Felissa was looking at the Castle with awe. She wasn’t expecting the 13th pack to have a gigantic place to live.

"Woah, this place is huge!" Felissa exclaid while walking down the carriage. Idola went beside her, but Vicenzo was nowhere to be seen.

"Please, co inside, Lady Felissa," Ambra stated and gestured for Felissa toward the Castle door.

Felissa smiled sweetly and went forward with Idola. She glanced back and saw Vicenzo appear from the forest, but she paid no attention to him.

"Woah, this place is better than I imagined!" Idola exclaid with awe. She looked around the gigantic chandeliers hanging on the ceiling with dozens of burning candles.

"Yes, I thought the 13th pack is...." Felissa couldn’t continue her words since it was inappropriate. She thought the 13th pack was poor and dying.

"Lady Felissa, please co with . "I’ll show you your chambers first," Ambra stated, gesturing to Felissa toward the stairs. The rest of the knights sat on the sofa while waiting their turn.

"Okay," Felissa replied, following Ambra upstairs while Idola carried the luggage.

"Where is your knight, Lady Felissa?" Ambra asked upon noticing Idola, who was struggling with the weight.

"He—" Felissa was about to reply and cover for Vicenzo, but he arrived on ti.

"I’m here, Lady Felissa. I apologize for being late," Vicenzo stated and lowered his head. He imdiately took the luggage from Idola and carried it as if it weighed nothing.

"Hmm," Ambra humd and ignored Vicenzo. She only cared about Rosina, but since they were her guests. She tried to be polite as possible.

The walk was silent and awkward.

Ambra stopped at an enormous door and opened it. "This will be your room, Lady Felissa. "The next two rooms belong to your knight and servant," she stated, slightly lowering her head.

"Thank you," Felissa stated before entering. The room looked normal with less fashionable items, but it looked great.

Ambra said nothing before leaving them alone since she needed to wait for Rosina.

Felissa looked at the two standing before her. "Umm, you can go to your rooms," she stated softly.

"Alright, Lady!" Idola grinned before running toward her chamber, while Vicenzo nodded without a word.

Felissa wanted to ask where Vicenzo went, but he looked paler than usual. That made her wonder if Vicenzo was sick from the trip.

"Ah, I should rest a bit. " I don’t know how long we’ll stay here," Felissa whispered, slumping on the soft mattress. She closed her eyes briefly until she heard the door open.

"Felissa," Rosina said with a giggle when Felissa jumped from the bed in surprise.

"Wah! Rosina! You are back!" Felissa exclaid and ran toward Rosina.

"I have sothing to show you, but keep it a secret," Rosina put her index finger over her lips to hushed Felissa.

"Sure, what is it?" Felissa stated with interest.

Rosina giggled before removing the magic that helped cover her belly. Then she removed her robe to show Felissa what was hidden underneath.

"Oh my!" Felissa gasped in shock. She looked at Rosina with wide eyes and pointed at her stomach. "You gained a lot of weight!" she exclaid.

"No!" Rosina shook her head and grabbed Felissa’s hand, putting it on her belly to feel the baby’s heartbeat.

Felissa quickly retracted her hand and looked at it. "You... you’re pregnant!" she exclaid.

"Yes, and I’m about to give birth soon," Rosina stated with a sad smile while caressing her belly.

"Congratulations! You’re going to beco a good mother," Felissa stated with happiness. She couldn’t help but imagine the day Rosina would give birth, but there was one thing she wanted to know.

"Why didn’t you announce your pregnancy to the public?" Felissa asked in curiosity.

"Hmm, my pregnancy is supposed to be delightful news since this pup will be the heir to the throne, but with the rise of threat in the pack. I can’t do that for the pup’s safety," Rosina explained and took a step forward.

"Oh no," Felissa realized that she was naive to ignore the lurking danger that wanted to overthrow the new Monarchs from the throne. "I just don’t get it, Rosina. It’s a rule that only the strong will stand at the top, and defeating the old Monarch ans you are stronger than them. Everyone should accept it," she added angrily.

"Not everyone will abide when they realize they gain nothing from it," Rosina answered, looking at Felissa’s dog, Snow.

"If there’s still an attack in the Palace. Then, why are you here in the 13th pack with fewer knights to protect you!" Felissa clamoured and beca worried for Rosina’s well-being.

"The knights I bring are not for , Felissa. They are for you and for the wolves living here. I don’t need protection," Rosina chuckled in amusent, and her eyes changed color for a few seconds, but it was enough for Felissa to see.

Felissa opened her mouth to speak, but no words ca out. She knew it was Rosina’s move to prove she was powerful enough to defend herself.

"Alright. I have Sir Vicenzo to protect . You don’t have to cover with a lot of manpower," Felissa stated awkwardly since she felt guilty for making Rosina worry about her well-being.

"Hmm," Rosina humd and turned around. "Felissa, pick those you can trust the most. So have deceitful facades and can lie straight to your face," she added.

"Alright! Don’t worry about !" Felissa stated with a grin. She didn’t want to beco a burden, especially since Rosina was pregnant.

"Lunch after an hour," Rosina added before leaving Felissa’s room.

Felissa breathed out when Rosina was gone. "That’s too much information to take in," she stated, sitting on the bed. Snow jumped into her lap and licked her cheeks.

"Ah! Snow! You are so cute!" Felissa stated lovingly and hugged her dog. Her smile vanished when she rembered what Rosina had stated.

"Trusting soone... Can I trust Sir Vicenzo?" Felissa added in a deep thought, but she shrugged it off. After all, Vicenzo was her appointed knight, and she trusted him the most.
