Ti. What is ti? Does ti even exist?

I gradually beca aware of heavy breathing echoing through the room—mine and hers, creating a rhythm that spoke of shared exhaustion and satisfaction.

How long were we...? Does it matter? Whatever just happened, it was worth losing track of ti completely.

The sound of running water and rising steam from the bathroom brought back to sothing resembling reality.

"Sousuke-kun, shall we eat cake now?" Tomoko's voice drifted from the bathroom, where she was apparently blow-drying her hair.

Cake. Right. There was supposed to be cake. Food. Normal human activities that don't involve transcending physical reality.

"Okay, Tomoko. I'm definitely hungry after that workout," I called back, unable to keep the satisfaction out of my voice.

'Workout' might be the understatent of the year, but it's technically accurate.

When I erged from my own quick cleanup, Tomoko had changed into a loose white t-shirt and was carefully carrying the homade cake from the kitchen.

"Sousuke-kun, you can cut it," she said, offering the ceramic knife. "Even though it's not your birthday, this is definitely a celebration cake."

A celebration cake. For my recovered finger and for... everything else we just celebrated.

"Alright, Tomoko-san. Here goes."

I cut the cake into even slices, plated them carefully, and handed her the first piece with the kind of ceremony the mont seed to deserve.

The first bite was incredible—light and delicate with a dense texture, fluffy cream that was perfectly sweet without being overwhelming.

"This is amazing, Tomoko! You're not just an incredible cook—you're a dessert artist too!"

"You're exaggerating, Sousuke-kun," she replied with that pleased smile that ant she was secretly thrilled by the complint. "When Sachiko was little, I used to make her birthday cakes myself, but I haven't tried in recent years. My skills have probably gotten rusty."

"Store-bought cakes all taste the sa," I said honestly. "Homade always has that special sothing that you can't buy."

"Then please eat as much as you want, Sousuke-kun."

Her gentle smile as she took her own bite was the perfect ending to a perfect evening.

After our sugar-fueled energy restoration, I felt renewed vigor coursing through my system. My right hand, finally free from its dical prison, felt like a powerful tool that had been awakened from a long slumber.

After finishing our cake, we naturally migrated back to the sofa, where Tomoko lted into my arms with the ease of long practice.

"Sousuke-kun's heart is beating so fast," she murmured, her soft hand pressed against my chest.

Of course it is. Being this close to you, after everything that just happened, after seeing you in that incredible outfit—my heart doesn't know how to slow down.

"That's all because of you, Tomoko."

"How about it? Has my finger fully recovered?" I asked with mock seriousness, letting my newly freed hand demonstrate its renewed capabilities on her thigh.

"Mmm..." was all she could manage in response, her eyes fluttering closed as she enjoyed the gentle ministrations.

Outside the window, night had fallen like a gentle blanket over the world. Moonlight filtered through the leaves, creating dancing shadows on the ground while the early sumr breeze carried the scent of blooming flowers into our warm, intimate space.

Perfect. This mont is absolutely perfect. The recovered finger, the celebration, the incredible woman in my arms, and a whole night ahead of us.

University life really is treating well.
