A loud bang filled the sky, prompting people within hundreds of ters to all look up simultaneously.

One, two, three large fireworks exploded in sequence, dazzling like shooting stars, illuminating the entire night sky.

"Wow, what’s going on tonight? I don’t rember receiving any notice."

Amidst his surprise, Li Shihao couldn’t help feeling puzzled. This was downtown, and the fireworks were huge and clearly expensive.

Just shooting them up into the sky like this... hadn’t there been talks about Edinburgh nearly going bankrupt? When had they beco so lavish and wealthy again?

Suddenly, he felt a chill at the back of his neck and instinctively looked back. Several tall and sturdy n, about 1.9 ters high, covered his mouth and grabbed his waist and legs, carrying him away like a big fish and placing him in a van.

From grabbing to placing in the van, it all took less than five seconds.

It was as if they had rehearsed it a thousand tis. Everyone around was watching the fireworks in the sky, and no one noticed what was happening here, including Su Wanyu who was still imrsed in the shock of the fireworks.

Li Shihao’s eyes widened, not having enough ti to panic.

Then he suddenly heard a familiar voice in Chinese, "This is not a kidnapping, don’t move around, don’t scream. Can you do that?"

He nodded repeatedly, seeing that none of the n were wearing masks and that they were all suited up like businessn, all Chinese, each with an apologetic smile on their face.

Li Shihao imdiately relaxed, stopped struggling, and asked in a low voice, "Brothers, why are you taking like this all of a sudden?"

One young, robust man, who seed to be the leader, scratched his head and chuckled sheepishly, "We just wanted you to leave the area, but it seed too complicated to explain, so carrying you away seed more straightforward."

"...," Li Shihao was speechless. What the hell kind of excuse was that?

Suddenly, he thought of Su Wanyu. If they wanted him to leave, then she was probably the target.

"Let go," Li Shihao started struggling again, but in the cramped van, he was just squirming among a bunch of big n.

Shiyu Fang helplessly pulled him to the van window, "Don’t talk, just watch. And from now on, stop bothering Yu."

"Yu? Su Wanyu? You know her?"

Li Shihao looked baffled but didn’t have ti to ask further.

He just saw Su Wanyu staring blankly into the sky, completely unaware that soone had taken his place right beside her.

The man was about 1.8 ters tall and rather sturdy, but the night was dark, and he was facing away from them, so only his silhouette was visible.

"The moonlight and fireworks are beautiful tonight, aren’t they?" Lu Liang said softly, placing a hand on Su Wanyu’s shoulder.

Su Wanyu was startled, not having ti to react and thinking it was Li Shihao’s rash action, she raised her hand ready to slap him.

Bang~~

A firework called "Galaxy Brilliance" exploded in the sky, like a galaxy falling from the heavens.

The bridge over this little creek, the best viewing spot, was as brightly lit as if it were dayti.

She saw the person beside her wasn’t Li Shihao, but a bastard who had haunted her dreams.

The raised hand gently fell, and she touched her cheek and then pinched it, murmuring softly, "Is this a dream?"

Lu Liang smiled, turned his head to kiss her palm, and held it in his own, "Can dreams be this real?"

Su Wanyu fell silent, staring straight at Lu Liang, as if even the starry fireworks could not compare to the man before her.

Her eyes, bright as stars, gradually beca misty. Lu Liang quickly hugged her, coaxing her, "Don’t pull this move; I’m scared."

Su Wanyu laughed through her tears but couldn’t help choking up, "In this world, there’s sothing you’re afraid of?"

"Yes!" Lu Liang said sincerely, softly, "I’m afraid you won’t co back, I’m afraid our child won’t recognize his dad."

Su Wanyu bit her lip, tears that had just dried re-ford in her eyes.

Lu Liang wrapped his arms around her waist, looking forward to change the subject, "Beautiful, isn’t it? I prepared it especially for you."

Su Wanyu nodded vigorously, sweeping away half a year’s gloom with a sweet, charming smile returning to her face.

Firework after firework launched in perfect order.

The entire fireworks show lasted over forty minutes, filling the skies above Edinburgh with clouds of white smoke.

