Riven wasn’t sure about what this Lucifer was saying. There was a lot he didn’t understand, but he could tell that this man wasn’t soone he could just do whatever he wanted with, so he decided to go along.

"I’ll do what you want," Riven said.

"That’s a good answer," Lucifer said and snapped his fingers, and a chair appeared behind Riven and a force pulled him down into the chair.

Lucifer also got a chair and sat down. He snapped his fingers again and a cup of tea appeared in Riven’s hand and in his own hand.

Riven stared at the steaming tea. "Isn’t it too hot in hell for tea?" he asked.

"Oh, is it? I’ve gotten so used to it I can barely tell. I think this is one of the coldest periods here," he said before snapping his fingers and turning it into an iced tea for Riven.

"Now, before I tell you how to get back, I’ll have to tell you a few things first. You are in hell because you, Riven, aren’t a good person.

Your soul consists of so much guilt that it blocks you from the stream of reincarnation. When soone carries so much weight and regret before they die, they’ll co to hell, tornted by the mistakes they have made.

You, Riven, carry a lot on your heart. You try to bury it, but there is a lot that you regret. That’s why you ca to hell imdiately," Lucifer said.

"So how do I fix that?" Riven asked.

"Purpose. A man with purpose is not tied down by anything; he only goes after his goal with all that he can. You have no purpose. It looks like you do, but you do not.

So why don’t I give you a purpose, Riven, a goal, sothing that you should strive toward and that way, you’ll live a life that can be fulfilling," Lucifer said.

"You want to get purpose from the devil?" Riven asked.

"Don’t allow what you know about from your world to block your eyes from seeing the truth. I don’t tell lies. I don’t trick anyone. I only utilize the truth to get what’s needed at any given ti.

And right now, the truth is you need purpose, one that I can give to you. If you do what I need you to do, you can leave here and return to your life, rather than serve an eternal punishnt here in hell," Lucifer said.

"And why ? Why have you decided that I should be the one to do this?" Riven asked.

"Because you are the anomaly that breaks the flow, sothing that shouldn’t be. You can do things no one else can. There are things I can’t tell you, Riven, but I want you to understand that this is not so sort of random pick. There is a purpose," Lucifer said.

"Fine, I understand. Tell what it is that you need to do," Riven asked.

"Stop the demons and kill the Demon Lord," he said. His words stunned Riven.

"Aren’t the demons your creation?" he asked.

"My creations, yes. But they have taken a path that wasn’t supposed to be. Humanity and other races have always been at war, especially against the demons. But now, for so reason, the demons are experinting on ancient magic.

That magic is tapping into other worlds, specifically a world that has a devil stronger than , and his own hell has overrun his world. And now that King of Devils wishes to co to this world.

If the demons are not stopped, they’ll destroy our world as well by allowing devils from another world to co here.

I need you, Riven, to kill the Demon Lord. Take him down and destroy his plans entirely," Lucifer said.

"Devils from another world... could that be the world that I have been seeing? Could it be that the system, the Iron Maiden, and Twilight ca from that world?" Riven thought. His mind raced all around. He took a deep breath and cald down. He sipped his iced tea and looked at Lucifer.

"What about Lance? I know you know he is the chosen of Lumis already," Riven said.

"Lumis? That goddess doesn’t know what she is doing. Lance might be capable, but I doubt it. And so, I want you. You are a far better bet than that kid," Lucifer said.

"I see. So for to make it back to the land of the living, I have to agree to fight against the demons. Fine. I also want to stop them, and I will," Riven said. He sipped the tea again and then looked at Lucifer.

"Where is Noel?" he asked. His deanor suddenly changed and turned cold.

"Hehehehe, I knew it was coming. I was wondering why you didn’t ask about your brother," Lucifer said. He sipped his tea and dropped the cup with a smile.

"So where is he? Is he still alive?" Riven asked.

"Oh no, that stab went right through his heart. He’s dead," Lucifer said. Riven imdiately frowned, knowing that this was his fault and he had watched his brother die.

"Where did he go? Heaven or hell?" Riven asked.

"He isn’t anywhere yet. Your brother is on the road to judgnt, and when he passes through, his fate will be known," Lucifer said.

"Bring him back to life," Riven said. His words made Lucifer smile.

"That’s not possible," Lucifer said.

"Then I’ll not do whatever you ask," Riven said.

"Hmm? So you’ll throw away your chance at life and live in hell because of him?" Lucifer asked.

"Do you really believe that I can continue to live if Noel isn’t there? Can I look myself in the mirror? I’d rather burn here in hell than live without him," Riven said.

"Hahahahaha, you are a wild one. But I respect your love for your brother. And I’ll tell you this, there is also a way to get your brother back, but there is a price for it. Are you willing to pay?"
