This was the thing that truly made Donnie happy.
"Receiving a call at this ti and being this happy can hardly be good news, right?"
Alice said skeptically seeing the look on Donnie's face.
Donnie laughed and said, "Then you guessed wrong, it's very good news!"
Alice retorted, "Then it must certainly not be good news for soone else!"
Donnie didn't care about Alice's attitude, and said, "I'm in a good mood now, I won't quibble with you over this. You two keep drinking, I'm leaving!"
After saying this, Donnie stood up and was about to leave!
"Hey!"
Seeing that Donnie was actually about to leave, Alice imdiately stood up and blocked him, saying, "What are you going to do?"
Helen sat there, too, curiously watching Donnie's back.
"Of course, I'm going to find soone to celebrate with. Did you think I would just sit here drinking plainly with you two?" Donnie said as if it were obvious.
Alice looked at Donnie with so astonishnt and said, "What kind of nerve do you have to say such shaless words in front of us?"
Donnie said, "What kind of nerve does it take for you two to tease here and not let get to base?"
"Get to base?" Alice didn't understand Donnie's aning at first, but when she looked at Helen and saw her blushing, she imdiately realized that this must not be anything decent!
"Why don't we two go to the bedroom and you can explain to properly what getting to base is?"
While speaking, Alice had already moved close to Donnie, her hands resting on his shoulders, which also put her bent arms between them.
Donnie looked at Alice's actions and laughed, "If your body wasn't trembling, I would have taken your words seriously, but sorry, I still don't want to invite trouble!"
After speaking, Donnie removed Alice's hands, waved at the two of them, and left the place directly.
"He really left?"
Watching Donnie leave, Alice looked at Helen in surprise!
This was when Helen stood up from the sofa and spoke calmly, "If he doesn't leave, what else can he do? Did you really dare to go to the bedroom with him? I told you before, although Donnie seems a bit lecherous, he has very strong self-control. He won't let our affairs affect his business plans!"

If the issues Helen had ntioned were placed on them... well, such things simply wouldn't happen to them.
"Wait a minute!" Alice suddenly realized sothing and looked at Helen, "You're so concerned about Donnie's affairs and yet you say you don't like him?"
Helen's face turned slightly red as she spoke unconvincingly, "Donnie is our friend, what's wrong with caring about him?"
Alice eyed Helen suspiciously and said, "Is that really all there is to it?"
Helen replied impatiently, "I can't be bothered to talk about this nonsense with you, I'm going to sleep!"
Having said that, she walked towards Donnie's bedroom.
Alice didn't notice this and muttered coldly, "I don't care, anyway Donnie is much more interesting than the others, I must make him fall for !"

So when she woke up the next afternoon, she went straight to Block Tavern to find Donnie.
At that ti, Donnie was listening to Magichi's report.

"Boss, do you want to bring those three here?" Magichi asked.
After thinking for a mont, Donnie said, "No need, arrange a eting with Nevin Byrd for ; I want to see what he's really planning!"
Knowing Donnie had made up his mind, Magichi didn't say anything more, simply answering, "Alright!"
After Magichi left, Alice curiously asked Donnie, "What happened? Weren't you quite happy last night?"
Donnie didn't answer Alice's question but instead said to her, "There's a job that's perfect for you, would you like to give it a try?"
