Lucia remained in the forest as she tried to regain her senses. She couldn’t believe that she was finally leaving.
"I did it!" Lucia bead with a grin, but her eyes shed a tear. She was crying and didn’t know why. "Huh? What is this?" she asked while wiping her cheeks.
Lucia was confused as to why her body was reacting that way when she had gotten what she wanted in the first place. She tried to bite her lips and force her eyes to stop the tears from streaming, but she couldn’t.
"Ah! Whatever!" Lucia shouted in annoyance before fixing herself and planned to return to the house, but when she turned around, she no longer knew where she ca from.
All Lucia could see were similar trees with no path.
"Ah... I’m lost," Lucia muttered, and that instantly stopped her from crying and was replaced with anxiousness. She remained on her spot and decided on a direction she deed the trail toward the house.
Lucia spent a few minutes walking, but no house in sight. She felt the trees and bushes beco thicker, and the sunlight couldn’t enter anymore. The place beca dark, and it was dangerous to go forth, but she wouldn’t give up.
"I can go back... I can," Lucia whispered to motivate herself. She wrapped her arms around her chest since it was getting colder.
Minutes turned to an hour, but Lucia remained in the forest alone. Her feet were full of bruises from walking barefoot as she forgot her slippers.
Lucia wanted to scream Gastone’s na for help in those desperate tis, but her pride made her stop. She didn’t have the courage to ask for Gastone’s assistance after what she had said to him.
Lucia couldn’t believe she had gotten lost when she only walked a few steps deeper into the forest. Most of all, the eerie was different, and the fog started appearing, which hindered her vision.
"This is creeping out," Lucia whispered and hugged herself tighter. That was when she felt soone staring at her. She looked back, but no one was there.
"H-hello? G-gastone?" Lucia called out, but no answer.
Lucia’s fear grew inside her at that point, and she felt she was about to cry.
"Anyone out there?" Lucia whispered and shivered from the cold. She took a step forward when she felt soone touched her back.
"KYAH!!! HELP !" Lucia scread in horror. She sat on the ground and covered her head in an attempt to save her life.
"Darling, are you lost?" a wobbly voice spoke from behind.
Lucia glanced and saw an old woman with a basket in her hand. Her fear vanished and was replaced with relief.
"Old lady, help . I am lost," Lucia whispered while clinging to the old woman’s skirt.
"O-old lady? I am not that old!" the woman exclaid, brushing Lucia’s hand away.
"What do you want to call you?" Lucia asked while standing up.
"You can call Grandma," the old woman stated with a grin.
"Ah... Grandma," Lucia muttered with a furrowed brow since those words ant the sa.
"I see. Do you live nearby? I want to get out of here, Grandma," Lucia pleaded as she had enough of going alone.
"Hmm, do you want so apple?" Grandma stated with a grin. She opened her basket, which only contained one apple.
"Umm," Lucia frowned since it was out of context. "Maybe later, after we get out of here," she added before stepping back.
The old woman’s smile vanished and was replaced with anger. "Just take the apple!" she shouted and pushed the apple into Lucia’s hand.
"I’m not hungry!" Lucia exclaid. She found the old woman weird and wanted to do nothing with her.
"You are being stubborn. Till next ti, Lucia," Grandma stated with a knowing grin on her lips before her body was slowly engulfed by the fog.
Lucia’s eyes widened at what she had seen. The fog clouded her vision, and the next thing she knew, soone touched her shoulder.
"AHHH!!! GET AWAY FROM !!!" Lucia scread her lungs out, thinking it was the old woman again.
"Lucia! What the hell are you doing!?" Gastone shouted and forced Lucia to face him. He had been waiting for her to return, but she didn’t for an hour. He decided to venture toward the forest again and saw her sitting on the ground in the exact spot where he had left her.
Lucia looked up and saw Gastone’s concerned face. She unconsciously reached toward his neck and clung to him like a koala. Tears stread through her eyes as she cried.
Gastone was shocked by Lucia’s reaction, but he didn’t ask why. He sat on the ground and cuddled her until she fell unconscious in his arms.
"What happened to her?" Gastone muttered while watching Lucia’s sleeping face. He wiped the tears away before carrying her back to the house.
Navin and Jorge were relieved after Gastone went back with Lucia with him.
"What happened?" Navin asked in confusion.
"I don’t know," Gastone replied before entering the house. He put Lucia in her room and tucked her with a blanket. He noticed mud on her feet with several wounds and scratches, but the ground was dry to where he found her.
Gastone frowned as he couldn’t find a good explanation for why Lucia beca like that. He went to the bathroom to get a bowl of water and a cloth to clean her up.
As Gastone finished cleaning and tending Lucia’s wounds. He looked around the room and decided to tidy up since she planned to leave soon. When she went to the trash bin, he noticed tissues inside.
"Hmm," Gastone didn’t mind it since it was trash but was confused since those tissues were similar to the one in his room.
Gastone began packing Lucia’s stuff with a heavy heart. He had planned on getting to know her more and pampered her, but it was too late. His heart was aching that he had failed to get Lucia’s attention, but instead of drinking away the pain, he decided to m@sturbate instead.
