Tang Lishen could no longer hold back his impatience and began speaking again, his voice carrying the sa confidence as before. "Master... should I go tomorrow and personally bring that filth here—"

But before he could even finish the sentence, an overwhelming spiritual pressure descended upon him. It ca without warning, pressing down from every direction at once, forcing the air out of his lungs and driving him straight to his knees. Blood spilt from his mouth as the force tore through his body, his ridians trembling under the weight of it. He tried instinctively to resist, to circulate his qi, but the difference in their strength was absolute.

Then the pressure moved inward, crushing directly into his dantian. In that instant, sothing inside him shattered. His foundation, the very core that gathered and nourished his spiritual energy, collapsed completely. When he forced his senses inward to confirm what had happened, he found nothing there—no flow of qi, no spiritual container, only emptiness.

His dantian had been destroyed. His body shook violently as the realisation sank in. He had never known such pain in his entire life. Before he could even form another thought, darkness overtook him and he fell forward.

Junior Brother!" Luo Yan dashed forward without hesitation. As Tang Lishen collapsed, she lunged to catch him before he hit the ground. His blood stained her sleeves as she held him upright, her heart pounding fiercely. She had anticipated anger from their master, maybe punishnt or even confinent—but this was different. The destruction of his foundation, and all without a single warning.

Her spiritual sense imdiately invaded his body, searching desperately for signs of suppression, clinging to the hope that it was only temporary. But what she sensed made her breath catch in her throat—there was nothing left. His dantian was shattered beyond repair. At this mont, Tang Lishen had already lost consciousness, his body limp in her arms.

"Master... You’ve ruined Junior Brother’s dantian," Luo Yan whispered in disbelief, her voice trembling. She looked toward Han iyu, seeking an explanation, anger barely contained.

"Without even giving him a chance to correct himself?," she demanded, her voice rising.

Han iyu’s expression remained cold and unyielding. "This is my final decision," she said with chilling detachnt. "Tang Lishen is no longer my personal disciple." Her eyes flicked briefly to the unconscious young man in Luo Yan’s embrace.

"You have only one day to throw him away from this mountain peak into the outer sect courtyard."

Luo Yan clenched her fists around Tang Lishen’s blood-soaked robes, fighting back the urge to argue. She wanted to defend him, to plead for rcy on his behalf. Anger burned fiercely within her chest, yet she suppressed it. Everyone in the sect knew Han iyu’s reputation. Her na was whispered warily across the continent—not because she was patient or kind, but because she was deadly ruthless. She had crushed enemies with her bare hands, annihilated entire factions without hesitation. To oppose her decision now would only worsen the situation, no one dared to oppose her once Han iyu’s will was set.

With a shimring mixture of anger and grief burning fiercely within her chest, Luo Yan lowered her head.

"As you wish, Master."

Han iyu did not respond further, whatever anger had surfaced earlier had already turned into cold resolve. Without hesitation, she rose from her seat and headed toward the hall’s exit.

Pausing briefly at the doorway, she cast a quick glance back. Lin Feng imdiately bowed deeply, his monts stiff and awkward under her Stern gaze. He avoided her eyes, uncertain whether to feel satisfaction or uneasy about what had just happened.

Han iyu turned away and walked out, leaving a heavy silence behind her.

After Han iyu left, Luo Yan remained kneeling on the floor, still clutching Tang Lishen in her arms. She poured her spiritual energy into his body, desperately trying to stabilise his shattered ridians and internal injuries. Yet, despite her efforts, the truth remained unchanged. No matter how much she tried, she could not undo what had been destroyed. His spiritual container was gone. Without it, even if his body healed, his cultivation journey was over.

anwhile, Lin Feng stood a short distance away, torn between stepping forward or staying silent. He watched Luo Yan intently. Tang Lishen had fallen completely–his cultivation shattered, his status stripped away, and his place within the inner sect erased in a single mont. Such a fall in the cultivation world was irreversible. Without a dantian, he was no different from an ordinary mortal. No, even lower. A mortal could still dream. But Tang Lishen had already tasted power and lost it all. To Lin Feng, that ant one thing: Tang Lishen was no longer a competition

Sister Luo Yan..." he began, lowering his voice as if sharing her grief.

Luo Yan ignored him completely, her eyes focused on Tang Lishen’s breathing, ensuring it remained stable.

Lin Feng stepped closer. "It’s unfortunate, but Junior Brother brought this upon himself. You shouldn’t bla yourself."

The mont those words reached Luo Yan’s ears, sothing in her snapped. As Lin Feng moved closer and reached out to her shoulder, intending to offer comfort, Luo Yan suddenly stiffened, She shoved his hand away with force.

"Don’t touch ."

"You think I don’t see it?" she pressed on, rising to her feet while still supporting Tang Lishen’s weight. "You think I didn’t notice your expression when he fell?"

Lin Feng frowned slightly. "I was only trying to—"

She cut him off sharply. "Trying to what? Replace him?"

Her eyes blazed. "You were satisfied, you’ve been waiting for this, haven’t you?"

Lin Feng’s face stiffened. "That’s not true—"

"Shut up," she cut him off, voice sharp. "He may have been arrogant and foolish, but he was still our junior brother."

Her fingers tightened around Tang Lishen’s robe. "And you stand there pretending to comfort ?"

"If you think his fall gives you the right to step closer to , you’re more disgusting than I thought."

Lin Feng instinctively took a step back.

"If you touch again," she said coldly, "I swear I will cripple you myself."

With that, she turned and stord out of the hall, carrying Tang Lishen with her, leaving Lin Feng alone in stunned silence.

Only after she vanished did Lin Feng’s expression darken, shadowed with regret and anger.
