Chapter 895: Chapter 895: Ambushed

The servant quickly delivered fifteen pounds of raw iron to Qin Sisi, and after securing the raw iron, she turned to bid farewell to Fu Liuyou.

Fu Liuyou had a professional smile on his face as he tentatively asked, "Miss, you ntioned before that you’d share your na on the second partnership. I wonder if it is a convenient ti now?"

For a partner with whom he wanted to have a long-term cooperation, Fu Liuyou naturally hoped to learn as much as possible.

Qin Sisi thought for a mont and said, "I could tell you, but I don’t really like attracting attention. It’s enough for Boss Fu to know my na, so please don’t spread it around."

Fu Liuyou imdiately straightened his chest, promising solemnly, "Miss, rest assured, I just want to be clear in my heart. Since you prefer not to, I absolutely won’t tell anyone."

Qin Sisi nodded, stepped closer to him, whispered her na, and then cautioned again, "Boss Fu, you must keep your word!"

Fu Liuyou patted his chest in response, "Miss, don’t worry, I know what to hold in my heart."

"That’s good, I’ll take my leave now." Qin Sisi smiled faintly and left the Testing Gold Pavilion with Xiao ng.

Watching Qin Sisi and Xiao ng disappear at the door of the Testing Gold Pavilion, Fu Liuyou’s eyes narrowed. He could keep the fact that Qin Sisi was a forging master and their partnership a secret, but he was definitely going to inquire about this person.

After leaving the Testing Gold Pavilion, Qin Sisi and Xiao ng decided to find a restaurant and have a good al, as the fare at Heavenly Magic God’s Castle was ultimately too bland, despite Grandma Mad’s care.

The two arrived at a restaurant that looked well-decorated. It was lunchti, and the first floor was overrun with patrons, so the restaurant’s servant led them to the main hall on the second floor, where they found a vacant spot in the corner.

Qin Sisi let Xiao ng order food, and after flipping through the nu, Xiao ng ordered four dishes and one soup, along with two bowls of chicken and green onion noodles, nearly filling the small table.

Qin Sisi couldn’t help but ask with a laugh and a cry, "Are you sure we can finish all this?"

Xiao ng said carelessly, "If we can’t finish it, we’ll just take it with us. We can heat it up in the dorm tonight. I’ve been eating at the cafeteria for so long, I’m about to turn into a rabbit."

Unable to resist laughing, Qin Sisi began to feast with Xiao ng. They ate with gusto, completely oblivious to the fact that in a private room nearby, there were two pairs of eyes watching them.

They indeed did not finish all of the food. Xiao ng packed the leftovers into her storage ring, under the guise of not wanting to waste.

After having their fill, the two were ready to return to Heavenly Magic God’s Castle. Their way back required them to pass through several bustling and busy streets.

Attracted by the dazzling array of goods on a street-side stall, Xiao ng picked out an item after so consideration and bought a rabbit plushie, saying it matched her very well.

After paying, Xiao ng joyfully tied the rabbit plushie to her waistband. As she walked, the little rabbit swung from side to side, and its long ears wobbled playfully, looking rather cute.

Walking for a while and approaching the passage leading into Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, they found the crowd thinning. After all, Heavenly Magic God’s Castle held a sacred status within Scholar City, and it was expected to keep quiet around the entrance and exit of the passage.

Moreover, the entrance was located at the edge of Scholar City, and further north was the territory of the Holy Forest, a gathering place for Demonic Beasts, where ordinary people would not venture.

Just as Qin Sisi and Xiao ng were nearing the entrance of Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, a dark shadow flashed by Xiao ng’s side, snatched the rabbit plushie from her waistband, and with a leap, darted towards the north.

Seeing her newly bought trinket stolen, Xiao ng imdiately beca furious and shouted loudly, "Damn little thief, stop right there!"

While speaking, she hurriedly pursued.

Watching the shadow flit by, Qin Sisi felt an unsettling premonition, but Xiao ng had already chased far ahead. Qin Sisi had no choice but to follow.

After a few minutes of pursuit, Qin Sisi saw a thick and lush towering tree from a distance. She recognized that tree; it was the landmark at the entrance of the Holy Forest.

This tree, unknown in age, was about twenty ters in diater; it would take dozens of people to encircle it. With its main trunk piercing into the blue sky and branches sprawling out, the lush green leaves cast a thick shade below.

A sense of dread suddenly gripped Qin Sisi’s heart. The person’s speed was moderate, as if they were deliberately luring them towards the Holy Forest.

Could it be Ye You’s people? No, that can’t be right. If it were an ally, they would have simply spoken out, no need for such antics.

An ominous feeling rose in Qin Sisi’s heart, and she urgently shouted ahead: "Xiao ng, stop, don’t chase!"

Xiao ng, focused on pursuing the thief who stole her doll, didn’t hear and didn’t stop her chase. She followed the dark figure past the towering tree, entering the domain of the Holy Forest.

Without ti to think, Qin Sisi also rushed in after her, again shouting Xiao ng’s na loudly, telling her to stop.

Hearing Qin Sisi’s anxious calling, Xiao ng finally halted, panting as she turned to ask Qin Sisi, "Sister Sisi, why..."

Before she could finish, Qin Sisi’s face suddenly changed and she shouted, "Watch out!"

At the sa ti, she hastily raised her palm and concentrated a ball of Fire Attribute Magic Power and launched it at the attacker behind Xiao ng.

However, before the golden fireball could reach the attacker, another person in black leaped down from a nearby tree, casually twirling their arms in front and conjuring a Magic Lightning Shield, effectively blocking Qin Sisi’s fireball.

The assailant behind Xiao ng gathered Gold Attribute Magic in their hand, and with a hand-chop struck the back of Xiao ng’s neck. Xiao ng, who hadn’t even had a chance to swing her twin soft whips, felt darkness envelop her vision and collapsed to the ground.

"Xiao ng!" Qin Sisi called out anxiously, took a couple of steps forward, then stopped.

After dealing with Xiao ng, the two figures in black simultaneously turned their gaze towards her. Their faces were covered with black cloth, revealing only a pair of similarly grim eyes, filled with murderous intent.

A chill ran through Qin Sisi’s heart; Xiao ng was not dead, which ant their true target was her.

She widened her eyes to observe the two figures in black, noticing a faint blue glow. They were both Magic Stars.

The usually resolute Qin Sisi now felt despair. As a Low-Level Magic Instructor, it would already be a miracle to deal with one Magic Star, let alone defeat two.

What should she do?

Now, if she summoned the Wings of Rainbow, could she possibly escape?

But if she ran away, what would happen to Xiao ng?

The conflicted Qin Sisi stood still on the spot.

At this mont, the figure in black who had knocked out Xiao ng walked a few steps towards Qin Sisi, standing shoulder to shoulder with the other figure in black. They looked at Qin Sisi as if she were a dead person.
