Chapter 94: Chapter 94 Dream Entrustnt_1

The Divine Beast gazed at the son, and his daughter-in-law, of the Grandma Ghost. It slowly blinked its eyes – eyes that were surprisingly purple, like two gleaming purple gem stones.

The head of the Beast inclined slightly, emanating a natural, intimidating aura.

The Fairy atop the Beast had a warm disposition, like one bathed in the Spring Breeze.

The couple, dumbstruck and slack-jawed, stared at the scene before them, at a loss for words.

The Grandma Ghost eyed them, moving closer to the Fairy with a flattering smile on her face, her wrinkled face lit up like a blooming chrysanthemum.

"Fairy, here is my unfilial son and his wife." the Grandma Ghost pointed at the couple on their knees and spoke to the Fairy.

The Fairy nodded, her red lips moved slightly. Although she was standing close, her voice sounded as though it was coming from the sky. It was light, pleasant, ethereal and distant.

"Do both of you realise your errors?"

The couple, scared by the Fairy’s words, started begging for forgiveness, "We realise our mistakes, we understand. From now on, we will definitely pay respects to our mother properly..."

The Fairy nodded, "This woman has done

a favour. If you show your filial piety, I will bless your lives with peace, longevity and wealth."

"Yes, yes..." nodded the couple, in agreent.

The Fairy added, "First, erect a stone carved tombstone for your mother, facing east. On occasions like Qingming, Dragon Boat Festival, Ghost Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Hanshi, Chinese New Year and the anniversary, you must co to pay respects. If you do this, your family’s fortune will continue to improve. But, if you do not respect this agreent-- if you are negligent or insincere-- you will fall into poverty. In extre cases, your family will be torn apart. Do rember."

At this point, the couple was unable to think straight. All they could do was continue begging for forgiveness.

The Fairy, satisfied, curved her mouth into a smile. She lifted her long white sleeve causing a wisp of smoke to slowly erge, enveloping the Fairy, the Divine Beast, and the Grandma Ghost.

A quarter of an hour later, the smoke faded. There was no trace of the three beings; only the desolate fields and graves remained...

A cold wind blew over, causing the son of the Grandma Ghost to shudder. He suddenly opened his eyes.

Upon taking in the scene, he found himself lying in front of his mother’s grave, his wife lying beside him, her eyes shut tightly, motionless.

The man hurriedly shook his wife awake. They discovered, to their horror, that the sky was darkening. It was already evening, but they seed to have just arrived around noon. How had hours passed from just paying respects at the grave? And how had they fallen asleep at the grave?

The two, noticing the growing darkness, did not dare to stay longer at the cetery. They helped each other back ho, anxious and unsettled.

The couple carefully recounted what they had experienced that afternoon. They were amazed to find that they had shared the sa dream. The scenes of the dream were so vivid they could even recall the ’hooo’ of the wind and could sll the faint trace of fragrance from the Fairy. The sight of her white dress twirling in the wind seed to dance before their eyes.

Although previously the couple doubted Lin Xiaoyu’s words about their ancestral grave having issues, after this strange dream they believed completely.

The next day, the son of the Grandma Ghost went to get a tombstone for his mother, hired people to transport the tombstone to the cetery, and set it in front of his mother’s grave. He followed the Fairy’s instructions and made sure the tombstone faced East.

Then the couple again bought offerings and yellow paper, paid respects at the Grandma Ghost’s grave and sincerely kowtowed a few tis.

From then on, the couple dared not neglect the Grandma Ghost. Every ti the dates ntioned by the Fairy arrived, they would take leave to return to their ancestral ho to worship their ancestors. They willingly sacrificed so of their earnings for this purpose.

In ti, the couple’s life did indeed beco prosperous. They brought their children with them to pay respects at the grave, taking to heart Qin Sisi’s words and considering the grave as the guardian of their happy life. This will be ntioned later.

Later that evening, after the son and daughter-in-law of the Grandma Ghost had left the cetery in fear, Qin Sisi and Ye You appeared from behind a relatively tall tomb, followed by the ghost of the Grandma Ghost, who was only capable of appearing in daylight due to the charm of Ye You.

Qin Sisi was sowhat pale but cheerful. She looked at Ye You and shared a laugh.

Ye You reached out his claw and stroked Qin Sisi’s face, softly speaking, "You worked hard."

With the Grandma Ghost present, Qin Sisi was not able to elaborate. Instead, she shook her head, signalling that she was alright.

The lullaby that had put the couple to sleep was a song taught by Ye You to Qin Sisi. This song, coupled with the power of magic, was capable of inducing sleep.

Although Qin Sisi’s spiritual power was still very weak, it was enough to put two ordinary people without magical ability to sleep.

Ye You explained that as long as Qin Sisi was focused and fully concentrated when she sang, The Magic Source would naturally transmit and embed itself in the song.

Fortunately, Qin Sisi succeeded in putting the couple to sleep. However, her magical power was nearly exhausted. Afterwards, she was physically very weak.

Fortunately, Ye You stepped in and did most of the work afterwards.

Ye You created a dream for the couple with magic, where the couple would unconsciously obsess over their own dreams rather than believe in the words of others.

Because the three of them genuinely stayed beside the unconscious couple during the incantation, the dreams turned out exceedingly real.

However, Ye You did make a few embellishnts according to his liking. For instance, Qin Sisi’s flowing white dress and his own imnse majestic body.

After all of it, Ye You also felt sowhat tired.

So, that night, Ye You did not release the female ghost that they had caught at the train station for a chat, as per the original plan. Instead, he and Qin Sisi curled up together and had a good night’s sleep.

When Qin Sisi woke up the next day, her spirit was refreshed and she was extrely energetic. When she jumped out of bed, she felt her body was much lighter.

Ye You blinked at her and stood up," Let’s try using our previous thod again, to see if you can now sense the Magic Source."

Qin Sisi nodded, returned to bed where she sat cross-legged, with her eyes slightly closed, and her breath condensed into vitality.

Ye You extended his claw and threw his Spiritual Power into Qin Sisi’s forehead.

With the experience from last ti, it much more natural this ti around.

Qin Sisi’s spirit followed Ye You’s spiritual power down from her forehead, and eventually settled in the part of her lower abdon.

After straining her eyes for a mont, Qin Sisi was overjoyed to discover that the area that was previously disordered, was now a cloudy, pearly nebula that resembled a cross-section profile of the Milky Way.
