The next morning, they arrived at the 13th pack’s borders. A woman was waiting for them with a wide smile.
"My Queen, we are delighted by your return!" Ambra, sister of Gastone, exclaid in happiness. She ran toward Rosina’s carriage, but the knights tried to stop her.
"That’s Lady Ambra Violante," Rosina stated while moving down the carriage slowly. The knights showed confusion since the na ’Ambra’ was not known.
"Please, My Queen. I’m not a Princess to carry the royal family’s last na," Ambra lowered her head in submission.
Since the ti that Rocco announced the truth. All the ’royals’ who didn’t have Violante’s blood removed their last na. So changed to their mother’s maiden na, while so remained with their first na only.
Rosina smiled and patted Ambra’s head. She didn’t want to dwell deeper into the topic. She faced her troops, and her dominance seeped out.
"Please, follow Lady Ambra, and she’ll show your quarters," Rosina stated, fixing her robe.
"Where are you going, My Queen?" Ambra asked since she thought Rosina would take a rest from a long trip.
"Sowhere," Rosina replied before walking away. Silvio tried to follow, but he was stopped by a single gesture from Rosina.
Everyone looked at one another since they needed to protect the Queen.
"Her Majesty will be fine. Please follow Lady Ambra," Silvio stated and let the knights and servants move forward. Felissa was looking at Rosina’s back. She wanted to ask where Rosina was going, but her carriage moved.
On the other hand, Rosina kept on walking until she arrived at a familiar place. She grabbed so flowers growing in the soil and stood in an area where huge stones were stacked together.
"Pepe," Rosina whispered and looked at the stone. She crumpled the flowers first before placing them on the makeshift tomb. "I’m back," she added with a sad smile.
The grave didn’t contain a body, but only a mory of where Pepe and Sal died together.
Rosina sighed before leaving. She didn’t feel the hatred she had before since it was replaced with pity. With one last glance, Rosina went to another location.
Rosina glared at a grave, took the petals and threw the stem on Perise’s tomb. "I hate you the most," she stated with a vile tone. She took an orb from her pocket.
It was an empty orb until Rosina shook it.
"Perise, co out," Rosina stated before throwing the orb on the ground. She called for Perise’s soul to co forward from the void.
A cloud of black smoke appeared and ford to beco a human-like appearance.
"Ack!" Perise gasped when the smoke vanished on his face, but his body was coated to prevent him from taking a single step.
"Finally," Rosina said with pure hatred. She didn’t want to talk with Perise’s soul, but she needed a piece of information from him.
"Wh-who are you?" Perise spoke slowly as it was harder for him to use his vocal cords.
"It doesn’t matter," Rosina replied and gestured her hand to the side, which made the smoke covered Perise’s eyes and prevented him from seeing her appearance. "I have a question for you," she added.
"Ah, what will I gain from you?" Perise smirked. Even though he couldn’t understand how he was able to speak again and converse with another wolf. He was sure the woman he was talking with was powerful enough.
Rosina gritted her teeth. She was a little envious of Ambra since she was the one who killed Perise. It should have been her.
"I will reward you if you can give what I want to hear," Rosina said, crossing her arms.
"Hmm, I like that. What do you want?" Perise asked with a grin.
"Tell , where is the body of your second wife?" Rosina asked. She didn’t care about Perise’s first wife, but rather the second since it was Draco’s mother.
"My second wife...." Perise’s head tilt to the side. He tried his best to rember the woman’s face, but his mory was a bit blurry. "What do you want to know about her?" he asked.
"Her body," Rosina rolled her eyes since she didn’t want to repeat what she had said.
"What do you an her body?" Perise’s grin grew wider in amusent.
Rosina was about to repeat, but she stopped when she got a hint at how Perise was talking to her.
"She’s alive," Rosina whispered in realization.
"You tell . I died before her. HAHA!" Perise laughed loudly. He wasn’t affected by his death since he had already accepted it.
Rosina fisted since she thought Draco’s mother was dead but wasn’t sure if she was alive either.
"Be gone. You’re useless," Rosina was about to flick her finger to bring Perise back into the void since she got nothing from him, but he spoke.
"Who’s the father of that child, huh?" Perise stated with a grin. "Is it mine—" he added, but Rosina had already evaporated him.
"That f^cker," Rosina muttered and flicked her tongue. She glanced to the side before walking toward the Castle.
Behind the tree was Vicenzo hiding. He decided to split from the group and followed Rosina into the forest to see what she was doing. He wasn’t expecting to see sothing bizarre.
Rosina had sensed Vicenzo’s presence the first second, but she didn’t mind him. After all, she wanted to test his loyalty, but showing him her powers was extre.
"What the—" Vicenzo covered his mouth to prevent any sound from escaping. He was sweating terribly, and even his wolf backed away in fear. His body was shaking, and his knees weakened, causing him to fall to the ground.
’The Queen is the real d-demon in this r-realm,’ Vicenzo thought and was about to mind-link Caj to stop sending the troops to the 13th pack, but sothing inside told him to let it be.
"They are all going to die," Vicenzo muttered when he realized that no matter the struggle. They couldn’t win against a powerful wolf.
