Chapter 401: Chapter 401: Just Because You’re Sweet-Talking
“Pfft… You really are a little piglet that loves to sleep,” Yu Cheng couldn’t help but laugh.
Unfortunately, he didn’t bring a cara this ti. Otherwise, he would have definitely recorded this scene to keep as a nto. When Little Lamb saw it, she would surely get flush with rage.
“Little Lamb, ti to get up for breakfast,” Yu Cheng called softly, afraid to scare Jiang Mianmian.
“Mmm…” Jiang Mianmian rubbed her eyes and turned over, still wanting to sleep.
“Little Lamb, get up quickly. If you wake up late, there will be no breakfast for you,” Yu Cheng teased her.
Upon hearing Yu Cheng’s voice, Jiang Mianmian opened her eyes and saw his handso face enlarged right in front of her own.
“Brother Yu…” Jiang Mianmian, just awakened, called out in a soft and sticky voice.
“Up you get, lazy pig,” Yu Cheng joked with her.
It took Jiang Mianmian over ten seconds to fully wake up. She sat up, pulled the blanket up to cover herself, and said seriously, “Brother Yu, how can you enter my room without permission? That’s not right. Next ti you want to co into my room, you must knock and wait for my permission before entering. After all, n and won should keep their distance, you know?”
Yu Cheng saw Jiang Mianmian, a little bun who hadn’t yet grown up, gravely emphasizing the need for n and won to keep their distance and he had to restrain himself to keep from laughing on the spot.
In Yu Cheng’s eyes, Jiang Mianmian was just an immature little brat, and little brats love to play grown-up. He didn’t take to heart at all what she said about n and won needing to keep their distance.
He held back his laughter and said seriously, “Little Lamb, you’re accusing unfairly. I did knock before coming in; it’s just that you were sleeping like a little piglet and didn’t hear knocking, and you were even snoring.”
After speaking, Yu Cheng put on a look of disgust on purpose, just to tease her.
“I did not snore, Brother Yu, you’re lying,” Jiang Mianmian retorted.
“Really, I heard it with my own ears,” Yu Cheng pointed to his ear and said with a smile.
“Hmph, I don’t believe it. Okay, Brother Yu, please step out for a mont, I’m going to change my clothes,” Jiang Mianmian dropped the subject.
“Alright, make sure you co out quickly to eat,” Yu Cheng said as he left and considerately closed the door behind him.
By the ti Jiang Mianmian had changed and washed up, Su Wanyu had already brought all the breakfast to the table.
She had bought so ready-made food from the Supply and Marketing Cooperative, accompanied by stead buns and porridge, for yet another hearty breakfast.
“Mianmian, co and eat,” Su Wanyu called out.
“Wow, there’s my favorite at bun, Mom, I knew you were the best to , mua~.” Jiang Mianmian hopped over and gave Su Wanyu a slobbery kiss.
“Oh dear, you’ve got all wet with saliva. You’re such a sweet-talker, hurry up and eat,” Su Wanyu said with mock disgust, but her smile couldn’t be more genuine.
After everyone had finished breakfast, Su Wanyu instructed, “Mianmian, later on take Brother Yu out to play with the local kids here. He doesn’t know anyone around here, so you look after him, got it?”
Jiang Mianmian glanced at the blazing sun outside and asked, “Brother Yu, do you want to go out and play?”
Yu Cheng also didn’t like playing childish gas and toys with those kids, so he shook his head, “I don’t want to go out.”
Upon hearing this, Jiang Mianmian imdiately regained her energy, “That’s great, Brother Yu, I don’t want to go out and play crazily either. It’s too hot today. Let’s sit under the big banyan tree in the yard. There’s shade there and a breeze, cooler than inside.”
