April 28, 1987. Tuesday. Calvin and Hobbes' Day Nth.

"Do you an to say that it's ti for bed and you still haven't our story for school?!" One Calvin hounded.

"I figured the story was already done!" The other Calvin said.

To which, Calvin from 6:30 clamored. "How could it be done if you didn't write it?!"

"Obviously it had to be done before now, because it's 8:30 and I'm supposed to be in bed." Said 8:30 Calvin, all the more evidenced by his pajama'd attire.

"Wait a minute!" Past Calvin realized. "If the story had been written in your past, that would an that I should've written it!"

To which, future Calvin pointingly questioned. "Well, why didn't you?!"

"Because I ca to the future to pick it up when it was DONE!" Reasoned Calvin while the other also reasoned. "If you hadn't screwed up my past, your future wouldn't be like this."

An absurd scenario, most assuredly. Yet it tickled the mind and everyone's urge to laugh as well.

----------

April 29, 1987. Wednesday. Calvin and Hobbes' Day Nth.

"Hold it. Let's figure this out. I'm you at 6:30 and you're at 8:30. Neither of us did the howork." Calvin analyzed.

"Right." The other him echoed.

"That ans the howork should've been done between my ti and your ti." Calvin continued.

"Right." Echoed other him again, even adding. "We needed to do it at 7:30."

"But the 7:30 Clavin didn't do it, or you'd have it now at 8:30." The boy explained while the other boy realized. "Yeah! This is his fault!"

"That lazy little punk! He'll get us both in trouble!"

"Let's go get him!"

The two Calvins had entirely furious and devious expressions at this point.

Only for the readers to relish on knowing that the duo were essentially just circling back to themselves.

----------

April 30, 1987. Thursday. Calvin and Hobbes' Day Nth.

It reaaly didn't take long for the duo to hop onto their "ti machine", with them saying. "Hobbeses, the 8:30 Calvin and I are going to go back to 7:30 and make THAT Calvin do the howork."

"We'll wait here." The Hobbeses were really the most lax. "All this ti travel makes us queasy."

"We'll be right back."

"Off we go!"

Off they go, indeed

Only for the tiger to say. "This has to be the least efficient way to write a paper."

Whilst the other tiger comnted. "All this modern technology just makes people try to do everything at once."

------------

May 1, 1987. Tuesday. Calvin and Hobbes' Day Nth.

"Ah ha!" The ti-traveling Calvins exclaid. "Here we are, right at 7:30!"

Only for a third Calvin to say. "Yikes! My past and future!"

As if one Calvin wasn't enough of a handful... and two were already shocking... a third one had to join in.

Resulting in banter that was unlike any other.

"Put down that comic book and do our howork!"

"Yeah! Get to work, you loafer!"

"Hey!"

"Why should I do all the work? Either of you could do it too!"

"But I didn't at 6:30 and now it's 7:30."

"And at 8:30, it will be too late. You're the last chance."

"Now, are you gonna start writing, or do we have to pound you?"

"Go ahead and hit ! My future self will be the one who hurts!"

"HEY!"
