I was about to head back, but three or four young n from society suddenly surrounded .
At that mont, Sean Lawson appeared, rubbing his bald head with a fake smile, "You must be The Eldest Miss Hathaway? Let introduce myself, I’m Sean Lawson, just a good citizen!"
One look was enough to know Sean Lawson had co for today, just like the car accident last ti. I wasn’t sure why he was targeting and he had a well-practiced way of evading responsibility.
"Third Master Lawson, right? Do you have business with ?" I asked calmly.
"I never thought The Eldest Miss Hathaway would know about soone like , I feel very honored," Sean Lawson smiled, his face full of wrinkles, "Actually, there’s no better day than today, so let treat The Eldest Miss Hathaway to so tea and make a new friend!"
I frowned, "Third Master Lawson, just say what you want, my friend is coming to find soon, we can have tea another ti, on ."
"It’s going to be today, I know a place with great tea, it’d be a waste not to go. The Eldest Miss Hathaway, my car is right there, shall we?" Sean Lawson pointed to a car by the roadside.
If I refused, Sean Lawson would most likely resort to force, and I’d only suffer losses.
"Fine, let’s have a cup," I glanced around. With so many surveillance caras, Crystal Dawson and others would definitely try to find if I disappeared.
After getting in the car, Sean Lawson sat next to and made a phone call, "We have her, rest assured, it will be done beautifully!"
I vaguely heard a woman’s voice on the other end.
"Third Master Lawson, we shouldn’t have any connection, there’s no reason for you to invite for tea. Can you tell who you’re working for?" I asked.
"The Eldest Miss Hathaway, I know your father’s position, I can’t afford to provoke him, but there’s no choice. I get paid to solve problems for others, it’s how I make my living." Sean Lawson grinned, revealing a set of black teeth, making him look disgusting.
I remained calm, "So the car accident last ti was also you solving a problem?"
Sean Lawson is a brazen and fearless person; he laughed slyly, "Indeed, but there’s always soone above. Now I have backing, so I’m even less afraid."
Him confessing these things made a strong sense of unease rise in my heart.
People only brazenly reveal their cris when planning to silence soone.
Are they planning to take away and silence ? My heart skipped a beat.
After a while, the car stopped at the foot of a mountain.
I was taken up the mountain by Sean Lawson’s n. There was an abandoned villa, and under the dim streetlights on both sides, I could see the villa’s entrance walls with peeling paint.
Just as I was brought inside, a towel was pressed over my mouth and nose, and I soon felt dizzy.

In a daze, I regained a bit of consciousness, and Azure Vaughn’s voice reached my ears.
Her venomous voice was sotis near and sotis distant, "Make sure to notify Ivan Underwood."
"Miss Vaughn, I need to remind you, this Zoe Hathaway’s father is a governnt official. If sothing happens to her, I’ll be in danger. Can you protect ?" Sean Lawson asked.
"Nonsense, have you forgotten my status? Didn’t I protect you during the issues with Ryan Rhodes and Zoe Hathaway’s car accident? What are you afraid of; once my revenge is complete, I’ll send you abroad." Azure Vaughn replied nonchalantly, as if these matters were trivial.
I heard it clearly and never expected that those things that happened before were all Azure Vaughn’s revenge.
Her thods are ruthless, showing no rcy to Ryan Rhodes or at all.
"Hmph, Zoe Hathaway, I won’t let Henry Preston return to your side; he’s mine." Azure Vaughn’s voice suddenly drew near; she seed to be crouching beside , speaking.
"Doesn’t Ivan Underwood also like you? Once he’s here, the real show will begin!"
I didn’t understand what Azure ant, only feeling soone pinching my mouth, pouring water into it.
Then Azure spoke to Sean Lawson, "If word about this gets out, you know what to do. If I get implicated in any way, you won’t get a penny and will end up in jail, understand?"
Sean Lawson was very obedient in front of Azure Vaughn, "Okay, I understand what to do."
While they talked, I felt a strange heat surging from my lower abdon, and I instantly guessed what they had made drink earlier.
To make Henry Preston completely give up on , Azure Vaughn had devised this despicable plan, truly disgusting!
Azure must have left, leaving only Sean Lawson and his n to guard here. Soone touched my face, laughing lewdly, "Boss, can’t we have so fun first?"
"Screw off! You think we can ss with her dad? Touch her, and you’re done for, idiot. Finish this job; once Miss Vaughn’s money is in hand, a bunch of foreign girls will be waiting for you abroad!" Sean Lawson cursed.
It seems Azure Vaughn promised them a substantial amount, enough to make them risk targeting .
