
"Hmm? These don’t seem like yoga pants?"
He then noticed that Boss wore pants similar to tight yoga pants but actually resembled more special fabric...
"This fabric, it’s like the uniform horoom teacher wears close to the body...?"
