Jun steps into the house, his body still warm from the mory of last night.

The air inside is still, carrying the familiar scent of ho.

He exhales, running a hand through his hair.

He hadn’t expected to find anyone here_

_ but the mont he turns the corner, he freezes.

Ace stands by the doorway, dressed, a bag slung over his shoulder as if he’s preparing to leave.

"Ace?" Jun’s voice is laced with surprise. "Where are you going with a bag?" Jun asks, his heart sinking.

Ace turns at the sound of his na, blinking as if he hadn’t expected to see Jun either. But then his brows furrow slightly. "Nowhere that far. Where have you been?"

Jun hesitates.

Ace exhales, adjusting the strap of his bag. "Never mind." He makes his way to the door. "You’ll be seeing oftenly, don’t worry, I promised never to leave your side, and I won’t."

Jun’s stomach tightens. "Where are you going?"

Ace shrugs. "Sowhere."

That’s not an answer, and they both know it.

But before Jun can push for more, Ace’s gaze sharpens, scanning him.

Sothing shifts in his expression.

His eyes narrow slightly, his head tilting as he studies Jun like he’s seeing sothing new.

"You..." Ace starts, then stops. A slow smirk tugs at his lips. "Sothing’s different about you. Where have you been all night?"

Jun tenses, caught off guard. "What? No. What do you an by sothing different about ?!" He pretends.

Ace folds his arms, grinning now. "Liar. You are lying to right now, so smoothly." His eyes glint with knowing. "Tell , did you et your mate last night?"

Jun’s face heats instantly.

Ace gasps dramatically. "Oh my god. You did!" He takes a step closer, excitent radiating off him. "You totally did!" Laughs, "I need a picture of this, you are totally blushing and I’ve never seen you like this." He says as he snaps a picture even when Jun refuses.

Jun groans, covering his face with his hands. "Ace..."

"Don’t even try to deny it!" Ace laughs, practically bouncing now. "Who is it? Tell everything. Did he find you? Or did you find him? Where did it happen? Did he claim you? Did he mark you? Or is it that you are the one who marked him? Or is it a_ she?" Ace is so curious and the things he wants to know are countless.

Jun sighs, but there’s no real exasperation in it. The truth is, he wants to tell Ace. Wants to share this mont, because despite the chaos surrounding them, last night was real.

So he tells Ace everything.

Ace listens intently, his smile widening with every word.

When Jun finally lifts the collar of his shirt slightly to reveal the mark on his neck, Ace practically loses it.

"Jun!" He claps him on the back, beaming. "Oh my Goooooood! I can’t even breath anymore!" He says laughing but genuinely happy.

"Soone just lost his V_card." Ace adds, making Jun blush even more.

Jun can’t stop himself from smiling. "Fvck you." He says laughing.

Ace grins, but then his expression shifts, curiosity flashing in his eyes. "Wait. Who is it? Do I know him by any chance?" He asks.

Jun hesitates, just for a second.

Then he takes a breath and says it.

"Rey."

Ace freezes.

Ace lets out a breath, his eyes widening slightly. "Rey... as in Rey? Kieran’s second-in-command?"

Jun chuckles. "Yeah. That Rey."

Ace’s jaw drops slightly. "Holy shit."

For a mont, he just stares at Jun like he misheard him. "Are you fvcking kidding ?! No way, tell you are kidding" ace laughs. "Do you know what he told that day when I talked to him at the mansion?! ’That_ looks like my mate just entered, I can’t even wait to carry him in my arms. By the way... does your friend has a mate now? I an, he is one of us now and he must have been mated already by the moon goddess.’ " Ace says , mimicking Reys voice.

Jun shrugs, a small smile still lingering on his lips. "Apparently, he’s loved for a long ti. Even before we were mates."

Ace laughs, "You already told that,"

Jun laughs too.

"Oh my god, this is insane." Ace shakes his head, grinning.

Jun rolls his eyes. "I know, Ace."

Ace shakes his head again, still grinning. "Damn, Jun. You look happy."

Jun doesn’t even try to deny it. "I am."

Ace’s smile softens further. "Then I’m happy too."

For a mont, they just stand there, the weight of everything else fading in the face of this shared happiness.

Then Ace shifts his bag again. "I have to go, I’ll see you soon."

Jun frowns slightly, rembering the chaos surrounding outside his happiness. "Ace, wherever you are planning to go can wait, please, Kieran needs you, Rehan is being a jerk to him, taking advantage of the situation, people are doubting his leadership, and both of us know that Kieran fits that position. Am sure you don’t want us to be under soone’s else rule if not Kieran... there is a formal Alpha duel right now, we need to support him, he was alone all night, Ace. I know he can be a jerk so tis but we can’t leave him just like that."
