After the 99th Confession , The Cold School Beauty’s Personality Collapsed Chapter 28
Bang!
A powerful force shook the basketball hoop, producing a dull thud.
Before the crew-cut guy could react, the ball had already slamd down, landing on his foot.
“Hiss—damn it!”
The crew-cut guy felt as though an iron block had smashed his foot, wincing in pain as his face turned red.
Despite the pain, he didn’t erupt in anger like before. Instead, he looked at Qin Luo in shock, just like everyone else on the court.
All eyes were now on the man hanging in mid-air, gripping the hoop with both hands, expressions of sheer disbelief plastered across their faces.
On a basketball court, the most exciting plays are always three-point shots and dunks.
The forr is a display of technical prowess, elegant and precise, while the latter demonstrates raw power, showcasing the beauty of controlled violence.
Qin Luo’s dunk had encapsulated that violent beauty perfectly, leaving everyone in stunned silence.
Dunks are common enough in professional basketball gas. Anyone with the right height and proper training can dunk. But at this finance-focused university, the basketball team wasn’t the primary focus, and while there were a few exceptionally gifted players who could pull off a dunk, they were rare.
That’s why such a scene was rarely witnessed here at the school.
Today, however, Qin Luo had treated the crowd to a feast for the eyes.
In the beginning, Qin Luo had only made one out of three shots, scoring just eight points. He didn’t seem to care about the ga at all, allowing the crew-cut guy to dominate.
The crew-cut guy, on the other hand, had hardly missed any shots, pushing the score to 48 to 8.
Yet, just as everyone thought the match was a foregone conclusion, a dramatic reversal took place.
Qin Luo’s consecutive dunks, especially the last one, were etched into the minds of the onlookers.
Everyone had assud he was playing half-heartedly and would eventually leave the court in sha. But in just a few short minutes, he had managed to astonish them again and again.
The stark contrast between their expectations and reality turned the crowd into a chorus of fans, cheering loudly in excitent.
“Unbelievable!!”
“Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!”
“That dunk was insanely cool! He’s a total badass!”
“Qin Luo, I love you! Ahhh!”
“You’re so amazing, senior! I want to have your babies!!”
The shouts rose like a tidal wave, crashing over the basketball court as if it had transford into a personal concert for Qin Luo.
The figure that had just leapt down from the hoop was now the star of the show, basking in the spotlight.
Han Yiqun, Wang Chuan, and Li Xuan were utterly speechless, looking at Qin Luo as though they were seeing him for the first ti.
They had lived together for almost two years, forming a deep friendship over that ti, and they thought they knew each other well.
Yet they never imagined that Qin Luo had such a hidden talent.
That dunk alone would have made won scream, but even the guys couldn’t help but cheer.
As for the girls watching from the sidelines, they were far more emotional, struggling to maintain their composure.
Hao ng bounced up and down, shouting, “Qin Luo, you’re so handso! Ahhh!”
Shi Yulu cupped her hands around her mouth, yelling, “So cool!!!”
Jia Ting, standing beside them, could only roll her eyes at her friends’ limited vocabulary.
But even soone as well-spoken as she was at a loss for words to describe her feelings in that mont.
If she had to choose a word, it would be "thrilled."
Never before had a guy stirred her emotions so intensely.
Jia Ting stared blankly at Qin Luo, her mind wandering back to the ti he had carried her to the dical room, bought buns, sat with her, and helped apply dicine.
Her mories paused at the mont when she lay on the hospital bed, with Qin Luo leaning over her.
Her face flushed slightly, and she shook her head to clear her thoughts. Then, almost reflexively, she glanced at Ji Yan.
The school beauty stood still, her eyes fixed on Qin Luo, unblinking.
That usually cold, indifferent face seed to have lted, revealing a hint of fascination.
Jia Ting quietly looked away.
For so reason, she felt a little uneasy.
On the court, Qin Luo picked up the basketball that had rolled off to the side, holding it casually in one hand, and said to the crew-cut guy, “Shall we continue?”
The crew-cut guy shot Qin Luo a furious glance, ready to say sothing, but the pain in his foot and shoulder made him hesitate.
He clenched his teeth and finally muttered, “I quit. I admit defeat.”
Qin Luo remained expressionless. “Fine. Now apologize.”
The crew-cut guy’s fists clenched tightly, but he stood frozen.
Han Yiqun shouted from the sidelines, “Apologize!”
Li Xuan and Wang Chuan joined in, “Apologize! Apologize!”
The girls followed, and soon the crowd of onlookers chid in as well.
The shouts echoed across the court, causing the crew-cut guy’s face to turn even redder, his eyes bulging in humiliation.
He wanted nothing more than to just apologize and end this, but his teenage pride made it impossible to back down. The thought of bowing his head felt worse than being beaten.
Losing was one thing, but apologizing? How could he hold his head high at school after that?
He hadn’t expected to lose, and now he was overwheld by the situation, even considering running away.
At that mont, Wang Chuan walked up beside him and said coldly, “Go apologize.”
The crew-cut guy grimaced, looking at him with pleading eyes. “Co on, Wang…”
“Get over there and apologize!” Wang Chuan hissed, lowering his voice. “Don’t make things worse for yourself.”
“I…”
The crew-cut guy stamred, unable to finish his sentence. Like an old man nearing the end of his life, he dragged his feet over to Ji Yan.
“Sorry,” he muttered under his breath.
Suddenly, a basketball hit him in the back, causing him to stumble.
“Bow your head and say ‘I’m sorry,’” Qin Luo’s cold voice commanded from behind.
The crew-cut guy turned to glare at Qin Luo, about to retort, but the sight of Wang Chuan’s furious gaze silenced him.
Swallowing his anger, the crew-cut guy finally bent over in front of Ji Yan, muttering, “I’m sorry.”
