Qin Jinhai switched his tone. "Not everyone is as true to themselves as Madam Xiaosu, always needing to show face even in places like this. Isn’t the stage the Su Family gave you large enough for your posturing?"
"Mind your own business!" Li Hua retorted. "Give back that bitch!"
"You traded soone destined to die for ten billion, Madam Xiaosu. You struck an incredible bargain, yet you co to specifically to act innocent?"
Li Hua wasn’t foolish. "If that bitch stays alive, she’ll cause trouble sooner or later!"
"Then why didn’t you take advantage of the chaos on the fighting stage just now to kill her? Afraid of having blood on your hands, or afraid Mr. Xiaosu would bla you?"

Li Hua looked with a pang of regret at the ten billion that was almost hers, unable to bring herself to say she’d return it.
Qin Jinhai glanced at Li Hua, wondering what Fu Bing had said or done to her in the hallway.

Qin Jinhai watched the farce on the fighting stage.

It was to investigate Fu Bing’s origins. Although Fu Bing’s origins remained undiscovered, he had ended up learning the secrets of most people in Jiangcheng.

Qin Jinhai sat in the driver’s seat, driving silently.

Li Hua returned to the Su Family’s separate courtyard, furious.

Li Qing nodded.
Li Hua said, "The matter with Han Hu is more or less settled for now. How do you plan to deal with Fu Bing?"
"Should we auction her off too? Let other n sleep with her. Even if she doesn’t die, she’ll be too ashad to ever appear before Qin Jinhai again."
"Always Qin Jinhai," Li Hua cursed irritably. "He’s related to you by blood; your fondness for him is useless. More importantly, he doesn’t like you."
"Then what should I do? I just like him."
Li Hua had a headache. "I advise you to give up on that idea. You can’t marry Qin Jinhai or Qin Jinmo. Your aunt won’t let you get near her two sons."
"She just married into a wealthy family herself and doesn’t give a damn about her own relatives’ welfare. If she had been willing to lend a hand, our Li Family wouldn’t be in such a miserable state."
Li Hua didn’t reply.
Li Qing had been too young at the ti to rember how the Li Family had treated Li Yuan.

Seeing Li Qing was still clueless and clearly hadn’t grasped the subtleties, Li Hua didn’t waste any more words on her and went upstairs to see Xiaobao.
Xiaobao lay in his crib, his small, chubby hands batting at a little bell hanging above him.
The tinkling of the bell made him giggle.

She had to dote on him properly.
"Mama’s precious little treasure, let Mama give you a kiss."
The mont she picked him up, Xiaobao burst into tears.
His wails echoed throughout the entire separate courtyard.
Su He’s car had just parked in the courtyard’s garage when he heard the child’s crying. His face imdiately filled with anger.
"What are you all good for, letting my son cry like this so late at night?"
The servants all felt like they’d been kicked in the stomach and didn’t dare to make a sound.
Su He stord into the house indignantly.
Li Qing stood up and timidly called out, "Brother-in-law."
Su He glanced at her face and chest but didn’t respond, quickly striding upstairs.
