Lucas was picking up the landline phone on his desk, delivering Harry Hunter’s instructions to the VP, when he heard his cell phone ringing. He glanced at it but didn’t pay any attention.
However, after that, ssages kept coming in one after another, ringing continuously.
At this point, he didn’t even need to look at it. The only person who bombards him with so much chatter is Zoe Lewis, there’s no one else.
Indeed, her nickna wasn’t wrong, Mia.
Her words are always endless.
Her parents truly had foresight, predicting that their daughter would be a little chatterbox.
After hanging up the phone with the VP, Lucas answered a call from a business partner, then received a new task from Harry Hunter.
By the ti he finished these tasks, half an hour had already passed.
The unread ssages on his phone showed 102.
Lucas felt a bit of a headache. How could he once again not resist the urge to reach out to her? Weren’t the lessons from every ti he initiated a conversation with her deep enough?
Inviting Zoe to dinner at his ho, clearly he could have let his mom talk to her directly, how did he end up taking on this task himself?
Despite the headache, Lucas still opened the ssages and read them one by one.
Most of them were useless chatter.
"How can you be so rude? A girl sends you a ssage, you should reply imdiately, you shouldn’t make wait so long!"
"Not a shred of gentlemanly conduct!"
"Does everyone who sends you a ssage get the sa cold shoulder? Responding once every six months?"
"Why haven’t you replied to yet?"
"Hurry up and reply!"
"Where are you?"

Lucas had never been in a relationship, but he felt that Zoe’s current state very much resembled a girlfriend playfully sulking.
Strangely, he wasn’t annoyed; he even carefully read through her 102 nonsensical ssages.
In fact, he had two phone numbers, one for work and one personal.
On his work line, it’s mostly work-related, and he’s very efficient with replying to ssages there. Occasionally, female colleagues would chat idly using his work number, he never entertained those.
On his personal number, besides family and relatives, Zoe was the only girl.
Daring to bombard him with ssages like this, she was the first.
And yet the one who bombards him over text without being blocked by him, she would likely be the only one ever.
Lucas sighed; with soone as persistent as her, he wasn’t even sure where his boundaries went anymore.
His fingers flew as he replied, "Was busy working just now."
Zoe, who had sent over a hundred ssages into the void, initially decided never to bother him again.
But the mont he replied, she discarded that decision joyfully and responded, "I know!"
Lucas helplessly replied, "You know, yet you act up?"
"I wasn’t acting up; you weren’t replying to my ssages, so I thought aliens had taken you away, just confirming."
Lucas knew he shouldn’t continue chatting with her; her conversations were wildly imaginative, able to turn black into white, and white into blue.
"Still on Earth, I’ll pick you up tonight, don’t send any more ssages."
Zoe completely ignored him and continued, "I got it! Go ahead and work, chatting during work hours might get your pay docked by the boss."
Lucas was both exasperated and amused; if he got docked, who was to bla?
David pushed open the office door and saw Lucas’s smiling face, curiously asked, "Secretary Lucas, are you in love?"
Lucas frowned, "No."
"Then why were you smiling at your phone like a flower just now? Wasn’t it a ssage from your girlfriend?"
Lucas’s frown deepened, what sort of bizarre description was this! You’re the one like a flower!
