A heavy silence stretches between them, thick with unspoken grief and old wounds.

The valley, once echoing with anger and distrust, now holds a different kind of tension, one teetering between hope and fear.

Then, Kieran steps forward. His voice, deep and unwavering, carries over the assembled groups.

"So here we are. If you feel like you are feeling each other’s pain... if you agree that you had a common enemy whom you wish to bury away... if you truly wish to build each other instead of tearing each other apart, if you want peace... please, co forward." He says.

No one moves at first. But a second later there’s a hesitant step.

From the first group moves forward. His shoulders are stiff, his expression unreadable, but he steps closer nonetheless.

Another follows. Then another.

Soon, more step forward, until the hesitant trickle becos a slow but steady movent.

A shift in the air follows, a feeling of sothing greater taking hold, sothing unseen yet powerful.

Ace, Jun , Elira and Kieran exchange a look. A silent victory playing inside of them.

Then as if he had already planned, Ace steps forward, his stance steady, his voice calm but filled with conviction. "I will use my flas," he announces. "This fire will not harm anyone. Well, you know what that ans. Right now, it’s purpose is different, as it touches you, it will burn away the weight of past grudges, the resentnt, and the darkness that lingers in your hearts."

He pauses, letting his words sink in.

"If you are ready, we’re going to start, we will let the fla bear witness to our unity."

Murmurs ripple through the crowd. So exchange wary glances, but the anger that once burned so fiercely has dimd.

Then...

"Wait!"

The voice is thick with emotion, cracking as if forced past a throat tight with guilt.

A young man stumbles forward, falling to his knees. His fingers clutch at his chest as if trying to hold in the sha threatening to burst free. His voice shakes. "I... I have sinned."

The gathering stills.

Eyes turn to him, expectant, waiting.

He swallows hard. "I betrayed my own people, sold them to the dangers, used my magic for evil purposes. I... I let my desires make a coward." His breath shudders. "I swear, I will never do anything like that again. Please... forgive ."

A deep silence follows.

The weight of his confession settles over the gathering like a suffocating fog.

Ace watches him, his gaze unreadable. Then, slowly, a small smile tugs at his lips... amusent, not mocking, but understanding.

He turns to his mother, his voice low. "Mom? Will the flas burn him even after his confession?"

Elira’s eyes soften with sothing almost motherly. "Perhaps we should try to communicate with the Moon Goddess."

The young man remains kneeling, his breath shallow. His fate hangs in the balance.

Holds hands, the young man between them.

They close their eyes, reaching out with their senses, seeking the divine presence that has guided them this far.

It doesn’t even take long, as if the moon goddess was just sitting there, waiting for that.

A single, crystal-clear drop of water falls from the sky.

It shimrs, untouched by the dust of the valley, and lands gently on the young man’s head.

The mont it touches him, it vanishes, absorbed into him as if the heavens themselves had whispered their forgiveness.

Elira’s eyes snap open, her lips parting in awe. Then, she smiles. "He has been cleansed. The Moon Goddess has forgiven him."

A stunned silence, then, as if a great weight has lifted, the sound of cheers rises. A few at first, then more, growing louder until the valley echoes with relief and renewed hope.

The first to move is the young man himself. He stands on shaky legs, wiping his eyes, and turns to the others.

One by one, more step forward, not just to receive forgiveness, but to give it.

Ace steps forward, his flas igniting, soft, warm, welcoming. "Let the fire cleanse us all."

And, one by one, they step into the light.

-

The last flicker of blue fla vanishes into the air, leaving behind a lingering warmth, not of fire, but of renewed hope.

The witches stand in stunned silence, feeling the shift within them.

The darkness of Hunter’s rule, the bitterness of loss, the weight of suspicion, it all feels lighter now. The past remains, but the burden has lessened.

Then, soone speaks, hesitant but eager.

"We should celebrate this," he suggests. "A feast. A new beginning."

Murmurs of agreent rise quickly.

Magic hums in the air, and within monts, a grand feast appears before them, dishes of warm bread, roasted ats, exotic fruits, and golden goblets brimming with rich, enchanted wine.

The scent alone carries a sense of comfort, as if the very earth itself welcos this mont of peace.

But Ace steps forward, "This is your mont," he says. "A chance to bond, to rebuild trust among yourselves. We don’t need to be here anymore. We trust you to strengthen this peace on your own."

The witches hesitate, clearly wanting them to stay, but Kieran speaks next, his voice resolute.

"Let this night be about you. We’ll leave, but should you need us, you know where to find us."

Reluctantly, they accept.

Rika and Max walk them on their way.

Rika, overco with emotion, suddenly throws her arms around Ace, her grip tight, her gratitude unspoken yet understood.

"Thank you," she whispers.

Max steps forward, looking at Kieran, Jun, and Elira. "You all, thank you." His gaze lingers on Kieran a mont longer, as if acknowledging the shift in their relationship.

When finally Rika lets go of him, Ace steps back. "Keep us inford. Let us know how things progress." His voice carries both care and authority. "If anything happens, don’t hesitate to reach out."

With that, they turn, stepping away, beginning their journey back to Kieran’s territory.

Rika and Max follow them with their eyes, feeling the emptiness of their absence. Max wipes a tear that runs down Rika’s cheek.

She chuckles embarrassedly.

Max chuckles too, their eyes hold each other, longer than necessary before Rika speaking, "We should head back before they think we ran."

Max laughs at that softly before following Rika.
