Bruce dissatisfiedly said, "Is that also what you think?"
Martin imdiately switched his phrasing, "If brute force is effective and saves effort, why bother with sothing too complicated?"
Bruce and Thomas simply stopped talking.
The costu designer ca over and said, "Martin, it's ti to put on the spacesuit."
"In July, the hottest season in Atlanta," Martin didn't need to go to the dressing room, he just slipped into the costu with the help of the costu designer, "Wearing such a thick costu is truly a treat."
The costu designer assisted Martin into the spacesuit and helped him put on the helt; even though the studio was equipped with central air conditioning, moving around a bit still resulted in sweat drenching his back.
Martin didn't say much else; after entering the set, he crawled into the specially designed multi-dinsional space as Nolan had requested.
The next scene to be fild was a monologue.
The male lead's guilt toward his daughter.
Such emotional expression was quite foreign to Martin, after all, he had no children in either his past or present life.
But Martin, being a good actor, could still adjust and find the appropriate emotions amidst the unfamiliarity.
After all, actors who play psychopaths are not necessarily psychopaths themselves.
After a few NGs, Martin cried his eyes out and finally t Nolan's requirents.
Taking advantage of the actors' heightened emotions, Nolan shot a dozen or so scenes in one go.
When Martin erged from the multi-dinsional space and took off the bulky spacesuit, he looked as if he had been fished out of water.
Martin hurried to rehydrate and cool down, while the makeup artist ca over to help him wipe off sweat and touch up his makeup.
Mackenzie Foy ran over from the other side and handed Martin an unopened popsicle, "This will cool you from the mouth to the stomach, try it."
"Thank you." Martin unwrapped it and took a bite, indeed feeling much better.
Not far away, Charlotte Kirk watched the scene with a mont of realization.
At such a young age, she knew to take initiative; indeed, actresses who wanted to make a na for themselves had to be proactive.
Watching Mackenzie Foy conversing with Martin in the resting area, Charlotte Kirk felt a pang of jealousy, looking around to see that no one was paying her any attention, she imdiately took out a pen and notebook and started making notes.
"Martin Davis has an unusual interest in the younger actresses, often spending his downti with young Mackenzie Foy, their relationship is suspect."
This notebook, Charlotte Kirk planned to hand over to Kevin Tsujihara back in Los Angeles, to prove to him that she had earned her role and was indeed paying attention to Martin.
Even though Kevin Tsujihara was a bit stingy, he was still the CEO and Chairman of Warner Bros., Charlotte had never thought of giving up this line of contact.
At the sa ti, she also planned to explore new battlegrounds.
Nolan was out of the question; during filming, his eyes were only on the work, he hardly paid attention to even his wife, Emma Thomas.
It was as if besides movies, nothing in the world could draw his attention.
Thus, Charlotte's gaze fell on Martin.
She originally planned to move slowly, but seeing Mackenzie Foy giving gifts directly, Charlotte felt she should be more direct.
On the other side, Nolan, after reviewing the footage, looked up and also saw Martin and Mackenzie Foy interacting, and he couldn't help but nod approvingly; good personal interactions between lead actors were conducive to shooting.
Especially since Martin and Mackenzie were playing father and daughter.
Nolan raised a finger.
The assistant director, Anderson, imdiately took out a pen and notebook and recorded the director's words: "During the filming, Martin established a good personal relationship with Mackenzie Foy, who plays his daughter; they are like a real father and daughter."
Nolan continued to concentrate on filming.
At 10:30 in the morning, Martin left the set early to return to his trailer to rest.
He wasn't so much tired as it was just too hot to film in the spacesuit.
Even though the crew used breathable materials, the thick spacesuit and mask could not prevent Martin, who was in excellent physical condition, from sweating profusely.
Back in his own trailer, Martin adjusted the air conditioning to a slightly higher temperature, then thodically rehydrated according to the health coach's plans.
Bruce ca over with a newspaper and handed it to Martin, "The final wrap-up."
Martin flipped to the entertainnt section and quickly skimd it; Atlanta Channel Six issued a statent that they had been defrauded by Paul, with solid evidence proving that the man was not homosexual, and he even had several ex-girlfriends in Moro Town, Atlanta.
The magic was physically beaten and utterly subdued, without anyone stepping out to refute, the matter was conclusively closed.
Bruce said, "There will still be people trying to ride your coattails."
Martin replied, "If they leech off in a normal way, let them be, as long as they don't cross the line."
Bruce nodded, "I'll keep an eye out." He then said, "Sophia sent a ssage asking if you are free tomorrow night. If you are, she would like to invite us to dinner."
Martin asked, "Where at?"
Bruce replied, "House of Beast."
Martin beca intrigued, "The very 'House of Beast' we left from?"
"That's the one." Bruce simply stated, "The shop has always been open, but tomorrow it will cater specifically to old friends like us."
Martin accepted, "Sure."
Bruce got out of the trailer to call Sophia, and noticed that from the diagonally opposite studio, the actress Charlotte Kirk stepped out and headed their way.
Charlotte was carrying a handbag and dressed in a beige sheath dress as she approached the trailer.
Seeing Bruce, she instinctively gripped her bag strap tighter, feeling a bit nervous, yet her face was all smiles as she waved at Bruce, "Hello, Old Cloth."
Bruce put away his phone, "Is there sothing you need, Miss Kirk?"
