Yarin's POV:

"The second question." Azazel smiled and kicked up a handful of snow. "You shouldn't ask , child. Ask yourself where you are."

"What?"

"No one in this world knows this place better than you, Yarin. After all, this is your spiritual world."

When he revealed the truth, I suddenly felt a strong connection with my soul.

As Azazel said, this endless snowy plain was my spiritual world.

Everyone had a spiritual world, but it was very closed. If one didn't know the thod,

entering their spiritual world was very difficult.

With my current state of being utterly ignorant of any strange power, I never thought I would one day be able to open the door to the spiritual world.

I should 'thank' Azazel for his invasion.

... What a joke. Thank him? Sick!

"I thought you were a happy child. I didn't expect your spiritual world to be so gloomy and delicate." Azazel looked around at my spiritual world and clicked his tongue in wonder. "Doesn't your mother perform regular assessnts on your ntal state? I heard that many powerful families like to do this. Psychology, ha."

I didn't want to waste ti talking to him. "Linda gave you my body, but you abandoned it so easily. Now you're invading my spiritual world. Don't tell you're here for sightseeing, right?"

"How heartless. I told you I'm a lonely old man who can't bear to leave my little grandson," Azaziz toot aggrievedly. "Besides, I didn't abandon you. It's just that the book on raising children says that invading children's private space will make them hate you. That's why I gave your body back to you. Look, now I'm here, right?"

"... Parenting books? Are you crazy?"

"I've carefully studied all kinds of child-rearing theories in the human world." Azazel put on a smug look, coupled with his handso face. If one did not know his true nature, one would be easily deceived by his appearance.

"So, what exactly do you want?" I felt a wave of ntal exhaustion. He couldn't beat , and this demon wouldn't listen no matter what I said. He kept changing the topic, and I wanted to punch him in the face.

"I told you, I'm just here to see you. I know what you're thinking, child," said the demon with a smile. "But why should you shift your hatred for the Lily of the Valley onto ? You know that I am a mountain that you will never be able to cross. Hating is just a waste of energy.

"Besides, strictly speaking, I didn't do anything. I didn't kill them, I didn't create the drugs, and I didn't ask Linda to carry out the conspiracy, right?" He laughed. "It's none of my business. I didn't ask people to do bad things."

"But you are the root of everything." I was unmoved and looked at him coldly. "You seduced Linda and hinted that she would help you descend again. You gave Linda the power of evil, allowing her to carry out her plans without scruples. You responded to the sacrifices of the cultists and gave them the ability to cause disaster in the human world. Without your help, the Lily of the Valley wouldn't have been able to develop such a powerful force. You didn't take the initiative but didn't reject anyone and helped the tiger."

"All right, I can't refute that." Azazel shrugged nonchalantly. "In short, I planted a seed. I can't control what flowers will bloom in the end."

"But you do expect this flower to please you."

"That's right. And now, it can't be considered a surprise, but it can't be considered a disappointnt either."

After he finished speaking, he suddenly stood up and walked toward . I retreated in shock but realized that a dense black fog had condensed behind and blocked my path.

Azazel had already arrived in front of in just a few seconds. He was standing too close to , causing all the hair on my body to stand on end as I shouted 'danger'.

"I like you very much, Yarin. You don't look like a child, and I hate children, so I like you." Azazel raised his hand and grabbed my neck. He used no force, and the black fog easily stopped my struggle. "But you are still too weak now. You are so weak that anyone can easily kill you. I don't want my vessel in the modern world to be a fragile vase."

The black fog behind began to surge into my nose and mouth as he spoke. Instantly, I felt like a sponge soaked in ice water, and a threatening chill invaded my internal organs.

Even more terrifying was that this cold feeling gradually extended to my soul. I could even hear the faint sound of my soul freezing.

"What... What did you do..."

I stared at Azazel, but he didn't care. He just gently caressed my cheek.

"It's a small gift, child. Just treat it as a greeting gift from a grandpa to his grandson," he said. "Don't worry. You'll thank for this in the future."
