Sheng Shaochen thought that Du Shiniang was lying, but when he arrived at the Sheng Mansion, he found out that the Old Lady was indeed sick, her eyes red and swollen, and her body considerably thinner.
Looking at the woman before him, who had gritted her teeth through storms for the sake of the Sheng Family, a hint of guilt couldn’t help but well up in Sheng Shaochen’s heart.
"Doctor, what’s my grandmother’s condition now?"

"Suppressed emotions turned into illness?" Sheng Shaochen grabbed the doctor, "Explain clearly!"

"Son, co here!" Bai Yueru pulled Sheng Shaochen into her room and closed the door, "Son, what’s going on between you and Xiao Shu now?"
Seeing the cautious look on his mother’s face, Sheng Shaochen tentatively asked, "Mom, do you have sothing you want to tell ?"
