Lucia sighed while staring at her reflection in the mirror. She couldn’t help but rember what happened between her and Gastone. The mory made her smile and it was enough for her to be happy temporarily.

"Ah!" Lucia exclaid while aggressively shooking her head to forget the recollection. She patted her cheeks before sighing deeply. "I should move faster now."

Lucia splashed water on her face to awaken herself even more. After that, she went back to her table with a piece of paper on the desk. She had been thinking of her next move that would greatly increase the speed of her plan to prevent more lives from being gone.

"Hmm, let recall the information I have," Lucia whispered while scratching her head with a pencil. She tried her best to rember her conversation with Joseph in the restaurant.

"So, the Cassa Orphanage is the supplier for..." Lucia paused when she felt a lump in her throat and the urge to vomit upon rembering the at she had eaten in the Nutri’s restaurant.

"Ugh!" Lucia groaned loudly in disgust. "Tsk!"

Lucia took a deep breath to calm her mind and tried to focus on the task.

"Okay, to continue, the Cassa Orphanage isn’t an ordinary orphanage... but rather a house for livestock!" Lucia shouted as she wrote it down in rage.

"Based on the picture... both the Bisco and the Nutri companies were ordering children from the orphanage... and the Turizer Farm is owned by the Nutri..." Lucia put the information together and finally, the picture was clear.

The thought made Lucia sick to her stomach and she couldn’t help but vomit. Good thing, a trash can was next to her, or else, it would be a ss.

"Gosh!" Lucia wiped her mouth with a tissue and drank a lot of water. She wasn’t feeling good, but she tried her best to stay as calm as possible.

Lucia grabbed her pen as she wrote her findings. "I have known the Bisco is an underground company and they are taking attractive children into their care..." Lucia bit her lips as she rembered her past, but she didn’t want to dwell on it any longer.

"On the other side, the Nutri’s took the less attractive children... Hmm..." Lucia then recalled the chopped bodies inside the Nutri Household.

"Are they using the Turizer Farm to keep the children until they were ready to be harvested and turned into a lump of at... Ack!" Lucia’s body shivered as she vomited for the second ti.

Lucia couldn’t believe she had enjoyed eating human flesh and that alone made her want to die.

"Be strong... Lucia... you have the information you wanted... Now, you only need proof," Lucia talked to herself for motivation.

Lucia felt excited, but nervous at the sa ti. Her ideas all lead to Daniel as he was the key to the success of the plan.

"Daniel... I know he’s starting to like , but I need to gain more of his trust so he will tell everything," Lucia leaned back in her chair. He thought about it for a couple more minutes and finally found the right path to go.

"I need to be his girlfriend," Lucia muttered at the idea. A relationship with Daniel was the best plan she had co up with since that would bring her closer to the family.

A smile ford on Lucia’s lips as she ca close to her goal, but it didn’t take long before her smile vanished. She rembered Gastone and the image of him brought a pang of pain in her chest.

"Gastone..." Lucia whispered as her face softened. "Don’t hate for my decision," she muttered.

Upon knowing Daniel and Gastone were friends, Lucia felt awkward making Daniel her boyfriend after what she and Gastone had done intimately.

"Whatever! I won’t let a man destroy my plans that I’ve worked hard all these tis!" Lucia exclaid as she stood up. She took her phone and was about to call Daniel, but forgot she didn’t have his number.

In the end, Lucia called Gastone to ask for Daniel’s number as her last resort. It took several rings before Gastone answered the call.

"Hello," Gastone whispered in the call as if he didn’t want anyone to hear him.

"Oh, Hi, Gastone! Are you busy? I have sothing to ask you," Lucia stated sweetly since she wanted sothing from him.

But instead of a reply, Gastone dropped the call the mont Daniel called him out.

"Huh!?" Lucia was in shock. She didn’t expect Gastone would turn down the call without any reason at all. "That’s so rude!" she exclaid in disbelief.

Lucia slamd the phone down as she went back to cutting the fresh roses in stock to vent out her frustration. After all, she still needed to keep the flower shop going as her cover.

On the other hand, Gastone looked at Daniel, who welcod him with open arms in his office.

"My dear friend, did I interrupt sothing?" Daniel asked after noticing the phone in Gastone’s hand.

"Ah, it’s nothing important," Gastone shrugged it off and acted cool. He didn’t want Daniel to know that he and Lucia were communicating since that would only complicate things between them.

"I see," Daniel nodded in understanding and led Gastone into his office.

Gastone stared at his phone and wondered what Lucia wanted from him. He was concerned at first, but her sweet tone told him sothing else.

"Well, before I show you everything. This proposal is very confidential, but since I trust you. I’m willing to share this. However, I want you to commit to keeping it between us not only as business partners but as friends," Daniel stated after sitting on the sofa opposite to Gastone.

"Confidential... That is a heavy word, Daniel," Gastone replied. He couldn’t help but beco curious as to what it was.

"It is... quite heavy. That’s why I want to discuss this with you in person," Daniel chuckled and took a folder beside him, sliding it toward Gastone. "Please read this and tell your opinion afterward."
