Ye Qian saw that Ye Ling was ignoring her and went about her own business while her words attracted her father’s sidelong glance and Shen Bin’s direct gaze, making her face feel as if it were on fire. Ye Qian avoided Shen Bin’s gaze, but when she t her father’s eyes, there was a look of grievance in them.
Ye He Ping seeing his younger daughter like this, glanced at his elder daughter who was picking vegetables and didn’t say anything. He turned back to ask his younger daughter, "Ye Qian, what’s wrong?"
"Nothing." Ye Qian replied softly, lowering her head.
But she gritted her teeth tightly. Her father asked in front of so many people; how could she speak up? Did he know she wouldn’t speak up, so he asked directly? Thinking about how her father favored Ye Ling, Ye Qian felt suffocated, but she didn’t want to miss this opportunity. Just as she was torn, she heard Ye Ling speak.
"Dad, Ye Qian just suddenly asked sothing, and I was totally confused by her, so I didn’t respond. She wouldn’t be angry about this, right?" Ye Ling pursed her lips and looked at Ye Qian, smiling slightly when Ye Qian suddenly raised her head.
That faint smile in Ye Qian’s eyes seed like mockery.

Her annoyed and angry deanor brought out the coquettishness of the younger daughter, making her more noticeable compared to Ye Ling’s composure. Ye Qian saw from the corner of her eye that Shen Bin was also looking at her, feeling secretly pleased, but she maintained a helpless facade.

"Get out. From now on, never appear in front of again. As for the living expenses I promised you, you won’t get a penny. Leave," Ye He Ping roared.
The shout was so loud that even Ye Ling, standing not far away, felt her ears hurting, and holding her hand tightly, Shen Bin glanced at her. Ye Ling turned her head, smiling reassuringly at him to let him know she was fine.
"Ye He Ping, if you dare break your promise, I’ll sue you." Bai Xue, both scared and angry, dragged her daughter while shouting, "I’ll go to your unit and talk to your leader about this."
