Divine Thunder glanced at Zhouzhou with a dismissive look, uninterested in her sarcastic tone.

So what if the moves were old? As long as they worked, that was enough.

Besides, it vowed that the final challenge would be difficult for her.

Thinking this, it cast a aningful glance at Zhouzhou.

Zhouzhou noticed and furrowed her brow, feeling like Mr. Divine Thunder might be holding back so big move.

Could it be that she had actually irritated it, and now it was planning so test for her?

That thought only briefly crossed her mind before she dismissed it.

Impossible, Mr. Divine Thunder wasn't that clever.

If it had a new trick up its sleeve, it would've used it by now. No need to wait until now.

Forget it. She'd deal with whatever ca later.

If she really ended up with a lifeti of bad luck, she would make sure to tell everyone how dumb Divine Thunder was and how it didn't understand how to adapt.

Hmph, let's see if it still dares to stop her from changing her fate!

Both of them, each with their own thoughts, were fully aware of one another and equally confident in their eventual victory.

The week passed quickly, and early in the morning, after breakfast, they boarded the plane.

The team had already been selected.

Including Zhouzhou, there were ten people, with Zhouzhou as the leader.

After more than ten hours of flying, they finally landed on a tropical island.

Looking down from the sky, there were already several people on the ground.

"Is this the place?"

Commander nodded, and before they disembarked, he reminded them, "Be careful. From now on, everyone should stay highly alert. Rember, don't provoke trouble, but don't be afraid of it either."

"Got it!" everyone replied in unison.

Army Commander nodded in satisfaction, then turned to Zhouzhou.

With her around, he was at ease.

He didn't say more. As soon as the cabin door opened, Zhouzhou was the first to step off.

Just then, a sharp sound pierced the air. Zhouzhou's ears twitched, and she instinctively tilted her head to dodge.

Following the sound, she saw a stone embed itself deeply into a tree trunk—about ten centiters deep. If it had hit soone, the consequences would've been unimaginable.

Moreover, that stone had been aid straight at Zhouzhou's temple.

Xi Mo's face changed instantly. He rushed forward, positioning himself protectively by Zhouzhou's side.

But Zhouzhou gently shook her head, pushed him away, and turned to look at the person who was targeting her.

With just one glance, she imdiately recognized him.

It was Augusta.

She had disliked him ever since she saw his photo, but now that she saw him in person, she couldn't help but wish to send him straight to the afterlife as a cockroach.

Augusta, with a provocative glint in his eyes, spoke, "So you're Ye Lingfeng's daughter?"

Zhouzhou nodded. "Yes, and you must be Augusta."

"Seems like you've heard of ," Augusta said, his eyes locking onto hers, a bloody smirk curling on his lips. "I heard Ye Lingfeng's dead?"

Zhouzhou's eyes imdiately turned ice-cold. She looked at him and suddenly smiled, but it was a smile that didn't reach her eyes.

"Your ears must not be working well. My dad's alive and well. It's you who's about to die."

Upon hearing this, Augusta sneered. "We'll see about that. It all depends on whether you have the ability to back it up."

He was annoyed.

The reason he ca here was to find Ye Lingfeng.

During a previous mission, Ye Lingfeng had severely injured him, almost killing him. That was a huge disgrace, so he had joined this competition specifically to get revenge.

But when he arrived, he found that Ye Lingfeng was in a coma and couldn't participate.

This was a blow to his pride.

Now that Ye Lingfeng wasn't here, he would take it out on his precious daughter first—consider it collecting interest for later.

With that thought, his gaze toward Zhouzhou grew even more lethal.

Xi Mo noticed this and his vigilance shot through the roof.

Though he had known Augusta wouldn't spare Zhouzhou, he hadn't expected the targeting to start before the competition even began.

The referee, anwhile, had completely ignored the rule against fighting before the match. He acted as if he hadn't seen anything.

Then again, they were the hosts.

People from A Country always shouted about human rights and freedom, but were selfish to the core. What moral standards could you expect from such people?

Xi Mo didn't even consider approaching the referee about this matter.

He was no child; if sothing happened, he wasn't about to run to the teacher to complain.

Zhouzhou, of course, wouldn't bother with sothing like that either.

At that mont, she shot Augusta a provoking look. "Alright, then. You better watch and see my skills."

Her face was very youthful, standing out among the rugged n like a delicate flower, seemingly harmless.

Augusta's n burst into laughter, not taking her words seriously at all.

Except Augusta.

He never underestimated any opponent.

Even if his opponent was a powerless child, he would only relax after killing them.

This was his principle, and it was the reason he had survived until now.

Zhouzhou noticed this and raised an eyebrow.

No wonder he had clashed with her father for so long—he was just as ruthless.

What a waste of talent, though—choosing to beco a demon and commit terrible deeds.

People like him were more terrifying than ordinary people with no abilities.

He had to die!

The two of them locked eyes, each seeing unabashed murderous intent in the other's gaze.

Augusta gave her a aningful look and said, "I hope you don't disappoint ."

Zhouzhou smiled brightly. "I won't!"

Without another word, Augusta turned and left.

Zhouzhou, as if nothing had happened, continued walking forward with a smile, asking the staff nearby where they could get sothing to eat.

The staff looked at her like she was crazy. Didn't she know who Augusta was?

Anyone on Augusta's list was as good as dead, and here she was, still thinking about food?!

When the staff didn't respond, Zhouzhou's eyes widened in disbelief. "Wait, are you telling you don't provide als for such a big competition? Oh my god, I didn't think there were people even poorer and stingier than in the world!"

Her voice was loud enough to draw the curious gazes of others.

The staff mber's lips twitched, holding back the urge to roll their eyes.

Finally, under the gazes of everyone, they forced a professional fake smile and said, "Over here, please follow ."

Xi Mo stifled a laugh and silently followed along.

Commander let out a sigh of relief.

It seed Zhouzhou's mindset was rock solid—she was still thinking about food!

In reality, it had nothing to do with her mindset; she was just hungry.

At that mont, Ye Lingfeng, watching from above, also smiled.

Ancestral Master, curious, asked, "Aren't you worried?"

"Worried about what? Worried that Augusta hasn't found his grave yet, or worried Zhouzhou will be too tired from beating people?"

He crossed his legs, a smug look on his face. "My daughter—do you really think she will lose?"

What a joke!
