Qin Yun hesitated for a mont and replied very tactfully, "I ca to see Mr. Pei about sothing."
"No way, you two have been together all day. What could possibly need to wait until you’re resting to discuss? There’s definitely sothing going on! Sister Yun, are you trying to hide Mr. Pei? You can’t do that."
Wang Li laughed, her expression sowhat amusing but not malicious.
Even Pei Yan’s die-hard fan Li Ning didn’t show any discontent and was, in fact, more gossip-driven than Wang Li.
"Sister Yun, is Mr. Pei a qualified boyfriend? Is he also particularly cold when he’s with you? He probably isn’t. I see how he pampers you in day-to-day life." Li Ning thoughtfully rubbed his chin. "No wonder Mr. Pei is biased; he smiles at you but looks serious with Jingjing. Turns out there’s a reason for that."

"You don’t like Mr. Pei?" Xiao Hu asked Wang Li, with an air of mischief.
Wang Li frowned, "I do, I’ve always liked Mr. Pei. Mr. Pei is practically my dream man."
Xiao Hu asked Xiaoxiao again, "You don’t like Mr. Pei?"
Xiaoxiao nodded sincerely, "I do. I’ve watched all of Mr. Pei’s works; I’m his most loyal fan."
Xiao Hu turned to look at Li Ning and Bai Ziyu, "Let’s forget about you two. I can tell you like Mr. Pei, what about Zhao Lan and Lin Yihan?"
"I like him."
Everyone admitted they liked Pei Yan.
Xiao Hu finally looked at Qin Yun, his gaze sowhat wandering, "So isn’t it perfectly normal for Sister Yun to like Mr. Pei? What’s the fuss about?"
Everyone nodded thoughtfully; Xiao Hu seed to have a point. Many people like Mr. Pei, so there’s nothing unexpected about it.
Seeing the realization dawn upon everyone, Qin Yun turned the tables and asked, "Why are you all together, did you co looking for ?"
Wang Li shook her head, "Of course not. We went to find you, but you weren’t in your room. So we ca to find Mr. Pei, only to find you instead, which surprised us."
"Yeah, yeah, almost thought my idol ended his single life; was about to tweet the celebration." Li Ning nodded, holding his phone, seemingly ready to tweet.
"Where is Mr. Pei?" Xiaoxiao finally asked a sensible question, but no one knew the answer.
"Let’s go outside and look."
"Let’s go."
As they turned to leave, they saw Pei Yan lazily leaning against the archway in the corridor; who knows how long he’d been there.
Everyone froze in place, looking at each other.
Xiaoxiao awkwardly greeted, "Um, Mr. Pei, you’re back?"
Had Mr. Pei heard all the jokes they made about him just now??!!
Pei Yan nodded lightly.
Then casually spoke, "Do I seem hard to get along with?"
All of them shook their heads quickly, "No no, Mr. Pei is not hard to get along with, we were just joking, please don’t take it to heart!!"
