She put down the candy and caught sight of a particularly familiar notebook in the drawer. The cover had a cartoon image of a family of bears.
If her mory served her correctly, that notebook contained notes she had ticulously organized and had lent to Cheng Lie. Later, hadn’t Cheng Lie told her he had lost it?
And now it was here.
Yun Shifei found it odd. Why had Cheng Lie claid it was lost back then, making her feel sad and regretful for quite so ti?
She opened the notebook and noticed so oil stains on it, making it look dirty and ssy.
At that mont, Cheng Lie’s voice ca from behind her.
"Cheng Huai didn’t want to study. When he saw bring the notebook back, he threw it into the trash can. I picked it out, but it was so dirty I couldn’t return it to you, so I lied and said I lost it."
So, that’s what had happened... Yun Shifei’s pupils trembled slightly. The truth had arrived without warning, completely shattering her expectations!
"Also, I don’t actually like eating candy at all. But when you gave it to , I couldn’t refuse."
And slowly, he began to accept it.
At the ti, he had felt there was no place for sweetness in his world. Yet later, he still accepted it.
Because it was sothing she had given him.

Yun Shifei was so shocked at that mont that she didn’t know how to react.
She stood there in a daze. She had always thought Cheng Lie’s feelings for her had only developed recently, but she hadn’t realized they stretched so far back into the past.
No wonder he had been so close to her back then. No wonder he had been so worried about her when she had been in trouble.
But looking at herself now, how foolish her mind had been. Cheng Lie had been so obvious, yet she had never suspected a thing.
Yun Shifei couldn’t help but look at Cheng Lie, who was also staring back at her.

He leaned down, bringing his lips close to Yun Shifei’s ear as he whispered, "So, how about this? Should I show you all of ? Would that finally convince you that I like you?"
As he spoke, Cheng Lie suddenly scooped Yun Shifei into his arms.
Before Yun Shifei could react, the world spun around her, and the next thing she knew, she was on Cheng Lie’s bed.
The man’s body lood over her, blocking out the light. It was dark, oppressive, as if he were the master of the world.
And at this mont, he truly was the master of her world.
Looking into Yun Shifei’s bright, wide eyes and her blank expression, Cheng Lie couldn’t tell whether she simply hadn’t processed what was happening or was genuinely unafraid.
Cheng Lie chose to believe it was the latter.
But even if it were the forr, it made no difference. He had no intention of giving her the chance to react.
He leaned down and pressed his lips onto hers.
Unlike his prior gentle kisses, this one was aggressive, claiming her with undeniable dominance. His movents were possessive, as though he intended to consu her completely, to devour her completely from her lips and teeth.
His actions were forceful, as if venting all the dissatisfaction he had suppressed during this ti.
Ever since Yun Shifei had broken up with him, he had been suppressing himself. On the surface, he might have appeared calm and collected, but in reality, those turbulent emotions were locked away and tightly controlled.
Only by doing so could he live like a normal person. Otherwise, he would have gone mad.
But months of pent-up repression couldn’t possibly be satisfied with just one kiss.
The girl in his arms felt like she was made of water. After plundering her lips, Cheng Lie moved downward, and his hands beca increasingly restless.
Initially stunned, Yun Shifei finally snapped back to her senses when Cheng Lie kissed her.
She had expected it to be a gentle kiss, like before, but to her shock, Cheng Lie was rough, even biting her lip with such force that she was sure it had broken the skin.
Not only that, but his hands had begun wandering, making Yun Shifei feel a surge of fear. She hadn’t thought about things progressing this quickly.
Still, her attempts to struggle were futile against Cheng Lie.
Though he didn’t look particularly strong, his strength was overwhelming, leaving her unable to resist at all.
"Cheng Lie..." Yun Shifei choked out softly, her voice trembling with tears. "Cheng Lie, let go."
Her voice pulled Cheng Lie’s wandering rationality back slightly.
He raised his eyes to look at her. The glimr in her eyes was evidence of unshed tears, threatening to spill.
She was crying.
There was even a trace of fear on her face, as if his actions had frightened her.
Seeing her like this, the frenzy within him gradually faded, retreating into the depths of his being.
Cheng Lie released her.
Yun Shifei imdiately sat up, hastily adjusting her clothing. Fortunately, she had worn conservative clothes today.
The two of them sat on the edge of the bed, neither saying anything. An uncomfortable silence settled over the room.
The heat in Cheng Lie’s body gradually cooled.
At that mont, he began to wonder, was she angry now? In the heat of passion, he had treated her that way.
She was such a timid girl, surely she was scared. She had even cried.

She looked like she was trying to flee. Cheng Lie’s dark eyes narrowed slightly, and he imdiately said, "No."
As soon as he uttered the word, he noticed Yun Shifei’s shoulders tremble slightly. Was she really that scared of him?
Cheng Lie let out a low laugh. Was this all it took to fear him? Didn’t she know there was a far more terrifying side of him that he hadn’t shown her yet?
"What’s wrong?" Yun Shifei asked.
Seeing her on the verge of tears, Cheng Lie’s gaze landed on the wound on her lips. Dried blood was visible, making her look both pitiful and disheveled.
Realizing what he had done, his tone softened. "Your lip is injured. Let take a look."
Of course it was injured—he had been the one who bit her so hard just now.
Yun Shifei pressed her lips together lightly. "It’s fine. It’ll heal quickly."
But Cheng Lie was already standing and heading out. "Co with ."
Yun Shifei frowned slightly. Fine, he was a big shot now, full of that commanding aura where his word was law.
So she decided to go along with him for now. After all, wasn’t she the one poking the tiger earlier?
