Yarin's POV:
Kris approached Eden with a sinister grin, clenching his fists tightly, making a cracking sound. Many students furrowed their brows, clearly thinking Kris was going too far.
Still, no one stepped forward to stop him. No one present could beat Kris, and people knew that Kris was like an unremovable super glue. Once he stuck to soone, unless they left Sivir Academy, they would have to endure bullying from him and his gang throughout their academic career.
The situation needed to be reversed to handle soone like Kris, making him the weaker side in the 'strong against weak' dynamic.
"So, can you finally tell your plan?" Heller prodded nervously, poking my waist with his finger. "Kris's punch could send Eden to the center of the Earth. If you don't act now, I'm going in!"
I didn't answer him; I just stared in the direction of the teaching building. Autumn's friends had already brought the teacher and were running toward us.
"What are you all doing? Stop this at once!"
To my surprise, it was Ms. Maggie who arrived.
"Didn't the headmistress go out for an educational exchange?" Heller exclaid.
In just a few seconds, Ms. Maggie was about to reach the two confronting students. Kris also noticed her, but he just scoffed disdainfully and suddenly raised his fist, swinging it toward Eden!
He was provoking Ms. Maggie!
In an instant, many students couldn't bear to watch and closed their eyes, as if they already foresaw Eden's bloody and tragic state.
I heard Heller let out an urgent cry, "Stop it, all of you!"
Accompanied by Ms. Maggie's furious roar, the unexpected happened.
As Kris's fist was about to connect, he stumbled forward, his whole body lurching, and he clumsily fell to the ground, tripping over his feet.
"Oh my god!"
The onlookers exclaid in disbelief. Soone in the crowd even whistled, and so girls rolled their eyes and covered their faces.
The reason was obvious; Kris's pants had slipped down from his fat, pig-like buttocks, and the broken belt was the reason he fell on his backside.
Suddenly, soone shouted, "Wow, Tooth Puncher is wearing pink flowery underwear. He's such a sensitive guy!"
As soon as this remark was made, the crowd burst into laughter.
By this point, Kris had long forgotten about Eden. He was in a rush, trying to put his pants back on. Unfortunately, his belt was broken, and the waistband had several tears. Even his long thermal underwear was torn in pieces. It wasn't so much pants as it was Kris desperately trying to cover his lower body with tatters.
"Thank goodness his underwear didn't break," Heller chuckled, "Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to imagine that scene. Oh my, I'd have nightmares."
I laughed but didn't say anything.
Heller stared at for a few seconds and hesitantly asked, "... Don't tell this was your plan?"
I openly admitted, "Well, what do you think?"
"It's not that it's bad; it's just a bit unbelievable. How did you co up with this tactic to deal with Kris?"
"He enjoys bullying others to show off his strength, right? For people like him who care about their reputation, trampling on his pride is enough to break him. Even if it doesn't completely break him, getting him angry will work too. It'll make the next phase of the plan easier." "What plan?"
"Just keep watching."
Over there, Kris was finally covering his legs with those pitiful strips of fabric. He was shivering from the cold.
Ms. Maggie realized how embarrassing this situation was becoming and decided to take the fighting students to her office to address the issue.
Kris was now even more irritable due to the loss of face. Ms. Maggie's stern tone evidently angered him further. He pushed away Ms. Maggie's hand and said darkly, "You don't need to ddle, madam. This is between Eden and . It's best if you stay out of it."
Ms. Maggie was almost amused, "I shouldn't ddle? Let remind you, Mr. Cyril, that I am still the headmistress of this middle school. I have the authority to oversee any student."
"Soon, you won't be," Kris said maliciously, "I will tell my grandfather about your incompetence, and you'll be dismissed. You won't be able to stay in the education field anymore."
"The future is later, and the present is now," Ms. Maggie retorted fearlessly. She treated nobles and power as if they were air in front of her. "As long as I remain the headmistress, I won't shirk my responsibilities. So, go to my office now, and don't make say it a third ti."
