“I apologize, Deputy Director Donald, I admit I didn’t consider all aspects of the case thoroughly, but now I feel like things might not necessarily develop in a bad direction…”
“What do you an?”
“Deputy Director Donald, what do you think would be the reaction if we could catch Rodrigozki now?”
“The current public opinion is unfavorable to us. Many are waiting to laugh at our Internal Revenue Service. If you could catch Rodrigozki now, especially while he is still in Bear Country, both your personal reputation and the prestige of our IRS would increase significantly. However, on the other hand, he is now within Bear Country, and as you know, our relationship with Bear Country isn’t the best, catching him is nearly impossible.”
“Deputy Director Donald, I think there might be a way, as long as we find the thod…”

Donald was silent for a while before replying, “Alright, since you believe you have a way, I choose to trust you. However, your personal safety must also be guaranteed. I’ve already dispatched a squad from the California Ard Departnt to protect you until this matter is settled.”
“Okay, understood, Deputy Director Donald.”
At Washington D.C. Headquarters, after hanging up the phone, Donald imdiately returned to the eting room where, upon his entry, he heard almost everyone agreeing on a course of action and he imdiately said, “I’ve arranged for the Ard Departnt personnel to protect David. What’s the situation now?”
“Deputy Director Donald, we’ve discussed it and decided to ask for a little help from the CIA. We’re looking to see if we can take out Rodrigozki directly in Bear Country, that seems to be the best approach right now.”
Capturing him was too difficult; having CIA operatives eliminate Rodrigozki would likely have a higher success rate. Besides, Rodrigozki wasn’t an important person in Bear Country, so taking him out probably wouldn’t provoke a significant response from the Bear Country officials.
“This might resolve the bounty threat on David, but it doesn’t seem to serve as much of a deterrent…”
Hearing Donald’s words, Rohan retorted discontentedly, “Managing to resolve the bounty threat and preventing the IRS from losing face is already good enough, what deterrent effect are you still hoping for?”
“Here’s the thing, everyone. I just spoke with David, and he said there might be a way to catch Rodrigozki. If we can actually catch him, not only will it serve as a deterrent, but it will also elevate the authority of the IRS!”
Upon hearing Donald’s words, many in the room were visibly stirred.
Simply taking out Rodrigozki would only help maintain the IRS’s dignity from crumbling; strictly speaking, it would still be quite embarrassing since assassinations are generally viewed as dishonorable.
But if they could capture him and even bring him to trial, that would be extraordinary.

As everyone was indulging in wishful thinking, Rohan’s scoff cut through the room, “That sounds too easy. Rodrigozki is in Bear Country now. You’re already finding it difficult just to take him out, and you’re thinking of capturing and bringing him back to Arica? It’s pure fantasy!”
Upon hearing this, the other senior officials ca to their senses.
Indeed, no matter how capable David was, Rodrigozki was currently in Bear Country – what could possibly be done to bring him back?

“He said he can’t explain it over the phone right now as the situation is urgent, and he needs to start making arrangents. He’ll inform us once there’s sothing tangible.”
Donald’s response left the senior officials sowhat speechless.
And Donald continued, “I think although there are difficulties, if he dares to make such a claim, then he must have so confidence. How about we let him try? After all, if he succeeds, then the IRS will greatly benefit from the enhanced prestige, and if he fails, we can simply follow your suggestion and let the CIA take action.”
