As a quintessential Los Angeles film, "La La Land" naturally had its premiere in Los Angeles.
Before the premiere, the film's publicity focused on one the — Martin Davis's first ti singing on the big screen.
The first ti in life always leads to endless daydreams, especially drawing public attention.
On the day of the premiere, the fans who ca to the Los Angeles Music Center were no fewer than for Martin's other film debuts.
Besides the main creative team, Taylor Swift, who happened to be in Los Angeles, accepted Martin's invitation to co cheer at the premiere.
Walking down the long red carpet, Taylor looked at the crazed fans on both sides wearing red Cola Culture t-shirts and suddenly felt an inexplicable mystical power floating in the air.
Was this the power of faith?
Of course, she didn't know that at the Atlanta Cola Cult Headquarters, High Priest Robert was praying.
Muttering to herself, Taylor ca to the dia area and generously showcased her long legs and beautiful back.
Martin was already in the dia area for an interview when the host imdiately pulled Taylor over.
"This film features quite a few singing scenes by the male lead." The host looked at Taylor and loudly asked Martin, "You're friends with Taylor, did you consult her?"
Martin said earnestly, "Of course, I did. Early in the film's preparation, I specifically went to Nashville to consult Taylor on many singing-related issues. She helped solve a lot of problems. If it wasn't for her attentive guidance, I couldn't have perford so well in the film."
The host then asked Taylor, "What do you think of Martin as a student?"
Taylor said with a smile, "Martin is very talented in singing. He picks up many techniques quickly. I think he should consider a career in music. Maybe we could see a new pop king."
Apart from the mutual promotion, Taylor also had sothing concrete to say, "I'm planning to invite Martin as a guest for my next tour."
This piece of news was bound to draw attention. The host asked, "Is that true?"
Taylor gave Martin a very peculiar look.
Martin got the ssage, after all, he had already been a special performing guest at Taylor's concerts.
This year's Taylor's New York concert was called a classic by her fans. After Taylor's mid-concert performance, the quality did not drop, but maintained a high standard.
Martin said, "Of course, I accepted Taylor's invitation."
The brief interview ended, and Martin and Taylor left the dia area together to enter the theater.
As they walked, Taylor said, "It would be great if you could co to every concert."
Martin shrugged, "You're busy, and I'm busy too, but I can attend occasionally."
"Ah, if only you could stay by my side," Taylor suddenly had an idea, edging closer to Martin and speaking in a hushed tone, "How about this, before my next tour starts, we find a week to spend together."
Martin had a bad feeling and asked, "Taylor, what are you up to?"
Taylor blinked innocently, saying, "I'm not up to anything, I just want to keep my voice in shape, and only you can help with that."
Her thod was simple, "A week's ti can extract a lot, and then I'll refrigerate...no, I rember there's a freezing technology to preserve vitality. I'll freeze it and take so during the mid-concert costu change."
Martin thought, are you planning on being a super juicer?
"This way, problems can be perfectly solved!" Taylor was very particular about things. Seeing Martin's odd expression, she said, "I understand! I understand! Taking your key substance definitely requires a price. I'll bring a bunch of sisters to join in the juicing process, and in exchange, all my places will be open to you. How's that?"
Martin could imdiately give Taylor sothing to soothe her throat, but the idea of her taking it away to freeze was out of the question. He flatly refused, "Are you trying to kill ? A week's ti would kill a person. Let's just do it at the scene."
Taylor was smart and grasped Martin's concern right away, "Eat from the top, not from below, don't be scared."
Martin, having been through the DNA paternity scandal, was very cautious with such matters and said, "I'm not worried about you, but about other people."
Taylor had no choice but to say, "Fine, I'll send a plane to pick you up for the most important concerts."
Both of them entered the VIP room together.
At that mont, Director Damien Chazelle found Martin and said, "Let's talk for a mont."
Taylor imdiately let go of Martin's arm, "I saw a friend."
Once she left, Damien Chazelle asked Martin, "How about the 'Whiplash' project?"
It was because of this short film that he caught Martin's attention and eventually beca the director of "La La Land."
Martin, who always kept his word, said, "I've asked the studio to prepare the materials and set up the relevant workshop. After the 'La La Land' publicity period ends, we can start preparing 'Whiplash.'"
He then asked, "Do you need so ti off?"
"No need." Damien said, "I've rested too much already."
Martin reminded him, "You only have a 10 million US Dollar budget, so plan well."
Damien nodded and soon went elsewhere.
Recently acquainted Director Denis Villeneuve approached him, asking, "All good?"
Damien smiled, "Very smooth. Martin... how to put it, he's quite reputable."
Villeneuve said, "Although he sotis likes to ddle with the choices for the film's lead actress and important supporting actresses, when he makes a promise, he never breaks it and doesn't interfere with the shooting. I like working with investors and producers like him."
