"I recorded our conversation, all those who need to listen can listen to it afterwards."

"Ok, we will have a eting about them after they finish their comprehensive examination at the dical center."

"I’m also included?" Ryzel asked as he actually doesn’t have any position in the ninth army.

"Yes, you were the one who they talked to. So, you also need to be present."

"I see."

After all the guides finished their comprehensive examination, Layton Lewis called all his lieutenant generals as they needed to be inford and of course everyone that would be involved with the guides they rescued.

"Let’s start with their dical condition. How are they Dr. Hanes," Layton Lewis said as soon as everyone was gathered.

"There condition is a ss. All of them were malnourished, they also had physical wounds that were obviously not healed properly so they also had a lot of scars on their body. But those were not the real problems about them.

As long as we feed them proper als they will recover from their malnourishnt. As for their physical wounds, as long as they stay long enough in the healing cabin all their wounds, even their scars would heal.

The real problem with them is their ntal state. Their ntal states were all very poor obviously from the things they experienced from that place they were locked in.

Unexpectedly the younger guides had a better ntal state compared to the others. There were 12 guides that have the worst ntal state all together.

They were already in a state as if they were already dead and were only alive because of sothing.

If we don’t do special intervention, I don’t think they would even live properly even if they were to be counselled and guided every day," Mr. Hanes said while sighing.

"D@mn those pirates! What did they do those guides!" Lieutenant General Ren said.

The others didn’t’ speak but they were also obviously angry because of the condition of the guides.

"This recording is my conversation with a guide nad Luna after you listen to this you will understand why everyone is in that state," Ryzel said then he played the recording after getting Layton Lewis permission.

"What the h*ck is this! I shouldn’t have shot that f*cker! And tortured him slowly until his death!"

"This is nonsense!"

"I need to beat them up myself! How can they do sothing like that to other people!"

"No wonder! No wonder they were like that! They were all very brave, but they were trampled again and again by such a lowlife!" Mr. Hanes said with tears flowing on his face.

The others in the room didn’t cry or curse but they all have red eyes from rage. Ryzel could feel how turbulent their mood was by the sudden ntal coercion they were letting out.

Having at least ten 2S sentinel letting out such coercion wouldn’t be good for other people in the center. So, he played his flute to calm them down.

"That’s why you’d better investigate the pirates as slowly as possible and let them taste the pain they caused to the others," Ryzel said smiling after calming down the others.

"Don’t worry Mr. Ryzel, I am in charge of their interrogation. I would surely interrogate them as slowly and as painful as possible," Lieutenant General Zam said seriously.

"That’s great! They shouldn’t have an easy life! You could always co to if you need more potions to treat them if they’re nearly dying," Ryzel said.

After he said those words all the people in the eting room looked at him.

"What is it?" Ryzel asked.

"It’s nothing," rvin replied.

"What are we going to do with them, Mr. Hanes," Layton Lewis calmly asked after all the people cald down.

"I think we should contact their parents and the guide association if they are willing then let us perform a special intervention, especially for those 12 guides," Mr. Hanes said.

"Special intervention? What is that?" Ryzel asked.

"I will explain it to you Mr. Ryzel because if they agreed to it, I think you are the most suitable person to do it for them.

The aning of special intervention is locking away a person’s mory. This is done by guides as they have the gentlest ntal power.

When they lock away a person’s mory it can’t be opened by other people who have lower ntal power level compared to the one who locked the mory."

"Is that allowed?" Ryzel asked.

Ryzel knew that there was indeed mory locking as part of a guide’s ability, but it wasn’t even written in their books as part of guides ability.

He only heard about it from one of their professors when he was doing his research but when he asked him about it his professor said that he didn’t need to think about it because doing such a thing was against the law.

"Yes, it is allowed under special circumstances, as long as the military, the guide association, the person themselves or their family allowed it then we could perform it," Mr. Hanes said.

"You told that I’m the most suitable person to do it, but I don’t even know how to do it," Ryzel said.

"It’s good that you don’t know about it. If you knew about it, then you’d be already in jail. Lewis won’t be looking for you at the Capital Star but in jail," rvin teased.

Ryzel just look at rvin for a bit and didn’t bother saying anything to him. Instead, he looked at Mr. Hanes.

"Don’t worry I will be teaching you how to do it if all of them give their consent," Mr. Hanes said.

After knowing the condition of those guides especially the others would most likely agree to the special intervention.

If their mories were locked away at least they wouldn’t need to rember their horrible experiences that they shouldn’t have experienced.

If they don’t rember what they went through, then they could live a normal life.

"rvin, you’re in charge of talking to the association and arranging the communication between the guides and their parents," Layton Lewis said.

"Okay," rvin agreed.

"We will talk about this again, later on," Layton Lewis said and dismissed all of them.

After all those people who participated in the eting were gone Ryzel asked, "If we do the special intervention will it lock all their mories about that ti or only partially?"

"Locking a person’s mory is not easy so we can’t totally lock all their mories away. We can’t lock their mories thoroughly, but we can lock all their extre mories about it."

"I see, at least that would be better," Ryzel said.

They were all strong enough as they were the ones who protected the others and even sacrificed themselves so they could surely continue to live on even if they rembered that they were kidnapped as long as they don’t rember the things that broke them.

"Is the special intervention only perford by the military?" Ryzel asked.

"Not really but most of the guides that could do that were from the military and from the guides association.

Because of its danger mory locking isn’t publicized but it was still needed in dealing with special situations, that’s why there were still a few guides who were certified to do it.

And those that could do it were all S level guides as they need to have a higher level of ntal power so that the mory they locked won’t be unlocked.

So, in the federation only a few guides know how to do it. In the ninth army we only have Dr. Hanes who know how to do it."

"If it’s that rare, am I allowed to learn it?"

"As the youngest guide who has 2S level ntal power it would only take so ti before they would ask you to learn it.

As my partner you are already part of the military so they would surely want you to learn about it later on. You could only say that you are learning it earlier.

However, personally I don’t want you to learn it and perform the ntal locking of those guides.

When performing a ntal locking you would see all the mories that you needed to lock. Which ans you would be seeing a lot of unpleasant things that they had encountered.

That is also the reason why only a few guides learned it because most of them wouldn’t be able to stand the mories they would be seeing while looking soone’s mories," Layton Lewis explained.

"Even if that’s the case I still wanted to learn how to do it and help those guides. Don’t worry if I really can’t handle it, I will certainly stop," Ryzel said.

Ryzel knew that Layton Lewis was worried about him. Seeing soone’s mory would certainly be bad, especially for the guides they rescued. However, he still wanted to do his best to help them move on from what they had experienced.

"Ok, I won’t stop you from learning it, but you should rember not to push yourself too much."

"I know," Ryzel said after nodding.
