After Being Sold Out By The Empire, I Decide To Assist The Demon King Chapter 181 - 50: Unexpected Disagreements
"Yayil, are you okay?"
Wenresa Iluvita asked. Normally, she always appeared serene and composed, but now she looked sowhat disheveled. She wiped her slightly scorched erald-green hair... yet all the injuries on her body were rapidly healing.
From the scars on her arms to the burn marks visible through the tattered remains of her upper garnt, all were knitting back together at a speed visible to the naked eye. Even her clothes were nding themselves, growing back as if they were part of her body, returning to their original state quickly.
"Cough, cough, cough~ how unusual, you actually called by my surna..."
The human woman whose surna was known as "Yayliinoceyatos" responded, spitting out blood clots as she coughed, but similarly, the enormous sword wound that had sliced into her organs was also rapidly healing.
Without a doubt, the two won were engaged in a difficult battle, and they were even slightly on the losing side. It was hard to imagine... how could they, being above and beyond the ordinary, be beaten into such a state?
Those who were beyond the ordinary should have been invincible... they were supposed to be fundantally different from normal creatures, possessing transcendent powers, such as the ability to stand weightlessly in the sky as they were doing now.
"You, get out of my way!"
A man commanded. At this mont, standing in front of Wenresa and the human woman were three others standing in mid-air, a combination of two n and one woman.
The man who spoke wore what appeared to be armor and carried a longsword. Standing behind him was a female fire elental, her entire body surrounded by flas. The other man looked rather frivolous, standing casually in mid-air.
"Cough, cough, cough..."
The human woman coughed, raising both her head and her magic wand. "Letting you ddle with the Main Material Plane? Are you even aware of your responsibilities as those beyond the ordinary?"
There were rules among those beyond, and one of them was not to interfere with the Main Material Plane, a rule that all those beyond were expected to obey and agree with. Generally, anyone who attempted to violate this rule would be attacked en masse.
Yet, at this mont, there were at least hundreds of those beyond watching, and not one was prepared to intervene... even those who wanted to speak out held their tongues due to the strange atmosphere.
A division had erged among those beyond, preventing them from easily choosing sides.
"That is chaos... this is about the survival of the world!"
The swordsman declared righteously, raising his sword high. "Out of the way, Iluvita! Let kill Yila Elkaras! Or I’ll cut you down with her!"
The fire elental woman, who could not speak the Universal Language, nodded in agreent.
"No, Wenresa is so beautiful... just tie her up."
The seemingly frivolous male beyond spoke, yawning as he casually glanced at the two won, his eyes devoid of desire, and added, "As for this one, just kill her."
"..."
However, neither Wenresa nor the human woman responded to them.
"Final Magic Bullet!"
Given the elf’s advantage, Wenresa could cast spells at an incredible speed. She rely recited the na of the spell, and a spell registered as a "sequence" abruptly ford in the sky.
The speed at which she chanted and constructed the spell model was beyond the imagination of ordinary magicians...
In an instant, countless prism-like magic missiles appeared behind Wenresa Iluvita, and then, like a full salvo, they descended like a purple teor shower.
The missiles ford a sea of destruction in the air, making the three enemy beyond look like tiny bugs on the verge of being drowned by the tide.
However, if it were rely the countless magic bullets, it wouldn’t have been enough to register such a spell as a sequence. Subsequent spells also triggered quickly... countless spells were released simultaneously, painting the sky with seven colors of light.
From the Projectile Splitting Technique, Enchantnt: Strong Tracking, Enchantnt: Poison, to Trigger: Internal Explosion Skill, and Trigger: Iluvita Fragntation Technique, countless lethal spells rapidly exploded.
But the three opponents were by no ans unprepared. Almost imdiately, a flaming shield appeared in front of them, as thin as a cicada’s wing, but everyone knew it was enough to withstand the attack.
It was enough to withstand any blow in this world. However... only withstand.
"...In na... here... shield counter."
At the mont when the magic bullets were about to hit, the human woman finished her extrely soft but clear chanting, due to its slowness. A simple beam of light shot towards the fla shield.
In the three’s eyes filled with astonishnt, the fla shield rapidly lted like snow under the blazing sun, and then, in the massive roar, they were engulfed by the tsunami of missiles.
If this had been any powerful being in the Main Material Plane, other than the Governors who had at least one guaranteed life, no one else would have survived.
But... those beyond could.
"Great teamwork."
Wenresa Iluvita complinted the human woman, then imdiately grabbed her arm. Their figures instantly beca ethereal, and as a blast of Sword Qi erged from the smoke of the explosion, creating a massive storm, it sliced through their ethereal forms.
However, the two were no longer in the Main Material Plane.
The storm blew away the smoke, revealing the three opponents intact... well, not entirely intact. After all, the three looked sowhat out of breath and, even though they were beyond, taking that hit head-on wasn’t easy for them.
"#@¥... gibberish%"
The female fire elental spoke in a convoluted language, and the swordsman nodded, saying, "Yes, no rush... Since we’ve found a way to enter the Main Plane, we’ll find an opportunity to kill the chaos. Let’s look for others who share our goal first."
However, the seemingly frivolous man had a different opinion. He shrugged indifferently, saying, "There might not be another chance. The cost for to co to the Main Plane is high. I might not be able to return next ti."
"???"
Before the other two could comprehend his aning, their bodies suddenly beca ethereal... it was a hidden spell within the magic missiles.
"Dinsion Return... Damn it, treating us like summoned beings."
The swordsman cursed through clenched teeth, but there was no help for it. Wenresa had realized... the three of them were in a state similar to summoned beings.
"Chaos... I must!"
Before he could finish speaking, the three opponents vanished into thin air.
...
The sky returned to tranquility, with the beyond who watched... remaining silent.
