The psionic space collapsed, imdiately dissolving into a nothingness painted solely by darkness before the black faded to reveal the Collector's current surroundings.
The ti spent inside of a psionic space was unpredictable, the Collector knew, especially in the case that a psionic space was both large and unstable.
Yet, the Collector had not expected this. It had still expected to be fully subrged under the lake of Vimur, still in its tamorphosis cocoon. For the evolution that the Collector had undergone was an extrely extensive one.
Magnitudes more extensive than any it had undertaken before aside from the initial anomalous evolution that had granted it magic and, as it now ca to know, a deep tie with this entity known as the 'White Voice'.
The ramifications of this 'White Voice', its ties to the draconid that uttered its na and to the Collective shard system that it was now intrinsically tied to were all thoughts the Collector would process at a later ti.
For instead of being within the dark depths of the lake water, the Collector was now peering down at the lake from far above.

The Collector oriented itself, and it understood now that it was that its size was simply prodigious. Its head and shoulders erged out of the surface of the lake, every tiny movent from the Collector generating rolling waves that washed outwards, crashing against the cliff walls of ice surrounding it with solid impact.
The depth of the lake must have been nearly forty ters. The Collector assessed that its current height was at exactly fifty ters.
The entire evolutionary process had been aberrant, though not to the sa degree as it had been before when the Collector first lded magic into itself.