Not until the remote launch site sparkled with red and blue lights did the grand fireworks display co to an end.

Su Wanyu looked dazedly, "Those are police cars, right?"

"Should be," Lu Liang said with a smile, shrugging his shoulders, "Let’s go, the gas is harmful, don’t wait for it to drift over."

In the heart of Edinburgh’s city center, it’s not so easy to get a foreigner to finance a fireworks display.

It just so happened that a few holess people found so fireworks shipped over from East Country. They felt like having so fun, and it just so happened that public officers from the fire departnt, environntal protection, and other departnts were all in a eting discussing, and the 200,000 British Pounds donated by kind-hearted people, so they couldn’t respond in ti.

Everything was just so coincidental.

Su Wanyu was about to leave when she suddenly rembered Li Shihao, she couldn’t help but ask curiously, "Where is Li?"

"Where is he?" Lu Liang smiled, asking as well.

Su Wanyu was puzzled, how would she know where he had gone?

Suddenly, the van’s door opened and Fang Shiyu got out, scratching his head and smiling goofily, "Yu, long ti no see, Mr. Li left a while ago."

When Li Shihao saw his cousin hugging Yu, he quietly opened another car door and left.

He was also uninterested in Lu Liang’s identity.

Liking soone, as long as she was happy, that was enough.

A person capable of arranging a fireworks show for her in the city, one could tell without thinking that he was very capable.

"Shiyu, long ti no see."

Su Wanyu waved and didn’t ask further, holding Lu Liang’s hand with much joy and heading to her apartnt.

Walking on the road, she suddenly asked, "When did you actually find out? And weren’t you supposed to have gone back to the country? And that person in the library this afternoon, was that you?"

She had been swept away by happiness and hadn’t thought about anything, but after walking a little while, she suddenly cald down.

"Guess?" Lu Liang said with a smile.

"Hmph~ I don’t want to guess anymore."

Su Wanyu tilted her head, in total little girl mode.

She seed still to be mad at Lu Liang, but their fingers were intertwined tightly, not willing to let go even for a mont.

Unable to hold back his chuckle, Lu Liang patted his puffed cheek back in place, "Should we go sit at your place, or at a hotel?"

"How did you know we’re ho?" Su Wanyu pouted, looking at a doorplate less than five ters away, "Let’s go to your place."

"I’m not living alone, there’s also a Chinese girl living there; her na is..." she started, then suddenly turned to Lu Liang.

"What’s her na?" Lu Liang asked knowingly.

"Her na is Zheng Xiaoxuan, she’s been very kind to . When I first arrived, she was a huge help, and she even agreed to be the godmother to the baby."

"From what you say, she seems like a nice person."

"Mhm, a really nice girl."

Just as they entered the hotel, Su Wanyu’s phone rang. Zheng Xiaoxuan asked excitedly, "Yu, was there just a big fireworks show? I went to Livingston with my stepmother and only caught the tail end, what a pity..."

Her mouth was like a machine gun, Su Wanyu hadn’t said a word, and she just kept talking non-stop.

"Invite her over, let’s all have dinner together."

A smile tugged at Lu Liang’s lips, and though he was far, Zheng Xiaoxuan still heard him, she asked, "Who? Who was that talking just now?"

"Xiaoxuan, we’re in the next room at Alison’s. Can you co over soon, and call when you arrive?" Su Wanyu said.

"We?" Zheng Xiaoxuan’s tone was not pleasant, hurrying along, "Wait for , I’ll be there in five minutes."

After speaking, the phone went to a busy tone.

Su Wanyu couldn’t help but laugh and quickly explained, "She’s always been like this, very straightforward and impulsive."

"It’s good to have such a friend in a foreign land," Lu Liang smiled. He didn’t reveal the fact that she was the sa sex.

According to Zhuo Yifan’s investigative report, while Zheng Xiaoxuan was of the sa sex, her help toward Su Wanyu was genuine.

If it hadn’t been for Zheng Xiaoxuan, Su Wanyu might have been depressed, especially with being pregnant while studying abroad.

Any normal person might think she was either living an undisciplined life or trying to automatically obtain residency status.

Regardless of which type of speculation, it was extrely unfriendly to a girl.
