“What ‘s wrong with you tonight?” Qiao i asked curiously.

“? I’m fine!” Qian’e said as she sat unsteadily on the bed.

“I don’t believe you. You must be hiding sothing from . Are there still secrets that you can’t tell ?” Qiao i asked.

Qian’e sighed. It was not that she did not want to tell Qiao i but Qiao i was not in a much better situation now. She did not want to cause Qiao i any more trouble because of her trivial issues.

“Tell !” Qiao i said anxiously.

Qian’e grabbed onto Qiao i unsteadily and said, “Alright, alright, alright! I’ll tell you! It’s… it’s about my family.”

“What?” Hearing that, Qiao i lost focus for a mont. After she gathered her thoughts, she said, “What do the Qian family mbers want with you?”

“Apart from asking for money, what else can they want?” Qian’e said disdainfully.

I give her the sa amount of money which my parents and uncles give her to show their filial piety. I always tell her that it’s not good for to cross the line. Even so, that was a lot of money which Old Madam Qian received every month. Qiao i felt that the old lady was getting too good a deal.

She counted that she had t more than 30 people! She had never even t so of them before. She wondered how much effort Old Madam Qian had put in to seek out these people one by one.

“This is your family issue, so I can’t say anything. I’ll support you in whatever you plan to do,” Qiao i said.

“I don’t want to stay in the capital anymore. This place is full of blood-sucking leeches! If I continue to stay in the capital, they will definitely harass all the ti. One of these days, they won’t be satisfied with just money and will want to take everything I have! I want to go to Guang City! To another place! Anywhere!
