Chapter 12: Since You Begged
When it was close to alti, ng Chuyuan and Lu Jinsen ca out of Grandma Zhang's house. On the way, they could see wisps of smoke coming from the kitchens of various families. The fragrance assailed their noses, wave after wave.
For two people who hadn't eaten breakfast, they couldn't stand the sll of smoke because their hunger would grow stronger and stronger. They wished they could walk three steps at a ti and go ho early to cook.
However, when they got ho, ng Chuyuan and Lu Jinsen had already slowed down their pace. They sat under the eaves to cool off. No one ntioned cooking, as if it was already a lazy afternoon.

ng Chuyuan had not known him for long, but she roughly understood Lu Jinsen's personality. She knew that his attitude was a little bad, but ng Chuyuan could not stand this attitude of his.
ng Chuyuan looked up at him and raised her eyebrows unhappily. "Are you begging or ordering ?"
Lu Jinsen was suddenly at a loss for words. After a mont of silence, he said, "I'm begging you, okay?"

"Alright, since you're begging , I'll cook."

ng Chuyuan got up from her chair and saw that Lu Jinsen was still standing. She looked at him in confusion. "What are you waiting for? Go and pick up the firewood."
