Harry Hunter waved David away, dialed Ben Hunter’s number with a cold expression.

"When are you coming back?"

Ben was delighted: "You brat actually miss ?"

"I don’t miss you. It’s your wife who hit my wife! What kind of woman did you marry? She just causes trouble all day. Is she not happy unless she stirs up chaos with the granddaughter-in-law?"

Ben choked: "What nonsense are you talking about? That’s your grandmother!"

Of course, it didn’t seem to matter.

He paused and asked again: "What mischief did she cause again? Did she bully Isabella?"

"Yes."

"That old lady is getting more and more outrageous!"

"When are you coming back?"

The grandson rarely repeats himself, but this was the second ti he asked when he would be back.

Ben frowned: "In a couple of days, there are significant issues with Connor here. I’ve only seen him once since I got here."

"Co back imdiately, I’ll send soone else."

Harry Hunter’s tone was indifferent: "Co back and keep your wife in check. If she dares to touch even a single hair on my wife again, be prepared to get a new wife."

Ben was furious; his grandson was getting more and more reckless with his words, even daring to say such rebellious things, not fearing divine retribution!

He scolded his grandson, hung up, thought for a mont, and decided to return to the country.

But before returning, he still wanted to see Connor once more.

He found the King, made a scene, and finally got to see him.

Connor, bruised and battered, threw himself into the old man’s arms and cried: "Grandpa, I want to leave with you! I miss the Young Master, it’s so boring here!"

The King’s face turned instantly ashen!

Who was he calling grandpa?

If his son called Ben Hunter grandpa, wouldn’t he have to call Ben Hunter dad!

The proud Prince of the S Kingdom, actually throwing himself into soone else’s arms and crying, how humiliating!

Luckily, everyone had been sent out, or they’d be the laughingstock of the guards and maids!

The King was so angry he coughed for a while, his handkerchief dotted with blood.

But he didn’t want Connor and Ben Hunter to see it, so he wiped his mouth, tossed the handkerchief into a special box, and yanked Connor out of Ben Hunter’s arms: "Stand properly! Wearing the prince’s uniform of the S Kingdom, you must act like a prince. Have your lessons in manners and etiquette these days been for nothing?!"

Connor didn’t want to say a word to him, standing there with red eyes, his posture straight, his expression distant.

What kind of prince was he?

Thrown away when no longer wanted, now brought back as a little beggar to be made a prince, dreaming, was he?

This so-called father didn’t love him as much as the old man!

He had been brought back to the country for only a few days, and the old man had imdiately followed, fearing he’d suffer a loss, always negotiating with the King.

"Old Master Hunter, the S Kingdom appreciates your care for Connor, I’ve already prepared a dowry as a reward for all these years you’ve raised Connor. From now on, you and Connor will have no more ties."

The King was wary of everyone, particularly cautious of Ben Hunter now. The power and wealth of the Hunter Family were not sothing even he could underestimate.

He was very worried that after his death, the entire country might fall into the hands of the Hunter Family.

Ben Hunter, of course, knew what the King was worried about, but he only wanted to exert a certain intimidation, not to push people to the brink.

Having been through many battles, regardless of what he had in mind, he maintained a genial expression: "Your Majesty the King, there’s no need for a dowry. Adopting Connor happened by chance. I really like him, and my grandson also likes him. They are good friends with an extraordinary bond. The Hunter Family will always stand behind Connor to support him."
