The social news in the United States has recently exploded!

Mafia bosses in multiple cities such as New York, Chicago, Boston, and Kansas City have been investigated by the IRS.

According to information provided by the IRS, these Mafia bosses have been involved in illegal alcohol trade within the United States for the past few years, earning illegal gains exceeding over a hundred million US Dollars!

The revelation of this news imdiately drew public outrage across the nation.

Everyone is struggling to make ends et, and yet these people have amassed so much wealth?

This is indeed unacceptable.

There is a rising call for severe punishnt of these individuals.

The demand even surpassed the noise surrounding Herbert Hoover’s signing of the "Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act."

Soon, more reports continued to surface.

For instance, the boss of the largest Mafia family in New York, yer Lansky, committed suicide due to guilt while in IRS custody!

Then, the Mafia bosses in several other cities died in different ways one after another.

If the death of one person can be considered an accident, then if all those under investigation died accidentally in different ways,

then this matter can no longer be deed accidental.

So newspapers imdiately published such speculations.

One newspaper opined that the illegal alcohol business in the United States was not just conducted by these people; they were rely middlen. Surely, people at higher levels of power existed above them.

Now that these individuals suddenly passed away, it wasn’t an accident but a deliberate act to ensure the investigation would not implicate themselves.

This analysis imdiately gained widespread acceptance, as the internal instability in the United States during that ti made people more inclined to believe conspiracy theories!

As everyone expected this matter to be reported by newspapers nationwide,

people then discovered that since the publication of the initial newspaper article, no other Arican newspaper had reported on it.

Whether controlled by the Democratic Party or the Republican Party, no dia reported on this matter.

Even the newspaper that initially analyzed and reported on this incident published nothing but routine news in the following day’s edition, without ntioning the illegal alcohol business anymore.

Since this event didn’t happen to them personally, nor to soone in their proximity,

once the newspapers and magazines stopped covering the story, people lacked channels to understand the matter, naturally leading to a lack of widespread discussion.

A few days later... it seed as though it had never happened.

Only those living on the dark or gray side in these cities knew the battles waged by those trying to rise after the deaths of the original underworld bosses.

Atlantic City, atop the Venus Tower, in Donnie’s office!

Donnie sat on the sofa with a smile, looking at Eric Liribeiro, and said leisurely.

"People are forgetful; you see, no one talks about this matter anymore!"

Eric Liribeiro looked puzzled and asked in confusion.

"There is sothing I don’t understand!"

"Ask, but I can’t guarantee I’ll clear things up for you!"

Eric Liribeiro looked helpless but could only ask, "I can understand why the Republican-controlled newspapers didn’t report on this.

But why did the newspapers under the control of the Democratic Party also refrain from reporting on this matter?"

Donnie chuckled and replied, "I can answer that for you because it’s a question with an answer that’s clear if you think about it seriously!"

Eric Liribeiro continued to express helplessness.

"The forr illegal alcohol alliance was an alliance that spanned all levels across the United States. Even you and your father gained benefits from this business.

It certainly included those from the Democratic Party as well.

Now, within the United States, the prohibition is practically a dead letter; everyone knows that the repeal of prohibition is only a matter of ti.

So, naturally, no one can profit from this business anymore.

Therefore... those who specifically handled these businesses are, in the eyes of those big figures, no longer tools for making profits but rather obstructions."

Pausing here, Donnie asked Eric Liribeiro.

"How much do you know about the history of the East?"

"I know a bit, but not much!"

"Do you know what a chamber pot is?"

"I don’t know."

Donnie first explained the function of a chamber pot to Eric Liribeiro, then continued.

"A chamber pot is sothing you only think about when you need it, but when you no longer need it, it becos nothing more than an eyesore in front of you.

Those big figures now want the money made from the illegal alcohol alliance to never be ntioned by anyone again, but ironically..."

Before Donnie could finish, Eric Liribeiro nodded and said, "I understand what you an; no one likes soone who holds their weakness to remain alive.

So, only by eliminating people like yer Lansky, can it be safest for everyone!"

Donnie nodded in satisfaction, laughing, "Exactly, that’s the point!"

Eric Liribeiro continued, "So this is also why you decisively withdrew from the illegal alcohol alliance two years ago, but... you are still one of the people who know about these matters, and you know even more than they do!"
