In the depths of the jungle, Natalie Niles stood before a tall man, her voice cold: "Everyone’s in training. Calling out solo like this will raise suspicions."
The man sneered: "Didn’t you leave for a normal life? Why are you back? You want to run off without completing the mission given by the upper command? Don’t bla for being ruthless!"
"I’ve already done so much for you all. What more do you want?"
"They said once you complete this mission, they’ll set you free!"
"This mission is impossible to complete. I’m human, not God!"
"Hmph, in this world, there’s no mission that Natalie Niles can’t complete. It’s only about whether you’re willing or not."
The man looked at her snow-like skin and reached forward to touch her face.
Natalie Niles struck suddenly, sharply folding his fingers!
"Ah!"
The man scread, his face turning pale.
Natalie Niles, indifferent and fierce: "Don’t touch , you’re not worthy!"
After speaking, she kicked the man three tis in the knee, abdon, and chest, her long legs leaving after-images in the air.
The man, in pain, involuntarily knelt down.
But he wasn’t ordinary. Despite the agony, he tried to stab Natalie Niles.
However, Natalie was prepared, dodging the blade and kicking his wrist, sending the knife flying.
The man gritted his teeth: "Just three months apart, yet you’ve beco even more formidable!"
Natalie Niles looked indifferent, not responding to him.
Of course, she was more formidable now. Sparring with Connor for a month had been extrely beneficial.
Connor was a martial arts genius, systematically trained by Ben Hunter, growing up in combat. His experience, skills, and reflexes were the highest combat power she’d ever seen—excluding Harry Hunter, as she’d never seen Harry fully unleash his strength.
Even using underhanded tricks couldn’t match Connor. This man’s talent was diocre, far inferior to Connor’s. Just learning so basics from Connor was enough to defeat him.
"Not letting touch you, but what’s this about you willingly getting close to that bodyguard, being carried around the base to announce to the world you have a man?"
"Just using him, you’re overthinking it."
"Then he’s truly pitiful."
The man slowly got up, sinisterly: "Since you’re just using him, if I have him killed, you won’t feel upset, right?"
"I haven’t finished using him. What’s he doing that bothers you enough to want him dead?"
"Afraid you’ll fall for him, I’m doing you a favor by eliminating a soft spot. Besides... you let him touch you, I can’t stand him!"
"Don’t touch him, he’s still useful."
The man laughed sinisterly: "Do you want to keep using him, or do you like him too much to let touch him?"
"I don’t want to talk to a fool with a pig’s brain like you. Have your superior contact . You’re so disgusting; you’re making sick."
"Hahaha, Natalie Niles, do you really think it’s just who wants to kill that bodyguard? I’ll be honest—since he arrived, he’s been targeted. The upper command said if you refuse this mission, they’ll kill him first, then torture you to death!"
"I won’t accept it. You can kill whoever you want; it doesn’t concern ."
"Tsk tsk, truly heartless! That bodyguard ca all this way to see you, yet you aren’t moved in the slightest. They say the most venomous is a woman’s heart—it’s precisely about you."
Natalie Niles showed no reaction, listening to him curse. Calmly, she said: "Knowing I’m venomous, yet daring to speak to like this—Matt Frinch, you’ll be the next to die."
