Alice said, "By the way, Theo called earlier, and he said he'll be coming over with his wife too!"
Helen added, "Robert and his wife are coming as well!"
Donnie, sitting on the couch and looking at the smiles on their faces, shook his head helplessly, "You two really have so nerve!"
Helen said proudly, "Isn't it just perfect, perhaps you guys can sit down together and have a good chat!"
Whether a good chat was possible, Donnie didn't know, but he understood that he was in trouble now!
Although Theodore Junior hoped that he could walk together with his sister, he definitely did not want his sister to compete for the sa man with Robert Taft's sister.

Alice, who was initially withdrawing, seeing Helen's stance, started to compete with her again. So puffing out her chest and pretending to be fierce, she also asked, "What do you want to do?"
Donnie humd a laugh and said, "I don't want to do anything, I just want to let you two know the consequences of scheming against !"
With that, Donnie suddenly lunged at them, and despite being prepared, neither one could dodge Donnie's large hands. He first restrained Alice with his right hand, and then fiercely kissed Helen, who started to pale.
The two had never been so intimate before!

At the Boise City train station, Robert Taft, traveling light, walked out with his wife Martha Bowles.

Martha Bowles gave her husband a look of admiration. She greatly admired Robert Taft, even though sotis her husband could be a bit thickheaded!
"Why didn't you let Helen and the others co pick us up?"
Robert Taft said with a laugh, "No need, Helen is currently busy with WRPA matters, so let's not trouble her!"
After laughing, Robert Taft chuckled again, "By the way, you had previously said that Alice's arrival would make Helen fall for Donnie and told not to ntion it to Alice. Yet Helen's trip to Atlantic City still got back to Alice, and now Alice has actually beco an item with Donnie. Our Helen didn't end up in any trouble after all!"
Robert had initially been worried that Helen might fall for Donnie, which is why he suggested Alice co over and cause so trouble.
But Martha had dismissed this idea.
However, not long ago, at a banquet, Robert encountered Theo Roosevelt, who inford him about Alice and Donnie's situation. At the ti, Robert could hardly believe it.
But with Theo's categorical assertion, Robert had to believe it, even if he didn't want to!
So now Robert believed he had the right to bring it up pridefully to Martha.
Martha looked sowhat baffled and said, "Honestly, I still can't believe it. I understand Helen's character, and I'm sure I wasn't mistaken that night. Helen definitely had a liking for Donnie!"
Robert spoke cavalierly, "A girl's heart is bound to change. Besides, our Helen is very sensible. I think she knows that there would be no future in a relationship with Donnie, which is why she wouldn't fall for him!"
"If only matters of the heart could be so rational!" Martha was still sowhat incredulous.
Robert said with pride, "But our Helen is a rational person, and anyway, it doesn't really matter what she thinks about Donnie now since Donnie and Alice are already together.
