"After the election of Miss Arica, Donnie's influence in Atlantic City just keeps on growing!" Nucky said to Louis, looking at the now closed door.
Louis nodded and replied, "But I know you must have a way to control Donnie, boss."
With a confident smile, Nucky said, "Do you know why I didn't ntion Harding's mistress to Donnie just now?"
Shaking his head, Louis answered, "No idea!"
Nucky, increasingly buoyant, continued, "Actually, I was testing Donnie. I wanted to see if he would bring it up on his own. If he had, I wouldn't let him continue with the Miss Arica project. But now he's been smart, not ntioning it. This shows that, at least for the ti being, he understands his place in Atlantic City!"
Louis nodded again.
At that mont, Lucy erged from the bedroom, exquisitely dressed.
"Are you going out?" Nucky asked as he saw Lucy dressed up.
With a huff, Lucy shot Nucky a glance and said, "I know when you got off the train, but look at what you've been doing ever since. I thought you would want to keep you company as soon as you got back to the hotel. Instead, you t with Donnie Block again. So I'm that unimportant in your heart, am I? Since that's the case, I might as well go out and alleviate so of my displeasure."
Nucky laughed and replied, "Are you holding it against ?"
"That's right!" Lucy confird.
Afterward, Lucy turned away with pride and left Nucky's office directly.
Watching Lucy's deanor, Nucky chuckled and shook his head without taking it to heart.

By the ti Donnie returned to The Fuli Tavern, it was already the afternoon, and there were already quite a few custors seated there.
Just like in the Block Tavern, people in the hall kept greeting Donnie.
"What does Nucky think about the general's situation?" Bruce asked as he joined Donnie in his office.
"We can put aside Nucky's affairs for now, he won't be suspecting us of anything anyti soon!"
Donnie slumped onto the sofa, his complexion sowhat pale.
Seeing Donnie's state, Bruce curiously inquired, "Why do you look like you've just been through a minor battle?"
Donnie waved his hand, saying, "A fierce battle!"
Bruce didn't understand what Donnie ant and didn't ask further. Instead, he queried, "So what do we do next?"
"Since Nucky won't be suspecting us for now, we should focus all our energy on the Miss Arica matter. If we can successfully handle it, it will be very beneficial for us," Donnie said.
Throwing his hands up, Bruce replied, "If that's the case, then I'm afraid I can't be of help!"
Bruce was capable of tailing soone or taking soone out, or even assessing the current situation, but handling sothing like the Miss Arica affair was not his forte!
Donnie glanced at Bruce with a smile and reassured, "Don't worry, I never thought you could contribute much to this!"
With no serious business to discuss, the two chatted casually, especially on the topic of warfare, which was a shared interest.
However, their pleasant conversation was soon interrupted by Nate!
"Boss, Mr. Dorne has arrived!"
"Alright, I'll be right there!"
.
"Donnie, my friend!"
Upon seeing Donnie arrive at his booth, Brad imdiately let go of the woman beside him, stood up, and embraced Donnie.
Before this, even though Donnie had told Ponzi that the contract was signed by Brad, in truth, Brad knew nothing about it.
Of course, now that Ponzi was dead, there was no one left to speak of the matter.
The reason Donnie had invited Brad over was, in fact, to discuss another matter.
"Brad, I want to hire you as the legal advisor for my new company, all the way until you take up the position of Atlantic City's municipal judge. What do you think?"
The year's elections would conclude in November, after which Brad would be appointed the municipal judge of Atlantic City!
Brad laughed, "Aren't I already the legal advisor for Starry Entertainnt?"
Donnie shook his head, "Not for Starry Entertainnt, but for Deep Sea dia's legal advisor!"

"The Deep Sea dia that owns the 'Atlantic City Post'?" Even though Brad hadn't heard of Deep Sea dia before, he knew that Donnie now owned a newspaper in Atlantic City called the "Atlantic City Post."
Donnie nodded, "Correct!"
"Of course, that's not a problem for , after all, it ans an additional inco!" Brad said happily.
Donnie nodded and replied, "Since that's settled, congratulations, you'll have work to do soon!"
Brad exaggeratedly asked, "Has your newspaper gotten sued already?"
Donnie chuckled and shook his head, "Not at all. I want you to help register a wireless radio broadcasting company and apply for the first comrcial broadcast license in the United States!"
"A wireless radio broadcasting company?" Brad showed a puzzled look.
You couldn't bla him for being uninford, though it was true that young Aricans could now buy parts and assemble radios themselves, as of yet, no comrcial radio stations had been established in the world.
The first global comrcial radio station, KDKA, wouldn't be founded until November of that year.
