Ye Li found a good studio on the 16th floor of Jingyue Building.

According to Ye Li’s original plan, for the first year or two, it would be less of a workplace for her and Wan Mingyi and more of a study room for the two of them.

Thus, a smaller workspace with a bit of style in its decor would suffice.

But the mont Ye Li entered studio 1601, she fell in love with it.

The previous company that occupied this space was also in the art design industry, featuring an open workspace that was spacious and bright, with a strong sense of design.

The so-called boss’s office at the very back was spotless and from its floor-to-ceiling windows, one could gaze out at the Fu Group building in the distance.

Even without looking at the last prospective location situated in the art workshops, Ye Li was already smitten.

Jingyue Building was in the most bustling area of Imperial City Center.

Everything one might want to eat, drink, enjoy, or use was readily available; even conducting impromptu surveys among the crowd downstairs would be more convenient than in other places.

Additionally, Jingyue Building was a property under the Fu Family’s banner.

In the distant future, if her studio grew in scale, perhaps she could even pull so strings with Fu Yanci to take over the entire 16th floor for herself.

At the mont of signing the lease, Ye Li pondered whether she should call Fu Yanci.

With a re wave from Boss Fu, he could possibly waive her deposit and rent, allowing her to start her studio without any investnt.

But as soon as this thought surfaced, Ye Li dismissed it.

After an inexplicable parting on bad terms the previous morning, there had been no more contact between them.

She was swamped with work, and Fu Yanci seed to have forgotten about her existence as Mrs. Fu.

Thus, they had mutually ceased contact in silent agreent.

There were monts of impulsiveness when Ye Li wanted to call him and ask, "Fu Yanci, just what are you angry about? Have I upset you?"

But whenever the words were on the tip of her tongue, she was either interrupted or hesitated, retreating from the idea.

After a few rounds, Ye Li gave up.

Let’s consider it a ti for both to calm down and think things through.

After all, she hadn’t agitated him!

"This area needs partitioning, besides this office, we need another room here, and right... over here, I want a big worktable..."

After discussing the details with the designer in charge of the renovation, Ye Li left the studio just as it was nearing noon.

Stepping out of Jingyue Building, Ye Li looked back at the Fu Group building not far away and felt increasingly angry.

At the hospital, after her fall into Bing Lake, Fu Yanci had coldly said "I care only about you."

In the bedroom at Lishan Mansion, he had gripped her waist, as though he wished to crumble her into his arms, calling her Ah Li over and over again.

The mory of the man’s passionate yet reserved image was so vivid that it only fueled Ye Li’s anger further when she recalled his inexplicable fit of rage.

Was it because she ntioned his first love?

Or was it because after bringing up his first love, she had ntioned their contract marriage, which left him infuriated?

Or, could it simply be that every man has a few days each month when he’s utterly unreasonable?

Pondering to no avail, Ye Li decided it wasn’t worth thinking about anymore.

Since she had already apologized quite sincerely, let him ignore her if he wished.

It seed, indeed, that her forr tender feelings had been misplaced!

Annoyed by the thought, Ye Li hailed a taxi and headed straight for Ye Mansion.

In the Maybach slowly passing by, Xiang Yang shrank cautiously toward the window.

Boss had been too fearso these past few days!

Although he roughly guessed it was due to Lady Ye, Xiang Yang, as a subordinate, didn’t dare to pry into his boss’s private life.

Because of this, Xiang Yang had prayed a thousand tis, hoping Ye Li would call the Boss to alleviate the tension between them and thus rescue the entire secretarial pool.

He had barely finished his N 1st prayer when he felt the atmosphere in the car beco even more somber.

Turning his head, he was t by the cold, gloomy expression of Fu Yanci.
