The night was dark and gloomy, Connor sat alone in the living room, thoughts of longing surged out bit by bit, quickly becoming a vast ocean that engulfed him.
But thinking about it, Natalie Niles wouldn’t be lonely. She not only had her twin brother Johan Niles with her, but also a very loyal little girl Ruth.
The lonely one had always been him.
But he had long been used to loneliness, able to eat well and sleep well even when ho alone.
Now, however, he found it a little bit unsettling.
Unsure of how long had passed, a figure walked in through the darkness.
Connor suspiciously opened his eyes, his fist just clenched, only to quickly release again.
A soft body fell into his arms, followed by her calm voice: "Why didn’t you go to the hospital to bring ho?"
Connor hugged her tightly, softly calling her: "Natalie..."
"Hmm?"
"Natalie..."
Connor felt as though he was dreaming, he had just been desperately thinking of her, and in the blink of an eye, she was in his arms.
"Do you miss too, Natalie..."
"Hmm."
"Next ti I’ll pick you up, won’t leave you alone."
"Hmm."
"How’s your body? Does your heart hurt? Does your head hurt? Are your eyes really fine? What’s Johan saying?"
Natalie held his neck, her whole body close to his, comfortable and satisfied: "He says it’s fine."
She just didn’t know why, she particularly missed him, brought ho by her brother, she ran out again, ca back to find him.
She wasn’t like this before.
Before, when she liked Harry Hunter, all her emotions could be restrained, she wouldn’t throw herself at Harry Hunter, she could always keep a rational distance from him.
But when it changed to Connor, she couldn’t help herself!
Probably because of his spoiling, she just wanted him to hold her, wanted to lean on him, so ti felt excruciatingly hard to get through, she couldn’t stay at ho at all.
She went crazy.
This is the sign of losing reason after falling deeply.
How did it beco like this?
She slowly grasped Connor’s hand, gently stroking his calloused palm, then intertwined their fingers.
Pale moonlight stread through the floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing Connor to see her smooth hair and delicate features.
She was exceptionally beautiful under the moonlight, just like years ago when he first t her, with a stunning allure. Only now she carried a peculiar mysterious and indifferent charm, adding three points of fatal attraction to her appearance.
Luckily his Young Master didn’t like Natalie Niles, otherwise where would he find such a beautiful and smart girlfriend?
It’s just... she’s a bit too smart, always making him feel jittery.
The house was still riddled with various lethal things, he suspected he might accidentally step on one soday and blow himself up.
That’s the good thing about a smart girlfriend, as he just mocked himself in his heart, his expression changed only slightly, she imdiately discerned his inner thoughts, and softly asked him: "Shall I have soone take everything out?"
"No need."
Connor caressed her face, filled with tenderness in his heart: "You buried it with much effort, keep it."
He was so foolish.
He didn’t ask anymore.
Nor did he bla her.
Natalie Niles felt her heart soften to an unprecedented degree, never before had her heart been this soft.
She clung tightly to Connor: "Then I’ll tell you about the layout of those things, and the usage thods, they might co in handy at a crucial mont."
