The Dragon’s Treasure (2)

The man stood up and walked to the young man’s side, his voice low and gentle. “Stay behind on the boat and wait for us. We will return quickly.”

Shi An blinked. “Can I go with you guys?”

Mu Heng raised his hand, his fingertips touching the other party’s soft white cheeks, his voice softer. “Do you want to go?”

Shi An nodded her head.

“Really?”

Shi An nodded again.

Under the silvery white eyelashes, Mu Heng’s eyes were blue and unpredictable.

His fingertips ran along the young man’s cheeks, resting montarily on the side of the other party’s soft lips without a trace, and his voice was low and slightly husky as he slowly said, “You know how to make agree to it.”

It was difficult at first but easy later on.

Shi An barely thought much about it this ti. He directly tiptoed over and kissed the other side on the lips naturally.

Mu Heng smiled briefly.

He slowly and thodically pressed the back of the other person’s delicate white neck, sucking on the young man’s soft, slightly cool lips, and released him only before Shi An was out of breath.

Mu Heng used his fingertips to rub away the wet marks on the other party’s lower lip and said softly, “Okay, let’s go together.”

“…”

Wen Yao, who had not yet had the chance to go out on the side, had a stiff expression and a blank mind.

Although she greatly admired and respected Mu Heng and knew for a long ti that there was sothing between him and Shi An, it was completely different between “knowing” and “witnessing.”

Generally speaking, after seeing an idol fall into the mortal world and being affected by another personal emotion, the follower would always feel so rejection for the person who caused it.

But Wen Yao could not feel this sentint no matter what.

Because…

Her superior looked more like the abductor…

Wen Yao was shocked by her thoughts.

She kept her head lowered and looked down at her toes, solemnly examining her shoes and doing her best to try to pretend she was not in this room.

Mu Heng did not have the sa intention of avoiding suspicion.

He pulled Shi An, turned his head to look at Wen Yao, and calmly instructed, “Prepare to go ashore.”

Along the way, Shi An scanned the rcenary base before him.

The tents had been destroyed in the battle just now, quietly lying crooked on the ground and a tiny fire was burning slowly and silently next to them at the mont.

The air was filled with the sll of blood and smoke.

The ground was also sprinkled with blood that had not yet dried as if it had witnessed a cruel battle.

All the rcenaries remaining in the camp were secured and slowly brought up to the boats.

Shi An withdrew his gaze and hurriedly accelerated a few steps to keep up with Mu Heng’s pace up ahead.

They passed through the deep, dark tunnel and ca to the cave’s interior.

The do was tall, the walls were inlaid with glittering gems of various colors, and the top of the cave overhead was open with a modest skylight. The clear daylight shone in and fell on the jewels, making the large cave lit like daylight, without any sense of being enclosed.

Shi An: “!!!”

He subconsciously stopped in his tracks and moved over.

Shi An’s gaze slid from one corner of the stone wall to another, carefully surveying and admiring each gem on the wall. Soon, he saw so familiar gem textures.

So of them were rubies that the human kingdom had offered to him.

These diamonds had once been buried in an ancient shipwreck in the deep sea for hundreds of years and it had taken him thousands of years of hard work to retrieve them.

And those few gems set on the do were looted by him from a newly established rmaid kingdom.

In short…

They were all his!

Shi An was so angry that smoke ca out of his head.

These damned humans!!!

They robbed his treasures and casually misused, wasted, and completely disregarded them. It was even more outrageous here as they had used his treasures as wall decoration here.

A glint of golden red fire swept through the young man’s dark eyes like a blazing fire burning up.

At this ti, he heard the sound of footsteps coming from behind.

Mu Heng had finished his conversation with the Bureau mber in charge of the investigation and was walking toward Shi An’s direction.

No. No.

I can’t get angry now.

Shi An took a deep breath, blinked his eyes, and forcibly suppressed the anger in his heart.

Mu Heng stood by Shi An’s side and raised his eyes to look at the gem on the wall.

He asked, “Do you like them?”

Shi An lied through his gritted teeth, “… They’re only so-so.”

Pah!

These were all mine!

Mine!

Mu Heng nodded. “Let’s go and look at the result of Wen Yao’s interrogation.”

After saying that, he turned around and walked out.

Shi An reluctantly followed Mu Heng for two steps, but his eyes remained glued to the gems set on the walls as if his soul had been sucked in, unable to step away.

Could…

Could it be that these humans were going to leave these treasures here?

Mu Heng took a few steps forward and stopped to turn his head when he saw that Shi An was not following him.

“What’s wrong?”

Shi An racked his brain and said hesitantly, “T-That… the reason you look for the treasures is to set up a trap for the dragon, right?”

Mu Heng slightly narrowed his eyes, his silver-white eyelashes blocking the emotions under his eyes.

“Yes.”

“Since it’s like that, shouldn’t the gems on the wall also be included?”

Shi An pointed his finger to the bright shiny gems on the wall and said, “In short, the dragon will probably like these gems. If you want to attract the dragon, why don’t we take them too? Maybe the result will be stronger?”

Mu Heng asked indifferently, “Is that so?”

Shi An nodded vigorously. “Right!”

Mu Heng steadily stared over. His blue eyes were full of hidden desires.

Shi An was a bit uncomfortable by his gaze.

After a few seconds, he moved his eyes away and waved to the few mbers of the Bureau behind him, his voice low and cold, with a trace of imperceptible emotion.

“Dig out the gems on the wall and take them away.”
