In the days that followed, under Ning Feng's series of policies, Agakure began to develop at a breathtaking pace.

Especially the matter of Uchiha Feng successfully intimidating the Third Tsuchikage and extorting Iwagakure—it spread throughout the entire ninja world.

At first, many ninja scoffed when they heard the news, assuming it was fake, probably just another braggart spreading rumors.

After all, the terror of Iwagakure was sothing countless ninja had witnessed with their own eyes.

But soon, as more and more details of the incident erged—and more and more witnesses ca forward to testify—discussion of Uchiha Feng suddenly swept across the entire ninja world.

So said that Uchiha Feng was Konoha's rising star, and that this incident was Konoha deliberately giving Iwagakure a lesson.

Others claid that Uchiha Feng was nothing more than a weakling, and that the whole affair was rely an act jointly staged by Iwagakure and other villages…

In short, opinions about Uchiha Feng varied wildly.

Of course, compared to the rest of the ninja world, the happiest people were undoubtedly those ninja from Agakure and nearby countries who had long suffered under Iwagakure's oppression.

Many ninja, after hearing the news, even chose to defect to Agakure, hoping to contribute their own strength to resisting Iwagakure.

At this mont, Land of Rain.

Agakure.

Rain Shadow Residence.

Inside the residence, Ning Feng sat quietly behind his desk, listening to Konan's report.

"Since Lord Feng returned to Agakure, our village has made enormous breakthroughs in all aspects—especially in manpower," Konan said softly.

"In just these three days, more than two hundred chūnin have joined us, along with over ten jōnin."

"These people are basically ninja dissatisfied with Iwagakure's rule—so were hunted by Iwagakure ninja, others hold deep grudges against them."

"Besides manpower, Nagato's squads have also been fully assembled. We now have thirty-four Agakure jōnin forming our Anbu, ready to follow Lord Feng's orders at any ti."

As she spoke, Konan handed over a stack of ticulously compiled reports.

Looking at the extraordinarily detailed data, Ning Feng was first stunned, then delighted.

He hadn't expected that in just three short days, Agakure would gain so many talented ninja—and that the Anbu had already been rebuilt.

Clearly, when it ca to organizing Anbu, Nagato truly had exceptional talent.

What surprised Ning Feng even more was the sheer number of ninja who had flocked to Agakure while he was away.

"Very good. The developnt in manpower is extrely encouraging," Ning Feng said.

"What about the other aspects?"

Judging by the current rate of recruitnt, Agakure would soon rival so of the dium-sized ninja villages.

And a dium-sized ninja village ant having all the foundations necessary to beco a major one.

"Weapon workshops and weapon factories have all been successfully completed," Konan continued.

"Over the past three days alone, they've been producing over ten thousand ninja tools per day."

"Many Akatsuki mbers who previously lacked equipnt now have ample supplies thanks to these workshops and factories."

"As a result, the overall combat strength of the Akatsuki has increased dramatically."

When speaking of the weapon workshops, Konan herself was visibly excited.

"Ten thousand per day… not bad at all," Ning Feng nodded slightly.

He didn't bother reviewing the rest of the data and handed the reports back to Konan.

"If that's all, then I'll take my leave, Lord Feng," Konan said.

With a flicker of movent, she vanished to continue her work.

Watching Konan's departing figure, Ning Feng stretched lazily, a hint of relief flashing through his eyes.

In the days since taking control of Agakure, he had spent a trendous amount of energy overseeing its developnt.

Even with the help of the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, all that fatigue ultimately accumulated on his own body.

Still, he had to admit—it was incredibly fulfilling to govern a ninja village.

Watching everything being built and taking root right before his eyes was a feeling few could ever experience.

Whoosh.

With a flicker, when Ning Feng opened his eyes again, he was already standing in one of Agakure's streets.

Rain still fell from the sky, but this Agakure was clearly different from the cold, oppressive one of the original story.

Along the streets, countless civilians were selling snacks and small treats.

People walked beneath umbrellas, accompanying their loved ones through the rain, sampling all kinds of delicious food.

It was hard to connect this warm, lively scene with the Agakure that, just days ago, had still been suffering under the oppression of Iwagakure ninja.

Even Ning Feng couldn't help but smile at the sight.

As he walked, many Agakure civilians bowed respectfully upon seeing him. So even warmly invited him to try their homade snacks.

They all knew very well that without Ning Feng, the Third Rain Shadow, they would never have been able to enjoy such peaceful lives.

"Third Rain Shadow, Lord Uchiha Feng—if it weren't for you, our whole family would've died in the chaos of war!"

"That's right! Without Lord Uchiha Feng, Agakure would never be what it is today!"

"It was Lord Uchiha Feng who ended Agakure's decades-long civil war!"

Gratitude filled countless faces.

Hearing their words, Ning Feng felt his sense of accomplishnt surge.

Just as he was idly strolling and preparing to return to the Rain Shadow Residence, a faint figure in the far distance suddenly caught his attention.

Normally, such a presence would only earn him a fleeting glance—but this figure caused Ning Feng to stop for a long, long ti.

The reason was simple.

Above that figure's head floated four characters—

"Uchiha Madara"—written in quotation marks.

Although in the original story this person was actually Kakashi's teammate, Uchiha Obito—later one of the greatest bosses—Ning Feng had never expected that Uchiha Obito would appear here.

As Ning Feng was thinking this, Obito's crimson Mangekyō Sharingan suddenly burst forth with a sinister gleam.

In the next instant, Uchiha Obito vanished without warning and reappeared directly behind Ning Feng—his space–ti ninjutsu in action.

Just as Obito's right hand was about to grab Ning Feng's shoulder, a cold smile spread across his face…

But in the very next mont, sothing happened that shocked Uchiha Obito—

Uchiha Feng had avoided his attack entirely and, without any warning, appeared right behind him instead.
