Bai Xue, of course, was unwilling to leave. No matter how Ye Qian tried to persuade her, it was useless. She just sat right down on the kang bed. Ye Qian helplessly looked at her father. Ye He Ping suppressed his anger, waved his hand, and said, "Let her be."

Ye Ling noticed as well but was worried in her heart. Yet, Shen Bin remarked, "Dad, I’ll go buy the groceries, you and Ye Ling can chat more."
"How could that be?" Ye He Ping disagreed.
Ye Ling pulled her father, "Dad, let him go."
Then, when her father was about to refute, she added, "Let’s steam the rice first, and you co help with the fire."
With sothing to do in his hands, Ye He Ping no longer stopped Shen Bin from going to get groceries, leaving Bai Xue and her daughter in the room. Seeing these three people cooking this early in the morning, Bai Xue felt suspicious in her heart, while Ye Qian glanced at the luggage box on the kang bed, having a hunch inside.
"Mom, my sister and them are leaving, aren’t they? So they ca to Dad’s to have a al." Ye Qian whispered, "You just made Dad angry when we ca in, you should go and help out, no matter what, with my brother-in-law watching."
When ntioning the words ’brother-in-law,’ Ye Qian emphasized them heavily, laced with a hidden resentnt that others wouldn’t detect. She had tried before but was humiliated because of such matters. Fortunately, Shen Bin was tight-lipped; otherwise, if word got out, she would have no face to see anyone.
Especially Ye Ling, who seed to see right through her. Logically with her character, she should have a mocking deanor, but she pretended to be generous and gracious, such hypocrisy simply infuriated Ye Qian.
