Regina was beyond shocked to hear her father would have her mother dragged out if she didn’t go willing. There has to be more to their feud than just him wanting to protect his daughter. Regina how many tis have they argued about Samuel for it to reach this extent.
Rachel was just as shocked as Regina that Nathaniel would order a servant to drag her and lock her away. "Have you lost your mind? I am your wife! I deserve to be respected and not ordered to be locked away. Do you know how fast word of this will spread?"
Nathaniel ignored her words and looked at the male worker who stood unsure of if he should touch Rachel. "Why on earth are you just standing there when I have given you a clear order? Take her away from this instance or you will be fired."
’You’re scaring the workers,’ is what Regina wanted to tell her father but she did not want to get caught up in whatever was happening between the two. Her mother already wanted her head for telling Minnie.
"I will not be moving nor will I be dragged away from here. Now is when you want to act like a man? When you want to embarrass your wife!"
"I’m only doing this because you won’t think rationally. You should just stay out of Minnie’s way but you have this obsession to compete with her. Now that you have Samuel caught up in your ss you should apologize for his sake. Continue to sit quietly like you always have," said Nathaniel.
He had been working on his own way of getting rid of Minnie without her noticing. No one knew his mother better than he did therefore no one else should go after her but Rachel never listened to him.
"Regina, go to your room and I will speak with you later." Nathaniel didn’t want Regina to continue to witness this argunt. He should have rembered her presence and sent her away earlier.
"Okay," Regina replied, not wanting to be there either way. Each ti she peaked at her mother the woman sent her a death glare. The mission of pissing off her mother was accomplished.
"She’s the reason why we are in this position and yet you are babying her. She opened up her mouth and told Minnie all for what? As payback for losing that wine shop? I told you to not allow her to work," Rachel started walking toward Regina now that she moved from behind Nathaniel but he didn’t allow her to get close to her.
"When are you going to stop Rachel? We can be like this to everyone else but not our children! For the last ti, stay quiet-"
"I have been quiet from the day we t up until now. I have allowed your mother to talk down to and you do nothing to help. I am tired of staying quiet. I don’t care to keep my mouth closed anymore. I am tired of being your mother’s puppet," Rachel twirled the ring on her finger, almost tempted to take it off.
"Put one of your other houses in my na and I will stay there peacefully. I rather go there than be a prisoner here. I won’t try to talk to your mother until she has forgiven but I will not apologize. She didn’t when she tried to kill . Or have you forgotten when she wanted to kill ?"Asked Rachel.
’We’re seriously just a family looking to kill each other,’ Regina thought before leaving the area for good.
Though the conversation between her parents was interesting she did not want to be there any longer. It was weird how she understood the point of both sides. Her mother grew tired of being told what to do by Minnie and her father wanted to be cautious as he knew Minnie better than everyone else did.
"They might pass the point of understanding each other with a simple conversation explaining their feelings. It is better for if they bicker with each other. They won’t have tunnel vision on ssing with . Good," Regina liked everyone being against each other.
Regina made it back to her bedroom and locked the door behind her. As normal these past couple of hours, she went straight to her closest to continue practicing things from the book.
There was one thing she mastered and wished to show Esralda but the woman was not showing up recently. Inside the closet were so of Regina’s old dolls laid out on the floor. "Rise," she ordered them.
Hearing her command, the dolls sat up like little children now waking up from a nap.
"I’m the true puppet master," Regina grinned looking down at her creations. "If I can get bigger dolls to use, I can have them protect . They won’t die as easily as humans do," she confird when she poked a needle in the doll but the doll wasn’t affected by it.
anwhile, with no visitors, Vincent sat in the library watching his uncle who had returned ho and was talking to his wife. Thanks to Graham being a person who loved to drink there was always a glass around.
Vincent was able to listen to Graham and Cecilia talk about how his current state was a good opportunity for them. Graham and Cecilia definitely deserved each other. They both sought after things that did not belong to them.
"I will visit his ho in the morning-"
"Why not now?" Cecilia interrupted Graham. "Won’t it look weird if you take so long to visit when you know there is sothing wrong with him? You have to play the role of the perfect uncle."
"It won’t look good if I go right away because many people know Vincent and I did not get along well. They might think I am only visiting to see if I can steal away being the leader. The morning is a better choice," said Graham.
"Victor will be coming back later. What if he asks you to go with him? You need to have a talk with Victor about if he would want to beco the leader. He told not but he might be lying. Who doesn’t want to beco a leader? Only a fool wouldn’t. Victor might get in your way."
"They speak as if I have been declared dead and now she wants to plot on Victor." Vincent had not been certain how much he was going to punish Cecilia for her involvent but now, his mind was made up.
"Victor does not wish to beco the leader. That kind of responsibility has never been for soone as carefree as him and he would only consider it if it’s Vincent’s last dying wish. He will be vulnerable these days because of Vincent so it won’t be hard for us to convince him that I am more fit to beco the leader."
"There’s just one thing you are forgetting, Graham. The person who becos the next leader must be an alpha and the last ti it did not choose you. Victor could magically beco the alpha or that woman could be carrying Vincent’s child by now. This won’t be easy." Cecilia only now realized they had more to deal with after Vincent’s death.
"If that woman is pregnant she won’t live for much longer to give birth to it. My sources told she had fled the community right before everyone heard the news of Vincent’s health. We can use her to bla for the state of Vincent," Graham grinned, enjoying how everything was falling into place.
"Your first order as a leader should be to have the hunt again and use those two little children as our prey. It’s been a while since I last hunted a human. Can you imagine how much others would pay to join the hunt? We’ll be loaded if we start kidnapping more humans," Cecilia’s eyes twinkled thinking about the money.
Graham was just as excited as Cecilia until he thought of his deal with the vampires. If they were to lend him their help, he was to give them access to the community when he beca the leader. So of the vampires wanted wolf children to be used as pets.
The people here would hate him for working with vampires but by that point, he wouldn’t care.
"When the vampires find out what has happened to Vincent they will send for to confirm they will gain entry into this place. I have to finish up things here quickly before I go and see them again."
Vincent smiled upon hearing the words he had been waiting for. He always knew his uncle was working with vampires and now he heard it out of his uncle’s mouth. "What a fool," he muttered.
Graham was delusional in thinking the vampires would allow him to stay leader if he let them enter the community. The vampires would make all werewolves in the community their slaves.
The mont vampires enter the community a war would break out and many innocent people would die.
Vincent’s claws grew out of anger at the need to kill Graham for his actions.
