Chapter 93: Chapter 93: Fairy Descends to Earth_1

Qin Sisi found it a bit amusing, lying beside Ye You and turning on her side to look at him, she mimicked his tone and said, "Such a sore loser."

Ye You opened his eyes, his purple eyes widened and he hissed, "Want to bet whether I’ll bite you?"

Qin Sisi’s expression turned rigid but she gathered her courage and replied, "I don’t believe you would."

Hearing her words, Ye You quickly lunged forward and Qin Sisi, scared, hurriedly covered her face with her hands and pleaded, "Don’t..."

Ye You stopped in front of Qin Sisi, his eyes gradually softened, and his small mouth gently touched the back of the hand she used to cover her face. He whispered, "Enough, go to sleep now."

After saying this, Ye You returned to his original position and closed his eyes again.

Qin Sisi suspiciously spread her fingers apart and peered at Ye You through them. Finding that Ye You had indeed retreated, she finally felt relieved and lowered her hands.

However, seeing Ye You in his restful state, Qin Sisi couldn’t help reaching out to caress his soft body a few tis.

Ye You could only open his eyes again and asked, "Aren’t you sleepy?"

Qin Sisi withdrew her hand awkwardly, glanced at Ye You shyly and then lowered her eyes in silence.

Ye You extended his paw and placed it on Qin Sisi’s face, whispering, "You have duties tomorrow, please, let’s go to sleep."

Qin Sisi’s face turned red and she quietly asked, "Don’t we need to let out and communicate with that ghost woman at the train station?"

Ye You shook his head slightly and said, "I don’t want you to be that exhausted. We can handle the matter with the ghost woman tomorrow night."

"Okay," Qin Sisi murmured a response, her face turning even brighter.

Ye You couldn’t help but laugh, moving closer to Qin Sisi and snuggling tightly against her. One of his paws wrapped around Qin Sisi’s neck and he softly said, "Do I have to do this to make you sleep?"

Qin Sisi’s face turned so red it almost dripped, and she closed her eyes in embarrassnt. However, one of her hands carefully embraced Ye You’s furry body and she wouldn’t let go anymore.

Ye You blinked, and his deep purple eyes were full of tenderness.

The next day, Mother Lin’s condition had mostly recovered, but she still looked a bit weak.

Lin Xiaoyu told his mother what had happened, naturally omitting the section where Qin Sisi communicated with the Grandma ghost the night before.

As a rural woman with little education, Mother Lin is in awe of ghosts and spirits. She marveled at Qin Sisi’s identity and thanked her again.

Afterwards, under the guidance of Ye You, and Lin Xiaoyu under Qin Sisi’s guidance, they called the Grandma ghost’s relatives working in the city, informing them about the ghost possession and warning them about a possible disaster at her family’s ancestral grave.

Although the relatives of the Grandma ghost weren’t particularly heartfelt towards her death, they weren’t completely insensitive either. They drove back ho after receiving the call from Lin Xiaoyu, and by the ti they arrived at the village, it was already past noon.

As it wasn’t convenient for Qin Sisi to show up, Lin Xiaoyu t with the couple on her behalf. He didn’t disclose any information about Qin Sisi. He only ntioned that a mage had cured Mother Lin but she’d heard the ghost that possessed her saying that her son and daughter-in-law were unfilial because they hadn’t visited her on any holidays and anniversaries, saying that she was hungry, cold, and poor down there, so she had no choice but to possess soone for food.

All these words were the truth, directly spoken by the Grandma ghost herself.

Upon hearing this, the son and daughter-in-law of Grandma ghost beca scared and ashad. They apologized to Lin Xiaoyu, then hurried to a grocery store to buy so grave offerings and several packs of ghost money, and hastily went to the mother’s grave.

They placed a brick square, arranged the offerings, then lit up the ghost money, muttering for their mother to co take the money and food, and to no longer co up and cause trouble.

The thin yellow paper ignited upon contact with fire, the flas sotis blue and sotis yellow. The heat from the burning distorted the air slightly.

They stared at the burning yellow paper, murmuring, while a soft and low wavering song seed to co from afar. They paid no attention to it, and continued to prod at the yellow paper in front of them with a small wooden stick.

The song was intermittent, the flas gently flickered, and their eyes gradually beca blurred.

In the daze, a wisp of milky-white mist suddenly floated over the grave. In surprise, the couple widened their eyes, looking at the surroundings carefully.

Gradually, the white mist dissipated, and there was suddenly a figure sitting conspicuously on the lonely grave.

The couple looked carefully and were so shocked that imdiately knelt on the ground. The son stuttered, "Mom, isn’t your son offering you incense and burning paper money? Please, go back down and stop coming up here."

The Grandma ghost snorted and scolded angrily, "You two unfilial people, only think of

when sothing happens. Would I need to possess soone’s body if you visit

during the holidays?"

The couple quickly confessed their error and tried to explain, "We just want to earn more money. Your two grandsons are waiting to use the money!"

Upon hearing ntion of her grandsons, the Grandma ghost’s expression softened a bit and she said, "Given the circumstances, I won’t hold it against you. But listen, I’ve t a benefactor. He said that as long as you frequently pray and make offerings, he will bless you with a fulfilling life full of wealth and longevity."

The couple exchanged surprised glances, half-believing and half-doubting.

The Grandma ghost snorted again, saying, "I knew you won’t believe , so let

show you."

After saying that, she yelled over her shoulder, "Fairy, show so of your kindness again, give these two slightly near-sighted people a taste of sothing to widen their horizons."

Hearing the Grandma ghost talk seriously, the couple promptly open their eyes wide to observe attentively.

The space behind the ghost was initially void, but after she finished talking, a strange shadow seed to drift from afar, which looked like a human and non-human, animal and non-animal, half black and half white, carrying the sound of wind.

The shadow was initially quite small and vague, then it gradually beca larger and clearer. As though after a long ti and yet seemingly an instant, the shadow was already up close.

The couple raised their eyes to look and couldn’t help but gasp in surprise and marvel.

There was undoubtedly a stunning fairy in front of them, wearing a flowing white dress and her soft, black, wavy hair reached her waist. Her charming eyes were filled with tears, her cherry lips were holding back a smile.

What shocked them even more was that the fairy wasn’t standing but was riding on a black divine beast.

The divine beast was as big as a buffalo but moved nimbly and gracefully. Its glossy black fur was pure with no other color, several stiff whiskers were slightly raised, and its profound eyes revealed an observing glare.
