Vincent was tempted to go over to Graham’s house to strangle the man but the thought of seeing his uncle be killed by the sa creatures he killed his brother with was holding him back.

Vincent never had that emotion of wanting sothing from Victor so badly that he would feel the need to kill his flesh and blood. How greedy do you have to be to kill your own brother and then feel no remorse to try poisoning your nephew after?

He was a little annoyed that his father had not dealt with Graham instead of seeing the goodness that did not exist. If Victor were to ever be a threat to Aurora or their children, as much as he loved his brother he would choose to protect Aurora and the children.

His father didn’t have to kill Graham. Locking him away sowhere would have been enough or simply not fighting beside the man who could point his sword at you.

"I can’t believe I am going to be the wife of the leader. All my friends doubted but look where we are heading. This is great," Vincent listened to Cecilia clapping her hands excitedly.

"I should break them," Vincent thought of the punishnt for Cecilia.

"Vincent," Derek whispered as he entered the library. He left for a mont to inform Jane everything was alright and to keep the children safe. The downside of people thinking Vincent was on his way out was reckless behavior.

Those who didn’t like humans living here might try to use this opportunity to go after them.

"I told the n to keep an eye on Marge and your uncle on my way back here. It seems Marge is already eting with the other elders. All your enemies are going to start popping up one by one. What’s happening here?" Derek asked, looking at the inside of Graham’s ho. "It’s starting to look blurry."

"The witch said it would stop working after a while if I don’t use the person’s blood or sothing along that line. I will call for the witches soon. I am waiting to hear when he will et up with the vampires." Once Vincent learned that he would have no use for the spying spell.

"I see. Let know when you want them to drop by. The workers are doing a good job at keeping your actual health a secret. Seems like we only had one mole but I won’t allow them to leave just in case. Honestly, should we get rid of all your enemies one ti?" Derek suggested.

Derek didn’t like the constant checking up on Vincent’s enemies because it was too much work and as he was close to Vincent these sa people target him.

"I will be getting rid of all of them but the main focus will be on my uncle. He will be coming to see tomorrow. Hand pick a small group for when my uncle leaves. When he goes on another trip, the n attack the vampire’s castle. Be quick about it and get away as soon as you capture their attention," said Vincent.

"I should go because it will be dangerous but I would need to find a way to cover my scent," Vincent had fought the vampires so much they would pick up on his scent in their castle. "I need my scent covered until we reach the castle. I will need the witches for that."

"Tomorrow will be a full moon. It will make us more powerful than vampires. We have to make sure he leaves to visit them tomorrow. You would need to be declared dead for him to run back to the vampires," Derek said. He didn’t know what kind of deal Graham made with the vampires but reporting Vincent’s death would be worth a trip to inform those creatures.

"Then I shall be declared dead by morning. As much as I don’t want to make Victor go through the emotions that he has lost another family mber. His not knowing anything will make it more believable to everyone. I’m afraid you are not a good actor Derek-"

"What the hell? I pulled off that speech to Victor so perfectly that I was thinking of becoming an actor. You’re just jealous of my skills. I should quit here and start my new career," Derek started thinking of the possibility of being an actor but then he realized how much work that would be. "Never mind."

"You said your little speech in a monotone voice like you didn’t care I was on my deathbed. Maybe I should’ve kept you out of the loop and inford Victor of what I was doing. Those two little humans would have been better. Why am I always stuck with you?" Vincent wondered. They were polar opposites when it ca to working.

"You know you secretly love , Vincent. I am the only person to put up with your personality for so long out of all your friends. I am around you more than your own brother," Derek clapped his hand like he proved his point.

"You work for , Derek," Vincent reminded the delusional man. "It’s obvious you would be here more than Victor. Just know that I will never hire you to act again. Go keep a look out for anyone unwanted coming near my ho."

"Geez, would it hurt you to give a complint on my skills? I should have listened to everyone else when they said you would give crazy but no, I had to feel bad for the quiet kid. If only I could go back in ti," Derek said out loud so Vincent could hear every word.

Vincent paid no attention to Derek’s rambling and went back to listening to what Graham and Cecilia were talking about. The image was becoming blurrier by the second but he was hoping to catch sothing important before it would disappear.

"Why does it sll like Vincent here?" Graham asked after sniffing the air. At first, he thought it was his imagination but then he continued to sll the faint scent of Vincent. "Cecilia? Don’t try to walk away from ?"

"A good show," Vincent stated, picking up his drink from the desk to enjoy this mont.

"Ugh, I forgot to tell you that before all of this Vincent dying ss he was here to visit our ho. I swear we only talked and I gave him a tour," Cecilia shyly admitted. She forgot to use sothing to cover Vincent’s scent.

Graham positioned his hands as if he wanted to choke Cecilia. "Explain to , woman, why would you let that man into our ho? Has it ever occurred to you that the only reason he ca here was to look for sothing? How clueless are you?"

"I kept my eyes on him the entire ti except when soone ca knocking at the door," the words left Cecilia’s mouth slowly as she realized she was tricked. "Listen, you cannot bla this on . I was ho all alone and freaking out. Clearly, this is a day you should have been at ho."

"The smart thing to do would have been to send him away. I leave ho for business and you had the nerve to let Vincent in here. I’m sure all the neighbors saw him coming in here and when they try to piece together what happened to him the visit here will be brought out," Graham turned away from Cecilia to avoid hitting her. He always had to be the one thinking carefully.

"Well excuse for not being able to predict the future and know he would be poisoned. I said I was freaking out Graham. It’s not every day Vincent cos to visit and I was all alone. Admit you would have let him in too. Say it, say it," Cecilia repeated over and over.

"I can deal with Vincent but you cannot. He must have been onto us about sothing for him to co here. Tell quickly what the two of you talked about." Graham knew had he not asked about the sll she would have never said anything about Vincent’s visit. How careless could his wife honestly get?

"We just ntioned it’s his first ti there since we got married, where you were but I said nothing, and how he would like to go on a trip with you for the both of you to bond again. I honestly thought it was a harmless visit since he didn’t stay too long to take a look at anything. Why are we focusing on this when he is going to die any minute?"

After a small pause, Graham replied, "You’re right but if this visit of his puts us as suspects I am leaving you to deal with it. Rember, if this deal with the vampires does not work out I promised them you. Start thinking carefully unless you want to-"

The image went black before Vincent could hear or see anything but as of this mont, he had heard enough.

"What a fool you are dear uncle," Vincent grinned.
