Chapter 98: Chapter 98: How Not to Hate_1

"Bai Xue..."

The Prince Charming beside her suddenly called out, his voice was very gentle.

Bai Xue turned her head, blinked her beautiful big eyes, and asked in a crisp voice, "What’s up?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to call you."

Bai Xue giggled coquettishly, her small rosy fist lightly pounded Shi Yan’s chest, and she coquettishly said, "Annoying."

Bai Xue turned her head back, ready to get on the train.

The next second, a pair of hands abruptly pushed her back.

"Ah!"

Bai Xue scread, stumbled and fell onto the tracks. Darkness, fear, and despair instantly enveloped her tightly. She couldn’t help but tremble all over, barely able to breathe.

A few seconds later, Bai Xue ca to her senses and began to scream for help. She tried hard to climb up the wall, but there was no place for her to hold onto, she couldn’t do it.

The staff finally heard the cry for help and quickly ran over.

But it was too late. The staff had just rushed to the platform when the train’s horn warning sounded.

For their personal safety, the staff had to retreat.

The long train eventually started to move again, "clatter, clatter..." The cold machine solidly stepped on the tracks, heading towards the unending darkness.

Life that was as delicate as a flower stood still, it was the end of a beautiful life, shattered into dust, body mangled beyond recognition.

Then, an icy ghost appeared. She avoided the summoning of the ssenger of Death and lingered at this remote small train station, filled with the wrathful fire of revenge.

Her eyes that were once gleaming brightly and full of affection, now covered in frost, they were filled with hatred and she glared at every young man who passed by. It was as if they were the ones who had created a fairy tale of love for her, and pushed her into the abyss of darkness.

During the first few years, she was nothing more than a virtual body. Under the drive of hatred, she practiced hard and finally beca a physical entity years later, beginning her journey of revenge.

Listening to her, Qin Sisi clenched her fists, her face was complex. How did the story of tender romance ultimately turn into a preditated murder of terror?

Hearing that Bai Xue had already killed four people, Qin Sisi frowned and asked, "An offence should be redressed by the offender; the punishnt should go to the one who is responsible. Shi Yan caused your death, why don’t you take revenge on him directly, instead of harming innocent people here?"

Bai Xue coldly glanced at Qin Sisi and responded sarcastically, "You don’t even know this? Heh... Turns out that you are not that remarkable."

Sisi was left speechless by the response and was at a loss for words.

Ye You explained from the side, "Ordinary ghosts cannot stray too far from where they died. There are only two ways to leave. One is to find soone familiar to them, soone who carries so of the ghost’s lingering aura or traces from when they were alive. The ghost can then follow this person to leave. The other thod is ghost possession, but the one attempting to do so must have a weak fate and their aura must align closely with that of the ghost for it to be successful."

Only then did Qin Sisi realize, this must be so basic knowledge about ghosts, she indeed didn’t understand much, and Bai Xue’s sarcasm was not entirely unjustified.

Qin Sisi adjusted her mood, disregarded Bai Xue’s rudeness, and continued to ask, "After your death, didn’t your family co to collect your body?"

If her family had co, the ghost of Bai Xue should have been able to follow them ho.

Her face showing a hint of sadness, Bai Xue replied, "At that ti, train tickets were not issued on a real-na basis, and my ID was with him. The small train station’s surveillance asures were not well implented, so my family could not find . My remains were kept in the mortuary for five years before being buried on a nearby mountain."

Bai Xue gazed outside the window, and it seed that she could still see her mangled remains through the thick darkness.

The solitary grave of an unidentified female corpse, unknown to anyone, neglected by everyone, she could only mourn for herself.

Having gained a clear understanding of the entire situation, Qin Sisi was inevitably heavy-hearted. She looked at Bai Xue and asked, "So, what’s your condition? Is it revenge or going ho?"

Without any hesitation, Bai Xue replied, "My parents probably don’t know that I have passed away. Let them continue to think that I’m still alive. I stayed in the human world as a wild ghost just for revenge."

The last two words weighed heavily, implying her profound hatred which filled all spaces of her heart.

But how could one not hate? How could one not hold a grudge?

After a mont of silence, Qin Sisi asked, "How do you plan to take revenge?"

Chilled to the bone, Bai Xue retorted instead of answering, "He ruthlessly murdered , causing

to end up in such a state. What do you think I should do for my revenge?"

Should she? If it’s only about should, obviously, debts should be paid, and a life should be given in return for a life.

And yet...

Qin Sisi sighed and said, "What about those four people that you killed?"

Bai Xue’s bright eyes dimd slightly, and she softly replied, "Once I offer my soul power to you, I will disintegrate. Is this not enough?"

Qin Sisi shook her head and answered, "You won’t disintegrate completely. When the ti and opportunity appear, the soul will naturally reunite. You have killed so much that when that ti cos, you will undoubtedly suffer the agony of purgatory. Are you certain you want to add another layer of killing?"

Bai Xue clenched her fists and gritted her teeth, "As long as I can get my revenge, no matter how much suffering I have to endure afterwards, I’m willing."

After giving it so thought, Qin Sisi said, "Can we report it to the police and let them handle it?"

Bai Xue scoffed, "It’s been ten years since it happened. Do you think the police can still find any evidence? Without evidence, how can there be a conviction?"

Bai Xue had a point. They had absolutely no evidence to prove that Bai Xue was pushed on to the tracks by Shi Yan.

Qin Sisi looked thoughtful, and after a period of reflection, she said, "Alright, I’ll help you. But I won’t kill anyone. I’ll take you away from here to find him. As for how to take revenge, you can decide for yourself."

Bai Xue coldly looked at Qin Sisi, "Okay."

After all, she had beco a physical entity, killing a person was not too difficult.

Now that they had reached an agreent, Qin Sisi turned to look at Ye You. He understood, raised his claws, and retracted Bai Xue’s ghost back into the Portable Space.

Qin Sisi and Ye You were lying in bed. Both of them were sowhat silent.

In the darkness, Qin Sisi cuddled Ye You’s plush body and asked in a low voice, "Xiao Hei, why do you think Shi Yan killed Bai Xue?"

"What do you think?" Ye You countered instead of answering.

Dissatisfied, Qin Sisi replied, "I asked you first. You are both n, analyze it from a man’s perspective first."

Ye You remained quiet for a while before saying, "He had suggested breaking up before, he must have fallen out of love."

Qin Sisi was not satisfied with his answer, "If he really wanted to leave, there would be ways. There was absolutely no need to murder her. If he was caught, his life would be ruined."

Ye You paused before replying, "There must be sothing important that made him take such a risk."

"But what thing is worth risking one’s life for, even daring to kill his own girlfriend?" Qin Sisi said to herself, a hint of confusion flashed in her eyes.

Ye You didn’t respond, but had already ford a guess in his heart.

If sothing could drive a man crazy, and if it was not a woman or vengeance, it could only be one thing — interest.
